The hotel was adequate for the price. There is a bus stop nearby, the L2 bus is quite regular or roughly a 20 minute walk.
Room was cleaned daily. Very good shower, 2 thin bath towels, no hand towels. Bed was comfortable, no press or shelves for clothes so had to leave them on the floor.

The price was very reasonable for the room. Most staff members were very helpful and friendly. However, one male staff member in particular was extremely rude and impatient when asked for assistance. This interaction unfortunately had a negative impact on our overall experience.

Friendly and helpful staff.
Slight issue with check-in, wrong room given already had occupants, was slightly embarrassing when we opened the door and some folks were already in bed. Whoops!

The room was very basic, but it was clean and suitable. The service and staff were fantastic! They let us drop our suitcases off early while we went sight-seeing. In the evening, the restaurant was kind enough to make us a special order pizza instead of the buffet.

Very basic hotel but it is ideal for an overnight stay, it has a cafe and bar, and features a self serve all you can eat buffet with a wide range of food choices in the evenings for 15 euros per head.

Another restaurant is located about 10 minutes walk away.

The old town centre is a short taxi drive away, and the Old Town is stunning, make sure you find your way into the huge town square, as well as exploring the streets on the opposite side of the river.

The Ibis Budget Hotel at Girona was generally comfortable with a good shower room and breakfast and a reasonably priced evening meal, but our stay was let down by an air con unit that produced noise but without any cooling and coupled with a window that only opened a few cm and a very warm night meant that it was difficult to sleep.

Even though advertizrd as having AC, it is non existent on my stay may 10, reason its not turned on until weather is hot. On that day its very hot. After i complain they said will give you a fan, no fan materialized. Then they said its on, wait about 10mn. We waited all night, no AC, we had to open window, noise from highway bothered me. Did not get a good night sleep Deceiving advertise. I wont come back

Good Road Trip Budget Stay

No frills accommodation. This Ibis isn't as nice as others we have stayed in. Breakfast is just ok, but the room was clean and the staff were lovely. Underground parking available for 12 euros and above ground parking for 5 euros, perfect for a stop on a road trip.

Well priced budget style hotel

The location appears safe and is near the motorway so a quick getaway if driving. This is a very basic Ibis hotel but the facilities offered at the Ibis next door makes up for it. The room is small, simple but clean and quiet with comfortable bed. There is minimal storage for luggage etc. The bathroom is small but adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good value for Euro 4.50. Wifi is excellent. The aircon is not very effective. There are no English TV channels, no fridge, hairdryer or room safe.
Parking is free in the front carpark. The adjacent Ibis Hotel provides excellent value meals and great staff.
Overall this is a budget Ibis hotel and well priced. Will definitely stay again for 1-2 nights.

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin, ie budget. Therefore conditions are basic but if you don't mind that then that's the hotel for you. It was very clean, no coffee making facilities in the room but we brought our own traveling kettle so didn't mind that. The hotel also serves a basic breakfast as well. It is within walking distance to the old part of Girona, about 10 min walking.
If you hire a car the hotel charges €8 per night for parking, however there's some free parking near by which is where we parked.
We paid £104 for 3 nights' stay and we have no complaints whatsoever

The room was clean and fairly spacious. The bed was too hard for me and the mattress dipped in the middle, woke up with back ache. The shower would go hot and cold and there were only 3 channels that worked on the tv (I did tell the staff but nothing was done about it. The heating in the room was noisey and I couldn't find a way to turn it off.
The breakfast was ok.
If you don't have a car then it was a 20 minute walk to the centre, the buses were to infrequent so quicker to walk.
There was a lot of school children staying in the hotel and around Girona. I think it was the time of year for school trips.

Stayed for one night on our way down to the coast.
The hotel was very basic but had everything we wanted, very clean, aircon, free wifi and a tv.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the late check-out time meant we didn't have to rush in the morning.
We didn't eat at the hotel but there was a large supermarket a five minute walk away where we were able to buy food to take back to the room.
The hotel is slightly out of the city centre but easy to reach on the bus, with two route stopping just a few minutes walk away from the front door.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a basic, value for money stay.

Decent budget hotel near centre of town

Does what it suggests -- provides basic accommodation with no frills ; good spacious room, helped , of course by having the bed as the only furniture ,bar a small plastic stool.

Breakfast was ok, as continental breakfasts go -- we had to use the better cafe next door in the non-budget Ibis as ours was closed -- good value as we got ours at our budget price -- Euros 4.5 ,as opposed to the non-budget price of 9.0 ---difference was a nicer environment , and extras like ham and cheese ; our cafe was a bit 'hostel like'.

Biggest negative : no soap dispenser in the room -- they provide 2 shower gel sachets and 2 bath gel sachets ( but no bath) --- so assuming you use the sachets for having a shower, you either don't wash your hands after using the facilities, or as we did, used our own shower gel . I've stayed in hotels all over the world, some budget, and I can't remember ever not having soap ; I know it's budget, but that's unacceptable --- no we didn't complain.

It's more than 0.5km from centre of town, but we needed the walk

Arrived from the airport after midnight. Taxi was around 25 euros to the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was included in our booking - nothing elaborate - cereal; bread and condiments; yogurt; tea/coffee/juice. Checked out after breakfast and walked approx. 2km to the Girona train station to buy tickets to Barcelona.

Parking is a bit chaotic, as some guests ignore the marked bays, making it difficult to get out should you leave early, but that's hardly the hotel's fault. An easy walk into a very interesting and beautiful old city, particularly when the flower festival is on.

Purpose of trip was too attend spanish GrandPrix with being located a good hour from the circuit of catalunya staying at the ibis in Girona.Once Arriving all fears of a string of Disasters were laid to rest especially in location and plenty of signs making hotel very easy to find.The staff were excellent in service and very helpful and the room was very clean and tidy with excellent washing facilities.Also not very far from Girona cathedral which is a must see with plenty of shops cafes and Bars nearby.Fantastic time at Grandprix and stay in Girona would absolutely Recommend.

I found the hotel to be good value, in a good location. It was easy to find on the outskirts of the city, but in walking distance of city centre. because the hotel is close to the hospital bus service was easy to work out.

Erstaunlich, wie innerhalb von ein und derselben Gruppe \"Ibis Budget\" die Unterschiede diametral sein können. Der Empfang war zwar herzlich, aber das Zimmer, die Sauberkeit, die Qualität der durchgelegenen Matratzen, das überaus minalistische Frühstück sind auf der Stufe 2 von 10 der NP-Skala.
