We arrived in the early-afternoon, and struggled with finding access to the main 'entrance'. After parking and walking around the perimeter of the lodge, we found a keypad which rang into the host of the property. The host was relaxed and laid-back, which spoke to the location of our stay; Can Bassa is tucked 25-minutes outside of Girona, with no local amenities (gas, grocery, food) accessible.
We were seamlessly checked into our room and provided details on the supplied morning breakfast. The room was clean, rustic, and provided a sense of peace/relaxation. We stayed here in early-Summer and quickly learned that the A/C temperature was locked at 19*c.
While this lodging option is listed as a 'hotel' for booking, I would consider this more of a bed-and-breakfast styled stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our night stay here!
