Hotel BYPILLOW ERBA was a very cute hotel, clean and wonderful amenities close to the old town Girona, i love the location, however the only downside was the parking lot, you have to walk like 10minutes away to get to the parking lot, which they share with the hospital. Otherwise, it was a clean place.

All in all an excellent stay

All around excellent stay. Check in could not have been a better experience. Rome is immaculately clean. Decor is very simple but comfortable. Also functional. Plenty of electrical plugs. Good Wi-Fi. Nice lounge area in the hotel common space. Great location, fewer than 10 minutes from the city center on foot. Hotel is quiet yet not too quiet.

Furniture in the hotel were very cheaply made. Everyone you touched anything it was pull out or come apart. Ants were in the room and hallway. Not where it was a huge concern but kept seeing them in the room on the floor and desk and outside the door. Stayed for a night and cheaper option last minute.

Extremely noisy, couldn’t sleep all night. The faucet was broken and the water was leaking. The duvet cover seemed dirty and I noticed little white bugs in the room. While I didn’t have high expectations for such an affordable place, still basic cleanliness is a requirement!

The front desk lady was nice, but everything else was horrible. Done waste your money.

A lovely hotel in Girona

This was a great hotel the air conditioning was very usefull.There was a beautifull bathroom and there is a mulitstory carpark across the road.The staff were realy friendly and helpfull.It had some nice restaurants near by. If we come to Gerona again then we will definently stay here again.

Also when I first had a shower the water was brown, from that point the water was not warm either. We only stayed one night so it wasn't worth moving rooms

Erba by Pillow is a nice, restful place to stay. The bed was kind of hard, but I would have rated the hotel with a full on smile if I hadn’t been wakened in the middle of the night (on my second night there) by a man pounding on the door, saying, “Open the door! I am from the hotel! We have a noise complaint against you!” I am in my late 60’s. I was almost asleep, and I was NOT making any noise. He said, “I can open the door. Do I have to do that, or are you going toopen it for me?” I had no idea who this guy was/. For all I knew, he wanted to to rob me. He finally went away saying, “I am sorry that you made some noise!” Ridiculous! I called downstairs, and the guy did work there and apologized, but that was some unnecessary stress. How was I supposed to know who he was? I was half asleep in bed in my nightgown, for crying out loud.

The hotel is near the river and the central market. Hotel supplied parking was expensive so we parked in the street near the market. We could walk to a good selection of restaurants as well as the iconic riverside apartments. Sadly, the river level was very low and the river bed was dry in places.

The hotel is really nice, the bed and the bathroom is amazing. Aircon works very nice. Unfortunately due to some problems with the pipes in the building on our 2nd day we got transferred to another hotel called Conda by Pillow, which wasn't that nice, much older room, with squeaky bed and small old bathroom and barely functioning aircon. I know its not their fault that the pipe broke and they did the best they could in the situation. But Condal compared to Erba is a downgrade.

This was quite a late booking, and it was the pictures and location that sold it, really, compared to other low cost options.
The pictures didn’t lie. It’s a cute little, basic, comfortable accommodation as expected, with enough small touches of loveliness (sweets on the pillow, hairdryer in the room, very nice foamy shower gel in the shower unit, etc) that just made it an ideal stay,
As for location, for access to the old town and the rest of the city it’s perfect, just a pleasant walk along the river to get to the old town (and very close to one of the access points to the city wall walk), and also only 5-10mins walk from the bus and train station.
We arrived around midnight (another deciding factor), and the 24 hour reception is great for that.
Definitely a consideration for future stays.

Excellent location not too far from railway and Coach station and near to Old City. Very inclement weather (7.5C on arrival) meant that the warm radiator heated bedroom room was very welcome, however there was no heating in the ceramic tiled bathroom which was not a nice room to hang around in having an outer wall and window. Have stayed in small hotels that put a wall heater on a timer in bathrooms, that make ablutions more pleasant in winter etc.

This hotel looks nothing special from the outside but it was perfect for our one night stay in Girona. Our flight was late evening and by the time we'd sorted our hire car it was after 11pm when we arrived. But the young man on reception was extremely helpful guiding us to the hotel parking. Staff had also responded quickly to any queries before we arrived. Reserving a parking place was worth the extra 14 euros as it was in a secure private garage a few doors down from the hotel) The hotel also allowed us to leave our car there whilst we looked round Girona the next day. Our family room had a balcony onto the internal courtyard which was nice. Great bathroom. And the hotel is less than 10 mins walk to the centre. Perfect..

Right next to \"Old Town\" and a short walk to all of the sights you want to see in this beautiful medieval town. Also a 10-15 minute walk form the train station. Perfect if you want to see both Girona & the Dali museum in Figueres. Very helpful and friendly staff helped us get where we wanted to go. Only complaint is the bed wasn't the most comfortable.

We loved Hotel Margarit. The room was perfect for our young family and the hotel is close to the walled parts of Girona. Parking was also close by. We did have trouble operating the air conditioning and the elevator is really small (we barely fit with two adults, a 6 yr old and 1 yr old in a stroller.

My daughter and I had a lovely weekend in Girona celebrating our birthdays.
The hotel was small and friendly and very close to the historic old town. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which had a good selection to choose from.
We could also leave our luggage in a locked room after check out which was helpful on our last day.

Situated on a busy street within a short walking distance from the old town, however, it was surprisingly quiet in our room with little disruption to sleep. Great staff, always friendly and happy to offer advice about Girona and the local transport to nearby beaches. Our room was great value for money - comfortable and clean. one very small gripe....no chest of drawers in room. We had a great stay all the same and would recommend Hotel Magrit. The old town of Girona is delightful, well worth a visit.

This is a great hotel ideally placed for exploring Girona. There's a car park directly opposite which makes it very convenient too. The room was clean and well equipped and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of foods. If I was being über picky I'd say our room was a touch small for 2 adults and 2 children as was the bathroom but this really is splitting hairs in a fantastic hotel. I'd definitely recommend you stay here to explore Girona.

Good location close to the old town, though just a bit hard to find (small sign). Rooms very clean. Only issue was parking. They said they have limited parking and to reserve ahead. I left a message through Expedia when making the reservation requesting a parking place. Got no response, so the morning of our arrival we called to confirm. They said they had no record of the request and they were full. Their explanation of where to park was unclear. On arrival we found a parking garage nearby that was more than twice as expensive and walked to the hotel. When checking in they started to explain where their parking was located, and seemed confused. She admitted she was the same woman we had talked to that morning who told us they didn't have a spot for us. It all seemed a bit disorganized though they were pleasant. We had to leave early so didn't have breakfast, but looked like they had a nice large room set up for it. Would stay again, but if you're driving be aware of the parking situation (there is also no place to 'pull over' to check in - you're on a busy city street). There are plenty of garages nearby, but expensive. We enjoyed our stay.
