The room was neat & clean bed was comfortable & shower was great. The location was not so good. I booked in a hurry without checking location in maps. It’s far away from everything including train & bus stand. I paid €12.50 each way. At midnight I could hear people talking & shouting loudly in the street below. Room was warm, they don’t provide fan if you’re uncomfortable like me

A very clean hotel, basic, fantastic staff

We arrived in the evening and were greeted warmly by the staff, quick check in and upstairs to our basic but very clean room. Comfy bed, quiet, thank god for air con! Breakfast had a great varied choice and was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay in any of the Hotels in this group. Excellent!

Hotel is basic but is clean and has everything you need. The area is not very nice. Very run down. They tell you that Girona is 4 kms away. Try 15!
There are no places to eat around the hotel besides the food court at the mall.

I was hesitant to book this hotel, seemed too inexpensive to be good. The hotel is fantastic. Although it is a chain, and put together as a budget hotel, everything came together in a fantastic package. Even little things like the four stairs up to the elevator had a granite ramp next to it so the suitcase with wheels didn't have to be lifted. Breakfast was excellent, place was sparkling clean. It's not in the center of Girona, but a short distance out. Good dining in short walking distance, and indoor shopping just across the street. Staff was competent and helpful, going out of their way to make sure that everything in the room worked perfectly.

Comfortable enough. The larger local town is worth the visit.My husband cut his head on the glass shelf next to the sink. The staff showed real concern but it was a design fault that needs to be rectified. Breakfast was good - a lot of choice and quite cheap.

Very good for car travellers

Good rate for the money paid. If you are car travellers (I was with car) - this hotel is perfect place (having in mind city center with free parking areas there/around the city park). Without car - I can not evaluate. Once again: In Spain - white marking areas-free parking, blue stripes-parking is payable(look around for tax machines), green stripes - local citizens, yellow stripes - only supply cars for 30 min and don't park there. Blue(and may be green/have to be confirmed) are free during weekend and holidays.Around this hotel - big areas with white marking areas. Girona is very interesting destination(very interesting old city center). Enjoy! Around the hotel are many shopping malls.

At the meagre price expected a pit but.....wow! Less than £30 a night with breakfast..superb. Think Travelodge then go up a class, genuinely good. Try the Gran Buffet show dining 150metres away- a wealth of quality dishes and puds with free soft drinks....14 euro. I cant wait to go back!

Enjoyed our stay. The room is very basic, but was adequate for our needs. The hotel does not provide free toiletries, other than liquid soap, so BYO or purchase a kit at reception. No kettle or fridge in room. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Free wifi, reliable. The buffet breakfast was included, and we enjoyed that very much. Public swimming pool one block away. Free parking onsite. EVERYTHING locally shuts down during siesta, so get something to eat beforehand. However, if you're exploring Girona old town (as you should be!) the restaurants there are open all day and evening. It is about 5km to the historical centre of Girona. If you plan to drive, there are commercial carparks downtown, or you can park on edge of town for free and walk. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Overnight stay before final destination

Easy to find from airport was good for an overnight stay.Plenty of parking. Staff very helpful and friendly. Short walk to bus stop for bus to Girona centre.Local eating places in area. Ideal stopover hotel. You could help your self to hot drinks from a vending machine at any time but it would have been nice to have had fresh coffe at breakfast as they do in the Formular 1 hotels in France. Overall good value for money for a short visit.

Great deal despite the location

This is a hotel for the price of a hostel! Everything was clean and functional and better than I would expect for the price. The location was quite far from the center and I'm not sure how I would feel about the neighborhood late at night. I would definitely stay there again if I had a car like this time, otherwise I'd consider some place closer.

The hotel was in the outskirts of Girona. I knew this when booking the hotel, but I was surprised and frustrated by how loud it was at night. The hotel is next to a mall, so kids/teens/young adults were having a yelling match at around 4 AM. Everything else was fine - the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was very modern.

I've rated this hotel very highly because the stafff are very helpful indeed and helped us out with directions, parking in Girona, extra pillows etc. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day and all the facilities worked fine. The wi-fi was a little hit and miss on the 4th floor.

The hotel is located on a buisiness park next door to a very large modern shopping centre. It's about 2 mins drive to the autovia (motorway) so although there is nothing at all to see near the hotel it's well located for anyone with a car. Girona is about 5 mins drive away and a taxi costs around 12 Euros.

There is a breakfast buffet in the hotel with free hot drinks. There are some ok restaurants in the shopping centre but the food in Girona is far better and around the same price.

The Hotel Sidorme in Salt Girona.

We found the Sidorme very conveniently situated to the La Mirona, a venue where our son was playing. The room was very basic as expected but extremely clean and had all we required. The Hotel staff were multi lingual and extremely helpful. If you want a budget hotel we would have no hesitation in recommending

We stayed just one night and were pleased with the accommodations. The room was clean and very basic. The bathroom was actually quite modern feeling with the glass wall and door. Free parking and free wifi were a plus. We asked at the front desk where to go for dinner and all that we were told was to go to the Mall across the street. We did walk over there and found many places to choose from. We stayed here rather than in Girona, where we went the next day. We were especially pleased with staying in Salt once we got into Girona, as it was a much more complicated town and finding our way to a hotel and then parking would have been difficult (and expensive). We did not partake of the hotel's breakfast, so cannot comment on it.

We stayed 1 night at the Sidorme Hotel in Salt during August after flying in to Girona Airport. We wanted a room for the night before our journey to France. We had an en suite room. The Hotel was basic but clean and comfortable and in good order. It was ideal for our needs but is not a hotel you would want to spend the whole of your holiday in as it seems to be in the middle of an industrial type estate. Although the Hotel does not do evening meals we went to a retail complex nearby that serves a variety of food at many different outlets at a reasonable price. We would stay at the Sidorme again if we needed an overnight stop.

Best Air Conditioning in Spain

The receptionist was expecting us and was extremely cheerful and friendly. The room was very clean and in good decorative order. The most important thing about the room was the efficiency of the air conditioning, it was effective, easy to use and a very modern and expensive model. The shower was powerful and was cleaned to a very high standard. Good selection of English speaking channels. Hotel is really easy to find. At check out receptionist team very friendly and chatty. Ten out of ten!

Very simplistic, might be good for young guys, backpacking in Spain

Hotel rooms are very simplistic. Our mistake was to get attracted by low prices. It obviously a stay of choice for younger generation. As a result our last night in the hotel there was a \"gang\" of 20+ youngsters checking in. And they returned back 5:30 am waking up everyone, triggered fire alarm at 6 am, etc. Lots of \"fun\".

very new hotel - location is on the very outskirts of Girona in a developing area, however there was a Lidl 3minutes away and a shopping mall with McDonalds opposite the hotel which was still open when we were leaving at 7pm Sunday. A bus route 30seconds away which takes you right into town but ony runs once an hour or so.

Staff are friendly and helpful with info and you can leave your bags securely. nice bathroom facilities in the room, although the translucent door means you need to be sure of who you are sharing with!!!

It was hot weather when we were there, which might account for no blanket/duvet on the bed, but they are provided if asked for. All in all, nice place for the £43 we paid for one room for one night (no breakfast)

A one night stay is one night too many!

This hotel is a big blue box ~ lots of windows and one tiny sliding door at one corner. We were confronted (can't say 'greeted') by a receptionist who looked like she'd been sucking lemons all night! She asked us our name, demanded our passports, told us our room number, just that.
The room was white and very clinical. No pictures, just a bed with 2 white pillows, a white top and bottom sheets. No spares of any description. To say things were sparse is summed up in that there wasn't even a plastic cup for teeth cleaning in the bathroom.
Breakfast! Now that WAS something to behold. We swear to this day that the food had come from a local restaurant and was their leftovers. All was wrapped in cling film and looked very sad. Once we'd grabbed a tray there was no shelf to rest it on and so everything had to be done one-handed. No bowls for cereal ~ the juice glasses had to be used. No teaspoons so had to dig about in a small glass with a dessert spoon! There were two coffee machines but one wasn't working and the other produced 'cafe au lait' without the 'lait'! And the worst thing about it all was there were no one around to ask ~ ever.
Once visited but never again. We're well traveled so we take some shocking and we were shocked.

Este es un hotel de polígono pero que está muy cerca de Girona, bien comunicado pues hay una parada de bus a 200 metros, te deja en el centro de Girona. Hotel muy limpio, personal muy agradable e instalaciones correctas, la habitación limpia y con todo lo necesario. Lo única pega es que la carta de bocadillos, pizzas y bebidas es cara y de mala calidad, por lo demás todo correcto y volvería a hospedarme allí.

We stayed there one night before starting our hiking journey to Montsereat. Everything was clean and tidy, quiet, the breakfast buffet was nice, staff friendly and helping. It could have been a bit more cosy, but for this price it was great.

Si tratta di una catena low cost ma le camere sono confortevoli e pulite,non so dire dellacolazione perché sono partito molto presto. Devo complimentarmi per il servizio alla reception perché è stato straordinariamente cordiale ed efficiente come nemmeno in hotel di categoria superiore.
