I would like to mention that the hotel staff was very helpful to address the issue with A/C in the room. We found out that it does not work and very quickly we were offered to move to a better suite. Much appreciated.
Overall the hotel was very comfortable and clean. The area is great, very close to the train and bus station.

This hotel is very dated. The room is a bit stuffy, lots of furniture and old. Odd smell and you can’t open the window. Service is not very friendly, we asked for 30min late checkout and the girl didn’t even let me finish my sentence before saying no.

This hotel was really lovely and comfortable. The parking situation was a bit tricky. We ended up parking in the wrong garage and paid $51 for one day. So be careful, and do not park in the Biblioteca (library) parking lot. There are several restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The rooms were big and comfortable, but the AC was not working, so we had to open the windows. My friend's room was facing the church, and they rang the bell at night, like every hour, disturbing their sleep. The breakfast was great!

This was a great hotel for visiting Girona. It was easy walking distance to the old town with all of the restaurants and sites. The room was exceptionally nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was just OK, nothing amazing - would have totally gone out to eat and would have been better. Location is key as it is walkable to the beautiful downtown. Room was clean and comfortable. Drinking water was charged but reasonable. Didn't seem too full, yet was not able to extend 1-2 hour past check in.

The front desk associate was so nice. Very friendly and helpful, holding our bags for us while we explored the city before catching our train back to Madrid. We were lucky enough to get a really cool, curved room which overlooked the courtyard. The room was almost as big as my first house! The prices were high but we didn’t realize the gravel race was going on. My husband was in heaven lol. It’s a cyclists paradise in Girona, and this hotel was a perfect place to stay.

Hotel was very good quality. Well located for station and historic centre. Rooms clean and comfortable and quiet.
Staff were very pleasant.
Only negatives were that you couldn’t control the aircon very well and it made a noise whenever it kicked in, which was annoying at night. And the bar closed earlier than advertised. But overall a good friendly hotel.

A rare find: Good location, service & comfortable

Great hotel and great value. A quick 5-10 min walk from the Girona Roman wall, Cathedral and the river. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and modern bathrooms. Staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful with information about local attractions. The hotel restaurant food was excellent and servers treated you like family. Just an FYI .. kitchen opens at 20:30. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend the Carlemany

As usual its a lovely place to stay with secure parking, Room nice and clean, Front desk very good! However!! after ordering 2 irish coffes in Hotel Bar for a nitecap(sat outside and waited 15mins as busy)) The waiter stumbled and 1 of coffees tipped all over my husband including his (NICE) leather jacket!! The head waiter returned and wiped (as much as could!!) with the excuse the glasses are small!!!!Mmmm!!! His drink was replaced!! When we asked for the bilL We waited another 15mins So went inside and asked for it again! There was NO sorry or recompense(would have thought my husband at least would have had NO CHARGE!! We are not people that make a fuss-so we payed!! I told the front desk in the morning of our departure and they asked if we had been compensated?? I said No and that I was NOT HAPPY!! So they just said Oh-I am very sorry but will pass your comments on!! Guess we might try another hotel when we next visit Girona!!

We were driving through to uk from marbella, so only stayed 1 night, this hotel was a superb find, very comfortable, clean and fresh. Safe underground parking for our car, which is also important to us.

The hotel is within walking distance of the rail and coach station and is located in the new town - the historic old town about a 10 minute walk so all Girona attractions and shops close to hand . There are good restaurants minutes away ( I especially reccomend Escondido Mexican Canteena and pizzeria la pulcinella although the hotel itself does have 2 restaurants and a coffee shop - the indigo tapas restaurant seems populare with residents and non residents alike and is part of a plaza seatinsg area.
Having stayed in the old town on a previous visit I was worried that I would not enjoy staying in the newtown as much but this wasn't the case.

Good hotel, good position

This hotel was ideally situated between the old town and the new, so no problem there. The wi if in the room was a bit hit and miss, but not to bad. Breakfast was expensive €14.5 only had this once, as the hotel has a cafe where a continental breakfast was €6.5, no need to step outside even. The old town is really pleasant and quirky, the walk on the old town walls is a must to do also visit the cathedral and the basilica.
