Amazing location and lovely facilities. I checked in late because my flight was departing at 5:45am, but the staff were very accommodating. As the airport shuttle wasn’t operating at that time, the receptionist kindly arranged a taxi for me.
I made the most of my stay by using the swimming pool and dining at the restaurant. I really enjoyed my meal and overall experience, and I look forward to booking again in the future.

We arrived to the Girona airport very late at 1 am. I called the hotel and they sent the shuttle over to pick us up. In the morning we caught the shuttle back over to the airport and purchased bus tickets for the bus that took us directly to the north Barcelona station. The hotel room was very clean and well maintained. The pool and spa / hot baths area were clean and beautiful. We didn’t eat at the property except for a morning cafe latte, but the breakfast looked good. The front desk staff spoke English well and was extremely helpful to us regarding transportation questions. We were happy with our stay and would recommend the Salles Hotel!

Not horrible, but on a land island so nowhere to go. The pool area had a lot of bird droppings around the patio that seem to have not been cleaned in days/weeks. Good at restaurant was tasteless. Outdated so value not good

Convenient location near airport and main roads to explore area around Girona. Room as advertised and spacious. Great outdoor pool and indoor spa pool. Really enjoyed relaxing stay at the hotel. Although if you do want walking distance to restaurants / attractions then do look at the location of this hotel as it is away from main town. Lovely hotel and perfect for my stay in the area.

The shuttle was not responsive but my flight arrived at 1.15 am so took a 15 euro taxi. Asked for some water at reception and was referred to my minibar! So much for a free drink upon arrival. Spa looks great but proximity to airport is greatest value.

Had to take an overnight stop before a morning flight from Girona airport, so a hotel closeby was a must. Booked this hotel through Expedia along with my flight, and it couldn't be better. Everything was spotless, the staff were superb, the room was large and well-appointed. Most hotels I stay in have one common 'fault' - a double room with only one chair! This place had 2 chairs, and a table, and another chair behind the desk. I arrived early so had a quick drink at the bar while my room was finished - €3.50 for a large cold beer... yes! The pool was cool and clean, with a pool bar open all day until late, and we also had a gym and sauna, which we were allowed to use free for the first hour. Food was delicious and not too pricy, and although we were only 5 minutes drive from the airport (using the free airport shuttle) there was very little, if any, aircraft noise sat out by the pool. All in all, an absolute bargain at £88 a night, including the marvellous breakfast! Next time I fly to/from Girona I'll be arriving a day early to have another stay. Thoroughly recommended.

The hotel is very convenient for Girona airport being only 5min by free hotel shuttle bus. The shuttle runs 24/7.
At first arrival the hotel facade looks disappointing, like a 1970s eastern Eeopean motel
However, once inside things change. The lobby is more 1980s casino glitz. Once past this you will gind a really good hotel. Freshly renovated, marble and tiles in a coean design. Spacious rooms with all the expected amenities like safe, minibar, slippers, tea and coffe etc. Our room also had plenty large white fluffy towels and the shower had the best water pessure we have experienced in a hotel.A spa area with indoor pool and an outdoor pool with plenty of sun loungers. The pool bar guy is great and very helpful. The restaunt had a good choice of dinner options at very reasonable prices and the wine selction was excellent.
BUT...we didnt get any sleep.
Airport hotels tend to be frequented by tourists, business people, airline crews on short layover or early/late flights so need sleep. We had a 3am flight to catch so were in bed by 10pm. 10.30pm.we were woken by women of middle eastern appearance talking loudly on phone outside our room. This was followed by another womand an a child chasing in the corridor. They laughed when I asked them to be quiet.Woken again midnight similarly with knocking and slamming doors this time a man and two women. And again at 2am.
I complained to reception. Apparently they are longer term residents and there had been previous complaints.
At first arrival the hotel facade looks disappointing, like a 1970s eastern Eeopean motel
However, once inside things change. The lobby is more 1980s casino glitz. Once past this you will gind a really good hotel. Freshly renovated, marble and tiles in a coean design. Spacious rooms with all the expected amenities like safe, minibar, slippers, tea and coffe etc. Our room also had plenty large white fluffy towels and the shower had the best water pessure we have experienced in a hotel.A spa area with indoor pool and an outdoor pool with plenty of sun loungers. The pool bar guy is great and very helpful. The restaunt had a good choice of dinner options at very reasonable prices and the wine selction was excellent.
BUT...we didnt get any sleep.
Airport hotels tend to be frequented by tourists, business people, airline crews on short layover or early/late flights so need sleep. We had a 3am flight to catch so were in bed by 10pm. 10.30pm.we were woken by women of middle eastern appearance talking loudly on phone outside our room. This was followed by another womand an a child chasing in the corridor. They laughed when I asked them to be quiet.Woken again midnight similarly with knocking and slamming doors this time a man and two women. And again at 2am.
I complained to reception. Apparently they are longer term residents and there had been previous complaints.

Perfect for Girona airport
We choose this hotel due to its proximity to Girona airport and it was perfect for arriving and departing by plane. The hotel runs a shuttle service to and from the airport which is included in the price. It just made our trip so much more relaxing. The facilities are great. We loved the large courtyard with the pool - perfect for relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s also a regular bus that gets you from the hotel to Girona in 20 minutes.

Not great check in procedures for Expedia customers. Had to forward email to check in. Why? Got no info at check in about dining, shuttles, etc. Rep was not focused on me at check in, others were able to interrupt my check in with their inquiries. Ants or little bugs all over room and into luggage. Can hear water from other showers in other rooms, very loud.

We got stuck in the French air strike so had to travel to Girona Spain to get back home so stayed at this hotel and after a very stressful weekend staying here was a blessing. The Receptionist was so kind to us ( just sorry I don’t know his name) he let us get a room early and this was so welcome to us as we had been travelling from very very early morning and we were exhausted after the stressful few days. The hotel has a lovely pool and spa area which we really enjoyed and could chill out in. The food was fantastic all the staff were so friendly and kind to us would highly recommend this hotel

Very nice hotel. Decor a bit Spartan in public areas. Outdoor pool beautiful but unable to order drinks there. Indoor spa is great although a couple of the jets not working. Great airport hotel. Under the current circumstances the hotel was very good. I was collected from the airport by bus even though it’s only a 10 min walk. Checked in late, restaurant bar still open. Closed at midnight. Room was small but average size, modern, clean, continental beddinng, TV Wifi etc.
I did not take breakfast due to the size of the lovely salad I had for dinner. Just coffee which was fine.

We had a nice stay in this hotel.great location if flying out of girona but nothing else around it. The hotel was quite and the pool and spa were nice but unfortunately the food could be better. Same menu for lunch a dinner (just a couple of extra options for dinner) and it was not the best. At lunch time I had the panini and it was ok but the burger at dinner was not the best..

Little gem to finish your holiday.
We stayed here on the last day of our holiday due to an early flight the following morning. It's ridiculously inexpensive for the standard. The room was modern and comfortable with the air-conditioning. The shower was powerful and toiletries provided. There is a nice pool where we enjoyed a dip in the late afternoon sunshine. We didn't have time to use the indoor pool or spa but other guests were very complimentary about them. The food in the restaurant was excellent and again reasonably priced as was the coffee in the morning, didn't have breakfast due to flight time but there looked to be a good buffet selection. The free shuttle to the airport capped off our stay and we will definitely stay again the next time we are in the region.

This is the second time that Salles Hotel has come to our rescue after arriving on a delayed Ryanair flight and car hire being closed! I won't go in to that!
Suffice to say, that we have decided that whenever we are on the later flights to Gerona, we will just book to stay at the hotel as part of the start of our trip.
The service from pick up at the airport to the great guy behind the desk to the fab rooms is just so good and totally seamless.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

This was our second stay at Salles Hotel. It has good air conditioning, comfortable beds and powerful shower The pool was gorgeous, plenty of beds, tables and flowers around. We had to have two extra nights, due to flight cancellation, but we didn’t mind as the meals were very good with one of the biggest breakfast buffets we have seen. The hourly bus stops outside for 25 minutes into Girona, for 3.40 euros. However the taxi was a whopping 26 !

This is a stylish modern hotel with internal and external swimming pools. The room was of a good size, the bed excellent, and there was a mini-bar. Because of the seasonal nature of Girona airport's traffic, it was very quiet for our stay, and the menu was quite limited. The cooking was excellent, howecer, and the service very polite and attentive. The hotel is rather a long way from Girona to be the place you would choose for a visit to the wondeful old town, but for airport or motorway overnights it is excellent and competitively priced.

Stayed for one night to enable us to get an early flight home.The hotel is nothing to look at from the outside and stands all alone on the approach road to the airport. The inside is a pleasant surprise very modern and clean. The room was equally modern decorated in black & white. The room was a bit small but OK for one night. The outside pool area was very pleasant and well cared for. Didn't use the spa or the restaurant. The free shuttle service worked well but must be booked on check-in. We were suitably impressed with the hotel and will stay there again possibly for longer..

This was an overnight stay before a morning flight with the idea that we could get a good night's sleep. The facilities and staff are excellent at this hotel and we have stayed here a number of times. Our stay this time was marred by people/person in the room above who came in at 3am and continued to be very noisy for an hour or so, constantly walking around on a hardwood floor with shoes on (the hotel does supply slippers) and using the shower/bathroom numerous times - the water pipes/drainage system meant we could hear water running/draining very loudly in our room. Having then settled it all started up again at 6am so we had very little sleep.

The hotel was very convenient to the motorway for travellers heading into Spain from France or the other way. Girona Airport was also a short distance away. It was quite isolated however and even though it a offered a good amount of amenities there was nothing else in the near vicinity, as an alternative. Noise levels could be improved eg carpeted floors in the bedrooms. Considering the size of the bathroom, a bath could have been included to help the weary traveller to relax

Lovely hotel which we used for overnight stay before an early flight., The airport bus from Girona drops you at the door and there is a shuttle bus to the airport. The room was spacious, if a little unusual in layout and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. Reception were very efficient. didn't eat there but buffet breakfast looked good.
