Attended a 2 day corporate event. The hotel was completely booked for the event only. The hotel did a great job with 300 demanding guests. My junior suite was amazing, they daily cleaned the bat guana on the balcony (yes). Barmen knew their drinks and made them classically. The housekeeping service top notch. Food, depends on what you order. The event food was better than average.

The food here really was not good. On the first day when I walked in after golfing asked them if they had any rooms available, they told me they were fully booked. I went online and saw many rooms and ended up booking there.

A great escape!

We had an amazing weekend here. The staff is highly service-minded and goes over and beyond to assist you. The hotel is as it looks in the marketing material, a really lovely inspirational place. The hotel is impeccably clean. With COVID-19 the hotel has adapted and it felt very safe. The only slightly less positive comment is regarding the Spa, it's very full and I couldn't get any treatment there during our two night/three days stay.

Very attractive hotel with very nice staff. I am not a golfer, which is the main reason to go, of course, but the grounds are very pleasant. I had the huge pleasure of a tree tour with Oriol.
The food is fine and the rooms are comfortable. You’re only 10 minutes from Gerona which is famous for its restaurants.
Some suggestions: make sure there are no long queues for breakfast, bearing in mind we had to give a specific time due to Covid. More chairs around the pool. Also, the little plastic water bottles (why not a water fountains, with paper cups?). Apart from that: excellent.

Excellent golf and very affordable to play. I rented clubs (no charge since it is their 20th anniversary year, and a pull cart (4 euros) and played the tour course (73 euros). Finished the round in 3 hours 35 minutes. But, I agree it is pretty hard walking, very hilly.

Couldn't fault the place really, it was very busy during the weekends, and the food in the main restaurant was to be honest nothing remarkanble, so we ate out every other evening Girona only a 20 min drive/taxi away. There was a great open air market, with food stalls & Live music next to the hotel during the weekend we stayed, which we enjoyed. The drinks there were half the price of those in the hotel which was a little odd. Room was fantastic, South facing and overlooking the pool.

The room and all facilities were all excellent. Luxury design and high-tech equipment. The room and bathroom is very big and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Everything seemed perfect.

The worst thing was; we stayed with our kid and when we went to the restaurant to have dinner (which is the only option as the location is far from center), they said it was fully reserved. They told us there were not enough staff working in the restaurant so they couldn't accept us. The restaurant was fully empty at that time and we asked for 15 minutes to sit and feed the kid with a simple food like pasta but they did not accept it either. We weren't warned during checkout also, we could have made a reservation. Without any other option to have dinner around, we were hopeless at that time of the day with a hungry kid. I still cannot believe that they can't serve enough people staying at the hotel. They suggested another restaurant in another hotel nearby which we went but that was terrible.

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff. We choose the hotel after deciding we wanted a few nights of luxury on our Spanish road trip and we certainly were not disappointed. The hotel was stunning with a really relaxing and charming ambience. We stayed in the junior suite which was perfect for two adults a four year old and an 8 month old baby. The room was modern, clean and had a separate lounge with a TV. The bathroom was perfect, with a large bath both adults and children enjoyed a good soak in. The breakfasts were out of this world, plenty to choose from in the buffet for all the family and the waiting staff were really accommodating. The pool area was perfect for our 4 year old, to splash about in and the main pool was just right for the grown ups. I played golf on one day of our stay and to help with the child care we used a child carer from the hotel who entertained our eldest in the kids club area for a few hours, the carer did a brilliant job and would highly recommend using one if you have children joining you on a stay. For the adults there is a spa, which is also perfectly set for a relaxing few hours. Or like me if you are a golfer I highly recommend using the golf practice facilities or playing either course as both are at a premium standard. I have no complaints about the hotel the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for some luxury and a relaxing stay.

We stayed here because hotels.com was offering a great rate for a 5 star hotel and we wanted to see Girona. Although most people staying here were either golfing or playing tennis it turned out to be an amazing resort experience near a great city.

Beautiful Property, Slow in Service

I stayed at La Camiral for a wedding and WOW! This is a fantastic property. The rooms are giant and the bathtub was as large as a pool. The major drawbacks are that you have to walk from property to property within the resort. There is no shuttle service and there are limited sidewalks. It is also far from Girona. If your plan is to stay at the resort and not go elsewhere, you are golden. I wish I had prebooked a taxi, as it was nearly double having the hotel call one. The breakfast was spectacular, but the service left a little lacking. It took nearly 10 mins to get someone’s attention for a pot of tea and then another 10 for the pot to arrive. I wasn’t super impressed by the dinner, but wasn’t unhappy either. For my purpose of a place to stay near the wedding venue, it worked. The property is new and exceptionally clean.

This hotel is rated one of the best in the world and has Spain’s best golf course as part of the same complex. Incredible hotel if you are looking to play golf, use the spa, use the pool and relax. Need a car to get to anywhere outside the resort.

We had a great stay at the hotel. We were there for a friend's wedding and stayed for 3 days. The hotel is excellent. Service was good, but was sometimes slow. Breakfast staff were excellent and food was of high quality.

Lovely hotel booked it for two nights as we were going on to a twelve night stay somewhere else as a package.
Wish we could of stayed longer beautifully designed every corner you looked at was thought fully designed.
Only slight annoyance was all the children played in the main pool instead of the children’s pool so didn’t allow the adults without children peace and quiet or able to swim.

Most beautiful resort in Costa Brava!!! Amazing!!

We just came back from Costa Brava and stayed at El Camiral for five days. The resort is new and modern... The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had and the service was impeccable!! Would definitely stay there again... Wheather you play golf or not this resort is a must!! The pool is gorgeous and the resort is beautifully designed... Thank you to Esther for helping us with our car rental and for always advising us correctly about the area.
This is the only place to stay in Costa Brava!!

Très bel hôtel, avec un personnel agréable.
Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre classique, spacieuse, équipée à la fois d’une douche et d’une baignoire.

Le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel : servi jusqu’à 11 h le week-end, inclus dans le prix de la chambre, et composé de produits de qualité. Les œufs, boissons chaudes et pancakes sont préparés à la demande. Le buffet propose un large choix de cakes et viennoiseries, des fruits frais découpés, une fontaine à chocolat, ainsi que fromage, saumon et une grande variété de charcuteries à la coupe. On y trouve également une yaourtière et des options sans gluten.

La piscine est très confortable et le dîner, délicieux. L’établissement dispose d’un grand parking gratuit et même d’une vingtaine de superchargeurs Tesla sur place. Le domaine comprend un magnifique terrain de golf, et nous avons bénéficié d’un bon de réduction de 25 € via Hotels.com. Pas de surclassement, mais un départ tardif accordé jusqu’à 13 h (même si la carte ne fonctionnait plus après midi).

Petit bémol : les portes qui claquent et le bruit dans les couloirs le matin.
Malgré cela, je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

Relación calidad precio exagerada. Puede que sea por la temporada de verano pero en otros hoteles de similares características se obtienen mejores servicios.
Para empezar llegamos por la noche al check in y nos ofrecieron una habitación sin vistas y al poco tiempo la cambiaron por otra con peores vistas aún, alegando que el hotel estaba completo a pesar que hice la reserva con antelación. Muy pocas amenities del baño, tuve que pedirlas en recepción a las 2 de la madrugada. El restaurante muy normal sin mucha variedad de platos ni creatividad para el precio y además cierran la cocina a las 10 (estando el restaurante dentro del hotel pudieran alargar más el horario especialmente en verano). En la reserva de hoteles.com se ofrecía 20% de descuento en comidas y spa, tampoco la aplicaron a pesar que dijeron que lo harían al check out. Tampoco hubo suficientes tumbonas en la piscina. Eso sí la atención de los camareros muy buena, especialmente la de Daniel.

Nous connaissions déjà cet hôtel et y sommes revenus avec plaisir. Cependant nous avons été déçu de certains services pour un 5 étoiles, room service inexistant, bar à la piscine beaucoup d attente, jus d orange pas pressé hors we. Nous avons réservé une nuit supplémentaire, la chambre n a pas été faite. Hôtel qui fonctionne au ralenti et compréhensible suite au Covid mais justement prenez soin des clients qui sont là. Je tiens à souligner mention spéciale pour le spa, supers massages.

Hôtel super tout est fait pour s’y sentir bien.
L’accueil la piscine la propreté on s’y sent bien .
Malheureusement le covid a eu raison du petit déjeuné qui était exceptionnel voir le meilleur d’Espagne . Ils ont réduit les quantités

Über dieses fantastische Hotel gibt es nicht viel zu erzählen, denn da stimmt nun wirklich alles. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort und haben uns gleich dafür entschieden bei Gelegenheit 1 Woche Relax-Urlaub zu verbringen. Die Lage, der Service und das wunderschöne große Zimmer Nr. 205 mit Balkon zum Pool hin, einzigartig. Auch das Restaurant vom Feinsten. Die Maßnahmen wegen Corona, hervorragend, für ein absolut sicheres Gefühl. Dieses Hotel können wir einfach nur weiterempfehlen. Top!
