Large enough room spotless clean, but very basic. No tissues in the bathroom, can't get a second key for the room - a little bizzard 🤔 Otherwise, we slept well and found the location is very central and the price was pretty low - good value.

This place was very serviceable and a typical Campanille, if you’re familiar with the brand.

Only really let down a bit by the breakfast. When I arrived at 8:45am, there were no cups, spoons, knives or forks. Also, there was no sign of any staff. They all showed up about 15mins later but it was a bit frustrating initially.
Also, one of the staff had a very runny nose and sniffed their way through replacing the cutlery and crockery which was a bit off putting. We all get colds and sometimes have to work through them but please, just blow your nose (and wash your hands!) before dealing with guests, especially when there’s food involved.

Everything went smoofhly for my 2-night stay. The staff was super helpful, and they either put up with my rusty French or switched to English. The convenience of the short distance to the train station was key for me, and being next to a park gave a nice respite. Room was clean and spacious. No fridge though, although for the price, no problem.

Limoges is beautiful and I would highly recommend to visit a Porcelain museum. There was a little misunderstanding about 2 extra pillows that I asked for my children, but this little detail didn’t really spoil our stay.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. On the first day of our 3 night stay my wife fell and required wheelchair access .The staff acquired a wheelchair prior to our return from hospital and made it available for the rest of our stay .
4 nights. Would recommend this property to anyone visiting Limoges as its convenient for both the historic area and shopping

Great stop over location on the way south. Easy to find and secure underground carpark which needs booking. Lovely people, very helpful. Very centrally located, all was within walking distance. Lots of choice for eating locally.
Room was good size.
Would definitely stay there again.

Sadly, Very Disappointing

The hotel is lovely, in a great location with newly refurbished rooms and friendly and helpful staff. HOWEVER, the water was lukewarm/cold and the heating could not be adjusted above a certain level so we had very brief cold showers and slept in a cold room on a wet and cold night in Limoges. Pretty miserable. We selected the hotel as we have an electric car and there is EV charging on site. We tried various things for about an hour but could not get it to work. I realise it is run by a third party (DriveCo) and we have contacted them but Campanile advertise it as a hotel facility so I think you should also contact the company. We did tell the receptionist and she was helpful but couldn’t suggest anything we hadn’t already tried. She did say that other guests had the same problem. For us, it meant that we wasted our rest time in Limoges and then had to stop earlier and for longer than planned on our drive the next day.
So, overall, very disappointing.

Requested extra blanket on arrival - was told there was one in room - there wasn't and when I told receptionist was informed I woudl have to buy one for E32. In fact I found there were free blankets in a linen cupboard and the chamber made gave me one. Seems to be across carpark from red light district - I was directed to restaurant that meant I had to pass the ladies concerned adn their gentlemen attendants.

A great touring base fro the week

A nice clean and modern hotel within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants with a nice secure underground car park. Great staff team, and a substantial choice at breakfast. We (5 of us) used it as a base to do day rides out on our motorcycles and we had a great week. Highly recommended hotel. Thanks for looking after us.

Very nice Campanile close to the center of Limoges

Great location, at walking distance from the Museum of Porcelain (don't miss it!!!), and just 5 minutes from the train station Benedictins wit hthe beautiful clock tower. You can park in front of the hotel for free, but we prefered to use the paid parking at only 8 EUR/night. Breakfast was really good!

Check-in was smooth and easy but the staff was not welcoming. We had a triple room which had a big comfortable double-bed and a sofa bed made up as a small single. We requested for a quiet room so we given one facing the courtyard. The sleep quality was excellent. Shower was powerful and had lots of hot water. The air-conditioning unit didn't seem to be working so we opened the window for ventilation. The best part of the hotel is the secure underground car-park. There are lots of spaces and we parked there until we were ready to leave for the airport in the afternoon the next day, even though we checked out at 11am. For 8 euros, this is excellent value. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. We went to Paul's just a few minutes' walk away at St Martial shopping centre.

Stayed before as very reasonably priced and situated within walking distance of the main town. This time we were left slightly disappointed as the hotel bar is very poorly stocked. They ran out of white wine on the first night of our stay and did not make an effort to replenish for the remainder of our stay. How on earth can a hotel in France run out of wine, and worse still not make an effort to go and buy more even if it was from a local shop.

Stayed for 4 nights in Limoges as we were house hunting in and around this region. The hotel is conveniently located to shops, bars and restaurants. Train station just a few hundred metres away. Parking at the hotel is available but as we were travelling much of the day we elected to park just outside or around the corner of the hotel as it was free.
Hotel was very clean, Room was a good size, Breakfast was excellent, staff really helpful and accommodating. Very economical place to stay.

Perfect place to stay

Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who directed us to our comfortable and clean room. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was very relaxed and provided us with a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The location was no more than a 15 minute walk to all the main areas which was perfect as there were no need for taxis to places but it was quiet meaning you could ensure you had a good nights sleep. I’d definitely recommend.

Great hotel with a lovely outdoor terrace and spacious reception area. Staff were very friendly and helpful, there is a Carrefour supermarket across the road and the centre of Limoges is only a 10 minute stroll away. The little \"shop\" in reception was handy too when arriving home late at night. My friends and I will definitely stay here again when returning to visit our friend.

Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms felt brand new and all the facilities were immaculate. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help. The location is great, with easy access to the town, park and train station. The underground car park is also a major bonus and very great value at only 8 euros The restaurant below is top quality if you like a good meat restaurant.

Couldn't have been more helpful and air conditioning was already cooling the room and we were able to check in a bit earlier as the room we had was ready when they checked for us . The restaurant next door that the hotel uses which you can access from the hotel was good value for money. The food was very good with attentive staff without being intrusive .

Our room was clean but there was a bit of strange smell from the bathroom. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, giving us good tips on the city's points of interest. Location of hotel was great, decent walking distance to the Cathedral and old town. Parking was easy too.
I would stay in this hotel again when I next return to Limoges.

I'm not sure why this is the highest rated hotel in Limoges on this site. The room we had was tiny, was not vacuumed, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Overall, it was under the standard of a Motel 6. The lobby is nice and the staff is nice, but if you're looking for a comfortable room or European charm, look elsewhere.

Les femmes de ménage devraient aérer abondamment les chambres lors de leur intervention de nettoyage. J'espère que ce point sera réglé lorsque je redescendrai dans cet hôtel.
