Très agréablement surprise de la qualité de l'accueil de cet hôtel. J'ai tout particulièrement apprécié la mise à disposition d'un chariot pour transporter les bagages, le côté très convivial de l'hôtel et la diversité de choix pour le petit déjeuner. Mon petit fils de 9 ans a également adoré.

This IBIS is in a good place but for some reason is not being run properly. It only had one member of front desk staff also doing bar and food service who seemed not to be used to customer service, especially being dressed in a hoody and cargo pants. There were no lights on so not welcoming at all. In the middle of the night ( 1am) guests turned up and were noisy next to our room, why were they not put away from everyone else?. We will sadly not return here for the price paid.

Good hotel

There was a discrepancy in the cost of an animal. Hotels.com site states an animal is €5 per night. But I was charged €10 for the night. When challenged, I was told €10 was correct and they would not give me the price quoted on Hotels.com. This discrepancy needs clarification. Good hotel. Given a downstairs room as requested. Room was very small, but well equipped.

Poor customer service, could be cleaner.

Stayed here as we were visiting Oradour sur Glane. Was feeling hopeful before arrival as we received an email saying our room was ready and we were invited to enjoy food and drink at the hotel.
On arrival the front desk agent was on the phone. Two other staff by embers could be heard laughing and chatting in back office. One came out and said hello but went back to office again. The girl that checked us in seemed quite timid. Conversation was minimal.
Room was ok, very hot. I was delighted to see we had a bath so after walking miles around France and Spain for the last month, thought I would treat myself to a bath. No plug however. My husband went down and spoke to all three staff members who discussed our request for a plug. One said she would bring one up in 10 mins. I sat half naked for forty minutes. Nobody came with a plug, or to say they couldn’t find one. Whilst sat waiting I found two fingernails on the floor down the side of the bed.
Anyway had a shower instead. Needed some water so my husband went down to see if any vending machines. Two of the staff members were sat having a drink together in bar. No mention of the plug and didn’t ask if he needed any help either.
Bedroom doors slam so if you get a neighbour like ours who likes to go in and out every five minutes after midnight you won’t get any sleep.
On check out I was faced with a young man, yawning and stretching who looked like he had just woken up.
Staff have no interest here. Definitely would not return

Water torture with no sleep!

The worst night ever, the airconditioning unit was leaking water and we tried everything to stop the constant dripping of water, it was like water torture.
The carpet was soaking wet, we got no sleep at all and we still had another 250 miles to drive the following morning!
Never again Ibis, it was shocking, to top it all the receptionist just was not bothered in the slightest, we were told it would be reported to 'maintenance', thanks for nothing is all I have to say.
Back to Premierre Classe for us, no way are we 'upgarding' again!!!

Pas de brosse pour les WC, gênant !
Le décor de la moquette laisse croire que celle-ci est sale, comme des traces de chaussures maculées de cambouis.
Le lit est très confortable.
L’accueil est sympathique.
Je suppose que le prix a été réduit par la panne de la climatisation, mais le petit déjeuner reste cher (11 euros) par rapport à celui de Ibis budget (6,50 euros) qui est aussi bien.

Un bon séjour, mais problème de clim

J'ai passé un bon séjour dans l'ensemble. Cependant, je suis déçu que la clim est tombée en panne. Surtout qu'il faisait chaud ce vendredi et j'ai du dormir avec la fenêtre ouverte. Je m'attendais à ce qu'elle aurait été réparée rapidement.
Je reconnais que la chambre était propre avec un lit très confortable. Le personnel de l'établissement est très accueillant et j'ai été satisfait du petit-déjeuner.

Our check in was perfect. We asked for extra towels and they were supplied. The room was small but clean and functional. We asked for a recommendation for dinner and the restaurant two doors over was very good. Breakfast was disappointing, mostly because other guests were touching a lot of food with their hands, not using utensils, so we did not eat much other than juice, coffee, and freshly served muffins.

We have stayed at Ibis Limoges quite a few times and always have good service.
Rooms comfortable and clean and buffet breakfast good.
The bar area pleasant and although there is not a full menu they are happy to do you snack meals in the bar but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. We have our dog with us and they are ok with her being in the hotel.Will certainly stay again.

Ibis Nord, tres bon.

Typical Ibis hotel. Clean, bed comfortable as usual, liked the suitcase trestle and recently decorated with new design carpet and curtain.
Easy access from parking area to hotel reception. Staff pleasant and spoke english, but respected our wish to speak french. Very apologetic about the lift being out of order due to continued refurbishments.
Plenty of restaurants locally, but depends which type you like.
Plenty of free parking in a large flat area behind the hotel.
Situated near the motorway, but not disturbed by any noise.
Ideal for our needs and when we need to stay in Limoges again, we will use Ibis Nord.

This is the first hotel in 6 years of travelling in France that has actually been clean, comfortable and quiet, and the staff made you feel that they actually gave a damned, which is something we just don't usually encounter.

We will definately be staying there again, and would gladly recommend to friends.

We booked a quiet no smoking room as a stop over on our way South. We were offered exactly that. The room was clean and the service was friendly and efficient. The hotel is easy to find and whilst based in an industrial estate, there were plenty of places to eat and the main rod network only 2 minutes from the hotel.

Great for a stopover

We stayed here on our way east. The hotel is easy to find. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Breakfast is good for €9. Staff were lovely. Not suitable for vacation really but good for a stopover as is located in an industrial estate.

Néanmoins étant arrivés à 2 heures du matin, nous sommes assez déçus du réveil que nous avons eu.
La femme de ménage a tambouriné à notre chambre à 8h15, ouvert notre porte , puis est repartie sans même une excuse …

Nous pouvons tous faire une erreur, mon collègue et mois devions rester deux jours, et nous avons réservé pour ma part deux nuits, et mon collègue a réservé deux nuits pour lui et deux nuits pour moi.... Nous avons demandé a annulé a notre arrivée la chambre en trop. Impossible la règle c'est la règle ! on a même payé le petit déjeuner de la chambre vide .... Aucun geste commercial même avec notre carte accord, même avec une nuit par semaine au minimum dans le groupe ! Honteux, et pour la charge de la voiture, la demoiselle nous à dis d'aller dans un autre hotel, ou sur une aire de repos plus loin

Nous sommes déçus du petit déjeuner, que l'on arrive à 7h30 ou 9h il est normal d'avoir les mêmes produits ( absence de viennoiserie)
Nous avons demandé mais en vain alors que nous avons attendu un quart d'heure. Le prix est le même pour tout le monde !!
Manque de diversité pour le pain.

J’ai récupéré une chambre assez petite, avec une odeur de remonté d’égout pas très sympathique.
L’hôtel est un peu vieillot avec des taches au miroirs et sur le bureau.
Le repas du soir était pas terrible : le poisson très sec et des frites pas terrible.
Par contre le petit dej est très varié avec de bons produits.
Le personnel est sympathique et professionnel.

Au vue du tarif, je ne conseille pas.

Hôtel conforme aux standards de la chaîne. Jusqu'à présent je n'ai jamais été déçu, alors difficile pour moi d'être objectif. Pourquoi changer quand on est bien ? Au risque justement d'être déçu. Je resterai donc fidèle aux IBIS Style. Les chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses, correctement équipées. Le buffet est copieux et varié. L'insonorisation est bonne même à LIMOGES ou la proximité de l'autoroute pourrait inquiéter. Il n'en est rien. Il y a même le programme eco responsable. A ce jour je n'ai donc aucune réserve ou critique à formuler. Ces hôtels me conviennent parfaitement tant au niveau qualité que prix et prestations.
