Bathroom had a sewer smell, and the room smelled of either paint or new materials but we were so tired from a very long drive, we still crashed in it. We had to keep the window open through the night. We wanted to use the parking but it is strictly by reservation and we did not remember seeing either the option or the notification to do so on Expedia at booking time. Personnel was pleasant and breakfast offering was on par with a Best Western brand.

The parking is tight and requires turning around of the car in an area that have maybe 10 inch in front and 10 inches in the back. It took close to 20 min to turn the car 180 degrees to be able to park

Clean comfortable stay

Overall a nice stay, room is clean and comfortable and the staff are lovely, really polite and helpful. It's only lost a star for me because the gym isn't really a gym, it's a treadmill and cross trainer in reception but the treadmill wasn't even working during my stay. Also it would have been helpful for the hotel to provide instructions on where the parking is as I struggled to locate it, and this made arrival to the hotel a little stressful.

The room had neither been checked nor cleaned sufficiently prior to our stay. The shower area was dirty, old black soap deposits were all too evident. We asked for towels. The previous occupants rubbish was in the room's bin. The Nespresso was thick with dust. There was plenty to like but the aforementioned points were pronounced flaws. We did not take breakfast.

A lovely hotel. Sorry we didn't get the name of the lady on reception of our arrival because she was so helpful and her english was good and tried to encourage me to try my french. Close to the old quarter. Room was a good size maybe put breakfast tea in the tray as well as flavoured tea.

At the night when we arrived, the staff told us to park the car in front. Next day when we waked up, found another staff member already called the police to tow our car away. It wasted our time and money. Meanwhile, the vent in the room didn’t work and we smiled the smoke all night. My kids hated it.

Perfect for central Limoges

A really convenient and comfortable place to stay if you are visiting central Limoges. All the staff are professional, efficient and friendly. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Parking is availabe at a charge in the hotel garage, but make sure you book in advance as space is limited. All the places of interest in central Limoges are withing walking distance, as are plenty of restaurants.

Stayed here for a week, as I had meetings in Limoges. Outside of the hotel isn't too pretty, but the inside is much better. Spent a comfortable week here and considering it was 34degC in Limoges that week the AC in the room was much needed. The AC was one of the best I'd experienced in a hotel. Very quite, controllable and the hotel didn't throttle it back. Shower wasn't so great, but I didn't want to move rooms in case the AC was as good in another room. Staff was well trained and professional. Hotel was actually very welled staffed. For a hotel this size, most hotels would have had only one person on the desk, they had three. Well Done!

The staff at this property are fantastic! Kind, welcoming - everything you could ask for. The room was nicely furnished, clean and bed was very comfortable. This Limoges hotel didn't really look much from the outside - located in a bit of a dingy street, with virtually just an awning to distinguish it, but inside the reception area was light and bright(ish), and the male receptionist was very friendly and helpful. He checked us in quickly and we went to our rooms. Very friendly service.

Very clean room with a modern bathroom. Room is a bit small but we were only there one night so wasn't an issue. Very friendly and helpful staff on the front desk. Took us a while to find a parking space on the streets outside the hotel as was a Saturday night and as we had a large van. Good location, about 5-10 mins walk to bars and restaurants. Overall, excellent value for money. Would recommend and stay there again.

Hotel fine but Limoges was closed!

We were on a road trip from the UK to Portugal but wanted to visit Oradour Sue Glane WWII historic site and Limoges was the nearest town so we wanted functional rather than fancy. The hotel was fine. Easy free parking right outside, hotel staff friendly and helpful and room perfectly adequate although the condition overall was a little tired, but I’d easily stay there again. It was a Sunday and the town was extremely quiet, missing only an occasional roll of tumbleweed!! We were getting quite desperate to find a restaurant come the evening which we eventually did. Hotel was reasonable value though.

This hotel is Limoges' best kept secret. We loved it. The location was great. The staff was wonderful especially Carol at reception, and the hotel room was lovely, very clean and super comfortable. It also had secure off the street parking for a very reasonable rate. If we were in Limoges again, we would definitely stay here!! I have no hesitation in recommending it.

A last minute decision to go to Limoges. We were delighted with this hotel, everything was excellent, from dealing with staff at reception, to the little present of chocolate eggs on the bed to the room itself. The location is a very convenient ten minutes walk to the old town. There's a small car park at the hotel, which seemed to have a limited number of spaces. Had it been full it would have added a bit of hassle factor, that's the only negative.

This is a good hotel for a business stay, a little old fashioned, but I was only there for one night. The plug in the bathroom had broken, so it was very difficult to have a wash or a shave! I did mention this to the hotel staff, but I am not sure that they did anything about it.

Breakfast was okay, not great, but it was a hot breakfast, and not the usual croissant and coffee!

A good location for walking the city

We wanted a place convenient to the city sights and the porcelain shops and this hotel was good for that.
I wasn't thrilled with the room because it was cramped and the view was in the back where we could see only the parking lot and some apartments. Also, they did not want you to bring food into the room unless it came from a limited menu from the hotel. This might be a problem if you have young children. The hotel has limited parking in front, but it was worth it to pay the extra 10 euros a night and have the car in a secure place. They even washed our windshield and left a note saying who in the staff did it! That was very nice!

Don't be put off by the front of this hotel....inside it is seriously stylish! The staff were fabulous and couldn't do enough to help. The only problem is parking but at least out on the road it's free. Out of the 8 hotels we've stayed in over the past two weeks this one was BY FAR our favourite.....We would definitely stay again!

This is definitely a hotel for Americans. A king bed, large flat screen TV, large tub/shower with overhead showerhead. Not a complaint. Very convenient to sightseeing. Halfway between Cathedrale St. Etienne and Musee National de la Porcelaine Adrian Doubruche. Very convenient to grocery store and laundromat. Buildings close by were a little sketchy with street people hanging around, but no begging.

The only disappointment was that we left our new travel flask in the room and no one has contacted us to say we had left it there? we will be traveling back on the 1st of October past Limoges and would like to know what's happened to it.

Definitely would recommend. Best to request parking early but in street is still free and quite safe. Plenty of eateries in easy wsliking distance, less than 9 minutes.

The room was excellent. En suite had a great walk in shower. Reception were delightful. Breakfast was a real surprise, full continental plus eggs, bacon and sausage were available. Garage (10 euro) was fine - and they cleaned my fly splattered windscreen!
