The onsite parking was really useful. Despite being right next to the train station it was quiet enough to sleep with the window open.

great quality for the price

This hotel offers really good qualities for the price. Of course, since it is facing the train station, you have beautiful views of this superbe building, but also the whistles of trains. If very sensitive to that noise, be sure to have ear plugs and it is not a problem. I was OK and would come again to this hotel. The service was excellent, the restaurant also.

The service was great. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable the pillows were good. The parking felt safe and the area. The restaurant
around the corner had the most amazing steak. Good recommendation from the clerk at the front desk. The only complaints are was the restaurant was closed for no good reason and the air-conditioning didn't work very good.

Nice and quiet but breakfast basic for the price.

Lovely quiet room , apart from guests slamming doors from 6.30am onwards. All friendly staff except for the night porter. Lift out of action for majority of 4 day stay, making it very difficult for elderly guests climbing up around 80 steps to the 3rd floor.Breakfast is basic, only fruit for vegans or maybe cereal, yoghurt for vegetarians. There is bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs and apart from croissants , pain de chocolate and fruit salad, that's all. Maybe some vegan sausages and beans , tomatoes would be a good option? Nice coffee though. Very expensive €13.90 for breakfast for such little choice. Nice quiet and clean breakfast area though. I did love the shutters in bedroom to cut out daylight. Near to station but no noise from it. I would definitely stay again though.

Great hotel with good restaurant. Convenient for rail station and bus.
Comfortable rooms with a bottle of water each day.
Restaurant is busy and so a little patience needed at times as the staff there work their socks off keeping up but it’s worth it as the food and wine is good and the chef knows what he or she’s doing for sure.

Nice hotel and great room, but would be nice if we had tea/coffee making gear - was a rarity in France but now some are catching up. Excellent meal in restaurant. Only criticism, but one sufficient to give a thumbs down on hygiene, was an awful stench in the lifts: maybe sewage is leaching into the base of the shafts.

Fantastic! It was our first visit to Limoges. The
hotel location was very convenient, right next to the train station (could barely hear any noise from the trains and our room was facing the tracks) and walking distance to many tourist attractions. A fabulous restaurant, with a friendly service staff. The very best value my wife and I have had in twenty years!!!

Great for Limoges train station in walking distance about 150 metres away. It’s about a 15 min walk to old town. It has a under ground car park 5 euros a night safe and secure. The main gripe we had is we booked because of the advertised fact of air con but you are unable to turn it down past 22 which in my opinion is more of a heat setting than a cold room, considering it was plus 32 when we stayed a little bit poor and for the restaurant there air con was non existing so we when over the road for a great evening meal.

We were traveling south and needed a place for a night stop and as we knew the town from a previous visit we opted for this central hotel. The hotel is being re-decorated and there is a smell of paint in some of the public areas however our 2nd floor room was very smart and smell free. The room was good size and very comfortable.
The rail station was very close but we had no problem with noise in fact the room was really quiet.
Breakfast was very much as you would expect, well presented and plentiful.
The secure underground car park cost an few extra Euros but was well worth if as it was raining when we arrived. Unloaded under cover and took the elevator direct to our floor.
The hotel has a system which switches the lights on and off in the corridors... good for energy saving but does feel a little strange.
This hotel is a little quirky but I would not hesitate to use it again

Convenient to station

On hotels.com it stated the room had coffee making - and a room safe - for my selected room type. Neither applied and were important to me. I was told by staff that there was no safe facility at reception, that only some of the rooms had safes but that the room was safe in itself ... so I had to hide my things in the room. Having had my purse and many of my cards/cash stolen earlier in the trip (in Paris) I was nervous about security. Regarding the coffee making, the receptionist said that because it was clearly showing on your website (she checked with her manager), they would bring coffee to my room free of charge. This was great and much appreciated. 5/5 for doing that. The location near the Gare de Limoges was good for short stays though it was a bit convoluted as to how to get to the hotel. Once you knew it, it was easy. Streets in the general area were a bit dirty, but the hotel was clean. A fridge in the room would have been good, but was not one of the amenities unfortunately. There is a Lidl supermarket not far from the hotel. TV has no English speaking channels. Overall, though, fine for the cost and service.

Okay...

On the surface not a bad hotel. However, the bed sheets in our room hadn't been changed - there were crumbs and stains on the main sheet. The toilet room had an unmistakable smell of pee! On the bright side, the ladies at reception were very helpful and accommodating.

We attempted to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel. Upon entering it smelled of cigarette smoke. We were shown to a table and then left for more than 15 minutes without anyone asking if we'd like a drink etc. if it'd been busy then no problem, however we were the only guests!!

In summary, if you can find something else, then I suggest you stay elsewhere.

We could see it easily from the station, not sure if there was an easier way to get there but we ended up dragging luggage across a main road, down some stairs then had to find our way from a back street to the front of the hotel.

Super city centre hotel for a city break.

The hotel looks over the railway station and carpark the rooms were super- quiet no noise from trains/traffic. The open aspect meant we had great sunsets and view of the pretty station. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are a good continental selection of bread pastries fruits etc with fresh ham eggs and cheese. Coffee from the machine was excellent but take a travel kettle if you want tea etc in your room. We ate in the attached Relais de Limousin every night as the food was delicious. We recommend the salmon salad, the prawn risotto and the pasta. Desserts are huge ( we shared) and the Ile Flottante/Norwegian Omelette were fabulous.The Relais is popular with locals too which was always a good sign.The only slight grizzle is that in twin rooms the single beds are right next to each others so you sleep nose to nose!However the beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp cotton bed linen.Limoges is well worth a city break stay and is small enough to be explored on foot.Do take the little train from Tourist Information for a great overview of the city.Also the house of the Butcher which is a historic house with free guide to Limoges in English. Avoid the Ramboutard ceramics factory shop where prices were eye-watering even for seconds though the Museum of ceramics is excellent.

Great Place in Limoges!

I stayed one night at the Inter- Hotel Atrium. Hotel was so convenient to the Limoges Rail Station, right across the street. Bus station was also right in the area too. I wanted to go from Limoges to Oradour Sur Glane,and this hotel was exactly what I wanted. Room was great and modern. Flat screen TV with a comfortable bed. Desk staff all spoke english. This place would make any foreign traveler glad they chose the Hotel Atrium.

Parking, Trains, Great Towels, Best Hamburger EVER

The hotel was tough to find with our GPS - we could see it but not get there - so it took a little exploring but worth it in the end. It is basically 'under' the train station and GPS takes one to the station itself. Parking inside the underground garage was safe but spots were a little tight. It is less expensive and much safer than parking in the outside public lots so well worth the effort. The staff was extremely helpful. It was only about a 10 minute walk to explore the old sections of the city - fun adventure. The towels were the very best of the 6 nights we spent in hotels this trip - finally! There are few dining options close by but the hotel's restaurant worked well for us. BTW, the Blue Hamburger was absolutely fantastic! I do recommend one ask for a room not facing the train tracks. Despite a relatively quiet stay, in the AM we could hear the trains being announced with the windows open to gain fresh air. Also, we were there on a Sunday - all shops and most restaurants are closed - plan accordingly.

Limoges Hotel Close to Train Station

The lobby is small and the restaurant/bar has strange hours so you will need to walk back to the train station or in town to get something to eat or drink. The room was on the front of the building which from the outside looks very nice but the rooms split these windows thus placed to the edge of the wall which does not let in much light. I would not recommend the 12 euro breakfast which does not have much selection and what they have is poor quality.

A pleasant surprise

Located no more than a 2 minute walk from the train station, I was out both mornings before 7, so did not really use the hotel for more than a bed. The room was very good, safe deposit on hand. Toilet was not in the bathroom, very unusual, but wonderful if there are 2 of you and one is in the shower Would not hesitate to use the hotel again if I were in Limoges.

Clean room, comfortable beds, however room was small. Hotel staff spoke good English but restaurant staff did not. Restaurant also did not offer menu's in English but between the little French we spoke and little English the waiter spoke we managed ok. Close to train station. Our room was facing train tracks. Difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper since trains run all night. Even with the windows closed I could hear the trains. Also, after a train arrived you could hear a female voice making an announcement at the train station. Hotel is not easy to find but easy to see from the train station. Once you find the hotel, there is easy access to the hotel if you have a car since the road in front of the hotel is not very busy. Hotel did not show on GPS. There are several Inter-Hotels so you must look for Atrium. We Wanted to walk from the hotel but there was so much dog pooh on the path we decided to drive. Hotel is close to old center Limoges and Royal Limoges is just down the street next to a McDonalds.

OK for one night!

Whilst conveniently located close to the centre of Limoges, the Inter Atrium looks rather tired, and whilst the hotel was very quiet over the Saturday night we stayed, we were given a small room to the rear, overlooking a derelict car park, whereas there appeared to be larger rooms to the front of the hotel, with a slightly better aspect.
Breakfast was 'help yourself' and rather disappointing, with tasteless coffee from a machine. The restaurant menu was rather uninspiring, unless you wanted to spend a fortune on a 'plat de fruits de mer', and as it was deserted at 7.15 in the evening we chose to go out to eat.
We were only staying one night whilst passing through, so the hotel was fine for our needs, however we were pleased not to be staying any longer.

Inter Hotel Atrium - very well placed

We stayed here for 1 night in July as a mid point stop driving up through France. We booked online and did not have very high expecations as many hotels that are close to Train Stations tend to suffer from the locations. We were very surprised by the rooms, restaurant and staff at the hotel. I would have no hesitation in going back and recomending it to others. The hotel is also within a very short walking distance to the old centre of Limoges.

La réservation s'est bien passée, le personnel est sympathique et disponible.
Je n'ai pas eu l occasion de tester le restaurant de l'hôtel mais l'offre me semble plutôt interessante.
J'ai eu une crainte car l'hôtel est juste devant la gare de Limoges mais les fenêtres sont plutôt bien insonorisées, je n'ai rien entendu...
Donc c'est plutôt un bon point.
L'hôtel dispose d'un parking sous terrain sécurisé mais les places sont limitées.

Personnel très agréable et à l'écoute.
La literie est vraiment excellente et chambre propre. La salle de bain et le toilettes aurait peut-être besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement.
Petit déjeuner appréciable ( manque d'un peu plus de fruits)
L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter la ville , nous y avons passé qu'une nuit mais nous y reviendrons.
