They didn’t clean the room. Didn’t change my sheets. Would whip down the sink and took out the trash. Left the bed with dirty sheets. I even requested my room clean and that’s what they did. If you like dirty sheets and your bed not made and not clean towels and no soap. This is your place.

A great value for anyone looking for a quiet no frills place to stay at a decent price. Location is convenient and quiet yet not in the center of town but stores and food just a quick walk away. The staff is always accommodating even on short notice. I appreciate the help I was given in a last min change of plans. The housekeeping is beyond sweet,front desk day staff and specifically night audit Derrick are also amazing

But I have to say if been it more newer motels and not convenient at all NO MICROWAVE NO FRIDGE NO CONVENIENCE AT OTHER MOTELS HIGHER PRICES BAD EXPERIENCES
but this place I must say COMFORT 100 percent
For the price I will most definitely stay again

I moved around to 3 different rooms to try and find one with cable that worked, finally found a room with a TV that i could sign into netflix on and that room had a non working exhaust fan, most channels like TNT, paramount, usa, tru tv etc didnt work. When it was time to shower i found out that the shower wasnt working right and only had scalding hot water. There were no hand towels and the poor maintenance guy that was absolutely a GREAT guy was so busy he wasnt at the front counter. Within the first 30 minutes of being there i asked the owner for a refund and she refused. Expedia advertised that rooms were fully refundable which is a lie, i booked the room that afternoon at about 1:15 or so, checked in around 5ish and found out how bad the rooms were and could not get a refund!! I even paid the $9 room insurance fee which didnt help either. This hotel is terribly run down and an absolute mess, i would have been better off sleeping in my van.

They don’t change bedsheets between guests. I found dirt and grime in my bed. Also the water is so cold and I could not take a shower. Smells like bleach or cleaning solution the whole night. Sketchy people live here when they are homeless

This was the worst experience I have had in a motel possible ever.Not only did they refuse to bring any supplies, they did not pick up the trash except once. It was noisy, and appeared to be taken over by cartels.
The time before a very obese Hispanic said she could not find my reservation even thpigh BANK OF AMERICA SHOWED IT PAID
Her cartel.sounding boyfriend nasty.
Them she gets the owner on the phone, they act hysterical, and cancelled, probably caving to these cartels. IT WAS DEPLORABLE MOTEL, SERVICE, AND I WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE TO STAY CLEAR OF THEM. PLUS IT WAS INFESTED.

Roaches in the rooms, smell of sewage in all the rooms, people smoking pot in the parking lots, un-washed dirty bedding. There was another couple at the fron desk arguing they had been moved 3x already and every room had roaches and dirty beds. Do not stay here. The other reviews of this place being clean are fake! Check on google maps.

They will not allow you to speak to any manager yet everyone can give a answer but when I ask there is no manager for a couple of months
They are rude cut you off while speaking; blame hotels.com and hotels.com blames them etc
They lie to cover one another and when I point out recorded conversations of the lie they tell me “I don’t have to tell you anything \"
They are unhelpful and do not want to help anyone be she said they need to make money even though I purchased additional insurance for my stay

I booked my room at 11:54 p.m. on November 12th 2025 I have to check in just after midnight, do the security issue a different department had to handle the issue at hand which prevented me from checking in which ultimately came from hotels.com I was informed somebody would reach out to me within an hour nobody reached to me and I didn't get into my room until 3:43 in the morning and yet nobody from hotels.com has reached out to me they originally told me they were going to reach out to me to verify the identity and the credentials to my debit card they didn't reach out and instead authorized the charge rather than utilizing the security system like my account for a second step verification and yet it didn't happen

The door didn’t feel safe. I wasn’t sure I was locked in and the tub had some hair in it and the microwave wasn’t clean. It didn’t feel like it was in a safe neighborhood and the door inside the hotel that was adjoining another room wasn’t clear if it was locked I just didn’t feel very safe.

First of all the pictures do not show what this place actually is, I don’t really rate much but this hotel was the worse stay I’ve ever had, first of all there was some shady people their, looks like they were selling some substance there, bunch of homeless around and looked like there are people living in some of the rooms, the rooms were absolutely dirty, smelly and grimy, tv did not work, Fridge did not work, there was no shampoo or body wash in the restroom and since I was staying there two days I let the staff know that I needed room service and all the items that weren’t working so they said they were going to send the technician to solve all the problems but when I got back later that day absolutely nothing was done not even the room service which was absolutely frustrating not only that but the Wi-Fi is basically useless because it constantly looses signal this was just my experience so I would highly recommend you not to stay here if you enjoy a good night sleep.

A lot of dirty things going on. One guy smoking and drinking outside his room, one guy at 6am polishing his car, an old van being worked on in the parking lot. Junk vehicles parked in front. Dirty Dirty, tv wasn’t working, no soap in the shower, and no towels in the room. The room wasn’t ready for us to check I.

Everything about that Hotel is terrible. People loitering outside the building are scary looking, they should hire security people to make sure the guests are safe. The looks won't lock and the shower heads are hard to operate. The air conditioning will stop after an hour so it gets hot in the middle of the night.

Complete Disaster!!

Room 111 had a leak underneath the sink and all around the toilet. When I walked out the door it wouldn’t lock and I could push the door open so I informed the front desk and they moved us to the next room 112. We again had to walk over to the front desk because the Tv wouldn’t turn on but was informed it was missing an hdmi cord. Then we noticed we couldn’t put the volume up or down or turn off theTV so we just manually turned off the TV & called it a night. There was also no soap in the room luckily I had brought my own. Around 4:30am I woke up to a flooded room! I threw towels on the floor to contain the water from spreading. There’s also no phone in the RM for emergencies so we just packed and at 7am we checked out & I was told Room 111, our RM 112 & 114 had flooded and they were waiting to hear from room 113. Book elsewhere!!

The staff member was helpful in getting us a room after being told my reservation for a king bed was no longer available. I think she provided us with a room that was in dire need of updating. The establishment itself needs a lot of updating to be done both inside & outside. It was a holiday weekend & all the places we looked up in the nearby towns were unavailable.

Horrible.... We went to our room and turned around to ask for a refund. This hotel has long term residence, not corporate. They were hanging over the railings, drinking in the parking lot and hallways. The parking lot was full. We felt very unsafe.

1st - got my key card (room was on the front side) & there was a black man on the 2nd bed & it smelled heavy of cigarette smoke (which is suppose to be smoke-free) A homeless man’s bike was right outside the door. They stated that the homeless have a habit of gaining access to he rooms.
2- the clerk took me to the 2nd room (on the backside) as we were walking to the room there were cigarette butts all over the place, a big woman had her door ajar (which is never a good sign). Upon entry I noticed the floor had not been swept and the linen was stained & very dirty. There no way I was going to stay there. I was able to get my money returned so that was a plus but I can believe this place passes for people to be able to stay here. A lot of changes need to be made & this could be a PRIME place to stay. Red Roof Inn surprised me w/ what use to be a prestigious hotel is a dump. Many families might try to get a room here. I’d hate for lil kids to see what this place represents.if I was you I’d look somewhere else.

The room I had was uninhabitable. The stench was unbearable. There were no screens on the window, dogs barking, couples screaming all night. Actually left and booked at the Radison. Paid for two nights at the Red Roof but was happy to lose that money. WORST MOTEL EVER!!!!

The first day of checked in,we found the bath tub was clogged and the towel rack was broken, The hotel did not supply enough hand towels,face towels and bath mat .We stayed 5 nights and we have to remind the front desk everyday to send somebody to fix the bath tub until the 4th day of stay,maintenance guy came in to fix the bath tub but unfortunately cannot fix the bath rack.This was a very bad experiences staying at Red Roof Inn,Lompoc

Visiting Solvang and Santa Barbara and saving money was the goal. So I booked a room. Room was decent. Older furniture. Not the best looking room either. Had to ask for towels. Lompoc is a dead city with absolutely nothing to do there. If you’re visiting Solvang or any other surrounding city for vacation…then I would recommend this place.

The room was not supplied with body towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and a floor towel. For a two person stay, I asked management for towels. Management only provided two body towels and one wash cloth. The door lock to the room was difficult to operate. A good working door lock is assumed for a hotel stay. For a chilly night there was only one blanket per bed, no extras. Lastly, the shower basically only provided hot water, too hot. My next time in Lompoc, I will not stay Red Roof Inn.

The staff person at check-in was very friendly, but it was downhill after that. The walls are very thin, so we were able to hear our neighbor's conversations, when they used the water, used the hair dryer, and so on. Despite being in the back of the building, street noise was also noticeable. Our neighbor apparently stayed up all night, and we had to repeatedly let them know that they were playing their music too loud (it more than drowned out the tv in our room). They also had people coming and going throughout the night, slamming the door each time someone came or went.

We checked out after 7am, but there was no one at the front desk. There was a bell to ring, but no one responded to it. There was also a phone number to call, but when called, it rang a number of times and disconnected. We had to simply leave the key in the room.

This is not a place we will stay at again.

Worse hotel we have ever stayed. The room was not clean, looks like they just came in to change the sheet and left and they were not even made properly. They gave us one towel for two guests, not even one hand towel and one bath towel, no jus one towel for two and it did not look clean. Shower did not look clean. Extremally noisy, there was loud music playing at midnight. To not mentioned someone tried to open our door around 12:30 – 1:00 am. We were not given the room we booked. Overall, hotel look nothing like the pictures.
