Parking was find, if there was a laundry room we didn't use. Only real complaints were bed was very hard and there was some loud spring noise every time you moved on the bed. No working fan in the bathroom.

DONT! We toured from LA to San Fransisco and back, 15 hotels, no more than 2 nights in any. I booked this in front for a rest after LA, from aerial view it appears near the sea, i just didnt notice the mountain range so it isnt. Star gaze capital and near an Airforce base so woken at 2 AM with the ground shaking as a rocket had landed.
The room was in a dire Motel, next to a busy intersection with a gas station so plenty of traffic revving, luckily the window is single glazed and the door has light coming under so you hear it all. No worries as there is little chance of sleep as the neighbours are constantly on the move with furniture being dragged at all hours? I loved the Harley with no muffler parking up, for a second we believed it was another rocket, the owner appeared to be rough and un approachable, so we didnt, Karma helped as it wouldnt start at 10PM so he stayed next door with his mates and drank much beer, yes i heard it all through the walls.
No smoking signs are a joke, the flooring had cigarette burns and another neighbour smoked some sort of log outside a lot, the smoke infiltrates the A/C unit so room is lovely and stinky, maybe it kept flies at bay?? he then stubbed it out and put the nubs in a big plant pot in case they were needed again, a very large pot. Flooring was mopped but this did not fill the cracks? The smoke alarm was missing, i could tell as there was a shadow where it was with a socket with wires taped up. Shower worked with hot water, yipee.

Lotus was good for a short 2 night stay. Clean with hot water and good sleeping matress and pillows. Worth the $92 deal on Hotels.com. We visited Solvang and the 16 mile drive was so scenic that I didn’t mind the distance.

A/C in room didn't work, bed skirt was ripped, they used a regular sheet instead of fitted for the bed cover and didn't tuck it in. Super lumpy pillows, and the CREAKIEST beds I've ever slept in outside of maybe an air mattress. I worried about waking the person in the other double bed just by shifting in mine.

I was very happy to leave the next morning. It's fine if you need a cheap place to lay your head at night, but I'd put in more money for a nicer place if I could go back and do it again.

They didnt have any shampoo, soap, 2 towels for 2 nights for 3 people, went to the office to ask for blankets rang the bell and no one answered had to go to the the room to call staff over the phone.
Probably not staying there again.

Convenient location with easy check-in and check-out. The room was clean and tidy on arrival. There was a small crack in the sink and the toilet pressure was weak, but nothing major.

The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. I also noticed an ant on me at one point, though I’m not sure where it came from. The walls were thin—I could hear neighbors talking and running water. There was also a noticeable gap between the door and frame, which felt a bit concerning but manageable.

Parking was a plus—I could see my car from the room. Overall, it worked for a last-minute stay, but I likely wouldn’t stay again.

If you want a quiet room don't stay on the garage side as the traffic is really loud.
The hotel also says breakfast is included but there is no breakfast as they stopped doing it after COVID. The bed was quite old and creaked every time we sat on it or rolled over. The water in the shower was also quite cold.
The location is ok as you can walk to the town which was nice. The man on reception was nice but I'm not sure we would stay again.

The staff are so nice! Air conditioner is noisy but works really well. The property is not much to look at from the outside as far as being fancy or not, although the lights make it look festive. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds and pillows are perfect. I’ve stayed here many times. It’s great for adults traveling without small children. The walls are a little thin and there’s a lot of noise from the gas station next door, so I always request a room at the back of the property.

Hotel Review – Hotel on Lotus of Lompoc (Oct 24–25):
We stayed one night at the Hotel on Lotus of Lompoc – A Great Hospitality Inn and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It’s a convenient and budget-friendly place to stay for a short trip.
The only minor issue we had was the lack of easily accessible power outlets near the bed. There was one socket, but unfortunately the plug wouldn’t stay in securely, which made it difficult to charge our devices overnight. Aside from that, everything was fine.
We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and would consider staying here again in the future.

The place is out dated bed , pillows and sheets were old. Pillows were small and lumpy. Sheets were so old you could see through them. They are so gettho and unprofessional. They wanted to change my toilet out at 5:30 in the evening for an hour. And didnt want to switch me into another room. He told me I could leave and never come back if i didnt like it. They wanted me to sit in there while they dragged a toilet out of my room. How nasty is that. At 5:30 in the evening. And told me if I wanted to move rooms i would have to pay for another room. The room smelled bad.Homeless and drug addicts loiter around the store right next door. So there always in parking lot looking in cars.And they do shady stuff at night at there little side window. I locked myself out of my room one night and when I got to window to get there was there maintenance man with a young lady under the influence of something getting a room with cash. If you have kids or want a decent room DONT NOT GO THERE! There customer service is cut throat there quality of service is just as bad as the room. The pictures on the internet look nothing you that place is New Jack City.

The only 2 issues we had were: The motel has no ice machine. The other issue was the guest next door to our room, spoke loudly after midnight for several hours. Not directly the fault of the motel, but still very frustrating.

Not a great experience!

This was my least favorite of all my hotel experiences. The bed was like sleeping on cardboard. There were no outlets anywhere near the bed. Had to plug phone in the bathroom. They had little tiny bars of soap that would not even set up. It was like trying to wash your hands with wax. There was not even a soap dish to put it in.
The towels were very small and thin. Someone lit a fire outside behind the hotel, for what reason I don’t know. The smoke came into the room because there was no real seal around the door. At first, I thought possibly the room was on fire. This happened right when I was about ready to fall asleep. The shower was tiny with a shower curtain that you could not avoid hitting your body while showering.
The chairs were old and thread bare.

holes in the first room, I was given, in the tile floor by the toilet and shower. This would’ve hurt my feet and potentially caused an injury. And the hairdryer did not have any settings and the control was broken and to turn on and off one would simply need to plug in the hairdryer to the wall. Which could be dangerous if someone is having wet hands or hair that accidentally gets triggered when trying to plug it in. In the second room, there were no outlets to charge my phone except in the bathroom and in the far corner under the clothing rack. So no way to use computer or phone if needing a charge in the bedroom/table area.

One odd thing though, when checking in there is a side window that you ring the bell for. The window door opened and a man took my card and i.d. Who wrote those positive reviews?

When I arrived I was given the room next to the office and a noisy gas station. When I asked about moving to a different room, I was told the motel was sold out and it was the only available room. Then I couldn’t get in the room. The manager spent 30 minutes taking the lock mechanism apart, but could not get it to work. So he moved me to a room that evidently didn’t exist 30 minutes prior. The room was bare bones — and I mean bare. There wasn’t even a lamp — just a blaring fluorescent fixture on the ceiling outside the bathroom. The mattress was soft, misshapen and very uncomfortable. The particle board furniture was falling apart. The grounds were dirty and unkempt. People (maybe employees and friends?) hanging out in the parking lot making noise. I didn’t expect much, but was still disappointed. I read a couple of reviews that said the motel was “adorable” — no doubt someone affiliated with the property. It’s cheap for sure, but in more ways than one.

Last night 12-20-24, My Sony camera recorded a long black haired person crossing quickly from either the bathroom or small brown east bed cabinet open at the bottom 2 feet by 18 Inches who left quickly out the front door. $730 missing from my wallet that was on brown round table near the bathroom.

Lompoc is quiet quaint small town. The hotel is reasonably price for its simple offering of the basicd
