I was hopeful for this stay being that it was affordable & the photos looked like it was a decent stay. It was grungy feeling, the front desk representative was not helpful at all. She was rude to everyone that came into their establishment. Our key would not work after 11am everyday and we had to get that fixed every day during our stay. I’m unsure if that is a system glitch or just an error for our specific room. The pillows felt like you were sleeping on air, & we tried asking for more pillows but the do not have extra. The pillows gave me a rash as well so I’m unsure why that happened. Because of this overall experience, I will not be returning to Lompoc or this establishment again.

My blind stopped working because they were automatic. I asked for assistance they told me they would send maintenance maintenance didn’t come instead housekeeping help me, and we found out that the blinds needed to be charged second my sink was clogged so you know I couldn’t wash my face and brush my teeth at the same time I would have to wait for the water to go down. I asked for assistance. They told me that maintenance wasn’t available because of the holiday and the hour. I tried to bring it up to them before leaving the hotel but they were on a two hour lunch the glass cups you use for the ice and to have your drinks, one of them cracked, so we chose not to use them I tried to bring this up at checkout, and the lady in the front seem to have an attitude about me complaining and told me that if I was requesting a refund that I would have to talk to her boss about it I explained to her that I was just bringing up the problems to her so that she can fix them for anybody else yet she still seem to have a problem with it after I showed her some photos so that she wouldn’t think that I was lying she stated that she didn’t need to see any photos and that I could bring that up to her boss. I was planning on staying another day but after this, I don’t think I’m gonna be staying here ever again.

The property stay was very good, the place is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The pillows were soft and very clean. My only complaint was that I didn’t appreciate it when the staff open the door in the morning. If the check out time is at 11:00 am why do they try to get inside your room before, that’s disrespectful.

Reasonable for a short stay except for a couple items: (1) The main problem was that we came back to find the door open even though we had pulled it closed before leaving. (2) More minor problems are that the sinks are mounted too high to be comfortable for use and the shower layout is such that when you turn on the shower, there is no way to avoid being doused with cold water. (3) Finally, the breakfast ended too early (8 am on weekdays, 9 am on weekends) to be useful for us.

Hotel was very clean but the furniture was not kept up. All the furniture doors didn’t close right. Bathroom was a really nice size and very well lit. Beds and bedding were nice. Parking was plentiful and convenient. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Fresh fruit, coffee, juices and much more. Only thing is the dining area is very small but outdoor tables are available. We would stay there again. Ladies at front desk were very nice and helpful. We experienced a rocket launch at about 9:30pm on Saturday night as there’s an Air Force base near by. We were startled by the loud noise and rumbling but when we realized what it was, it was a funny memory that we will keep with our daughters.

This was the best hotel on my eight day motorcycle trip. The manager was extremely helpful and extremely polite. We happen to see each other outside and he inquired about my satisfaction with the room. I loved the fact that there was an electric tea kettle, very comfortable bed, great refrigerator, and an excellent smart TV. I was able to park my Harley right outside of my door which was also a bonus. The manager‘s name was Mike and he is a gem! I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in Lompoc but should I find myself in your town? I will definitely stay with you again. Thank you very much, Howard Harrow.

Recently updated, the bathroom was a little awkward with the toilet paper roll mounted at about chest height.. and the rainfall shower just about drowned me, but other than that it was a quick one night stay on an extremely comfortable bed. I slept through breakfast so hopefully that was good too.

The girl in the reception desk was rude and raices bad customer service and was rude she wouldn't even give me 5 minutes to shower quick before check out the housekeeping even came knocking on our door talking about we need to check out already while we where changing bad experience for that hotel they need to get retraining in customer service

We (Couple) stayed for one night in May 2026. Room was comfortable , clean and spacious. Huge and comfortable king size beds . Bathroom was a good size . Microwave and refrigerator in-room was a plus . Parking was plenty, and conveniently close to the room . Breakfast was decent - both hot and cold items and a good selection .

First the pros: Obviously making an effort to remodel. Breakfast room very welcoming, attractive and tasty options, very comfortable bed.
Now the cons: room was not as pictured, only one sink in the bathroom, no rainshower shower fixture, no light near the bathroom mirror, bath products were not Paul Mitchell and two of the holders were pulled off the wall, my bed sheets had what appeared to be old ink stains on them.
Nice that a Kerig coffee maker is provided, but you need actual coffee pods to actually make coffee- obviously maid had missed that!! Next day our entry cards were deactivated by mistake- had to go to the front office at 9:30pm to get into our room. Had to go back to the office 10 minutes later when I realized that the maid had collected our bath towels but failed to replace them. Young lady on night duty did not even offer an apology for all this inconvenience. Old adage....you get what you pay for...

Large, clean room with easy-to-use motorized blackout curtains. Parking is distributed around the hotel so that it’s easy to find a space close to the room. Bed was a foam top which I’m not used to, so it was a little uncomfortable for me. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was enough for me. They had the following: breakfast sausages, omelette, potatoes with bell pepper, apple and orange juices, black tea, coffee with milk, some bakery options, cottage cheese, quick oats, yogurt, white bread.
They have Tesla slow chargers owned by Tesla, but I didn’t have j1772 adapter to Tesla for level2, so couldn’t charge my ev. Road was close and it was hard to sleep due to car noises.

The room was basic, a little depressing but the bathroom had a good layout. Eggs at breakfast were a little salty but seemed real, not powdered. Folger's coffee was mediocre. A good option between budget and more upscale places like Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn Express.

Upon arrival, the room had unpleasant odor and there was a noticeable amount of hair on top of the bed. I had to use disinfectant spray and perfume and ended up doing some cleaning myself. We arrived late after along trip, so we decided to keep the room. Additionally, guests with disabilities should be aware that there’s no elevator, which may make access difficult.

The room was clean and the property looked nice. However, the plumbing in the rooms was sooo loud! We heard exactly when the neighbor turned on the shower and the entire bathroom started trembling. One would not be able to sleep with that noise. Additionally, property is located near airbase. We heard missiles or something around 2:30am. The entire room sounded like it was inside a tornado for a few minutes. That was a rude awakening.

You don’t create intentional issues with customers to DNR them for personal reasons. I had high hopes for this hotel based on the pictures & previous reviews. The customer service was great, the room felt clean & newly renovated, but that's where it stopped. The room had an awkward layout, the ceiling fans cool lighting made the room feel like an office building, there were nails coming through the wall & the furniture looked like it was second hand. My biggest complaint was the old blood stain on my pillow & the TV didn't have any channels available unless you signed into your personal Netflix, Disney+, etc. We could also hear guests staying several rooms away, the hall echos every noise. To top it off, the police showed up as I was checking us out the next day. Lesson learned, pay a little bit more to stay at a higher rated hotel next time.

This was a good trip untill the end. I got a text from someone that started telling me that they were going to call the cops on me, have me charged with who knows what. But i found out they are accusing me of stealing and as they say \" destroying the blankets and towels\" when lall they had to do was put them through the heavy-duty wash. Like i said it was a good trip till I started getting texts from them accusing me of stealing. I would say just go somewhere else unless you like to be accused of doing something that you did not do. And not to mention they day they started accusing me was the day that we were co-hosting our friends celbration of life and did no need that extra stress.
