The staff was very friendly and did everything they could to help with what they had to work with. I had to switch rooms because of standing water in the tub when you try to take a shower and the Internet was crappy the floors are dirty. The mattresses are really old. The room smell when they switched me rooms. The standing water in the drain was even worse I had mold on the ceiling and there was literally a gentleman complaining about blood on his walls. Not to mention, there’s questionable people out walking around doing questionable things late at night and early in the morning. I hate to say it like this but getting up early for work you see those kind of things especially at the property A couple doors down again the staff was amazing and did what they could with what they had to work with. I think the owner needs to take a long look at the property and do a lot of upgrades if you want business granted it’s a cheaper hotel but I decided since I’m out here working and I’m on per diem. You can’t really get rid of comfort while you’re out staying for work.

I really can’t say too much about the staff. The staff does the best that they can with what they have the staff is very nice and very hospitable the rooms that’s where it starts. I was in the room. Some of the lights didn’t work when you took a shower, there would be standing water in the tub because it didn’t drain properly. They were gracious enough to move me to another room. Where do I begin the air conditioner in the room barely works. This shower is even worse with the standing water there’s mold on the ceiling. I have to keep shoes with me when I get out of the shower because I don’t want my feet to get black from the dirt on the floor. There’s questionable people in the parking lot very early in the morning doing questionable things and I know this because I have to get up early to go to work so I see it the room smells the mattresses are not great. You can hear the springs basically breaking as you get in and out of bed again the staff is very hospital and does the best they can with what they have honestly, I would say the manager needs to take a hard long look and really try to figure out how to make a modifications to the hotel for a better experience

First impression you get when you pull to the office to check in is fairly pleasant. Once you get your key and drive around to your room everything changes. There are several (what looks like) abandoned cars or people who live in them.
Once inside you realize these rooms have been patched up over and over not by any kind of professionals but the \"guy who can do it cheaper\". Room 128 where we stayed was gross. Stained sheets, patches everywhere, doors walls, ceiling. The bathroom door would not close all the way. If you push it closed you won't be able to open it back up. It's rotted and full of water damage. There is no latch on it even if it did. There's over spray everywhere.
The worst part was the towels. They left nasty lint on your skin. It was impossible to get off. It makes me angry even writing this review because it summarizes what this hotel management thinks of its guests. It's impossible not to see these issues if you clean and inspect these rooms.
This place is filthy. Seems like they cater to long term clients or field/construction workers. Save yourself the aggravation and spend a few dollars more on a decent place.

We stayed at this location (motel 6 Lompoc) for one night and won’t stay in any motel 6 anymore. We changed our rooms two times but unfortunately our stay was disappointing The toilet would not flush in the first room and both the bathtub and the bathroom sink were clogged, causing the water to drain very slowly. In addition, the both rooms had a strong unpleasant smell. These issues made our stay uncomfortable. We hope they will be addressed for future guests. The only good thing about this location was the receptionist lady who was very helpful and professional.

The caulking around the base of the bathroom’s tub was peeling and showed signs of mildew. While the motel is clearly older, the bathroom lacked basic deep cleaning, with grime through the bathroom. Although the room was a non-smoking room, it had a strong odor of cigarettes.

Bell at front desk did work. I had to call from my phone from the lobby to get service. Had to be let in room by staff they could not program keys to work. Once in, bed was not made, used towels on bathroom floor. 2nd room, bedside lamps did not work, phone did not work. There was trash all around the parking lot(not lobby side). Checked out after first night. They would not refund the remaining two nights. Expedia offered $25 key cash to pacify the situation. I have used Expedia for many years and so have my adult children. How one incident with an unacceptable result ruin years of loyalty. We definitely will be seeking the services of another third party travel partner for the future.

where do I start? this place is gross. as soon as we walked up to our room, we saw trash right outside our door. the bathtub was disgusting. the floor was dirty! the door didn’t close property. and there were clothes all over the rails. people living there and being loud. cigarette buds all over the floor. the vent in the restroom was dirty! towels were dirty! we did not stay! we asked for a refund and were told we could just leave! there were also bugs trying to get in!

All the towels were dirty, like they haven’t been washed. Lucky we brought our own. Bed sheets had stains on them, had to put another sheet over it. No hot water, no matter which way the knob was turn. Sink facet was squirting water out of the sink. Thermostat or fan wasn’t working properly. If we didn’t have things to do the following morning in Lompoc, we would have drove back home to Temecula in the middle of the night. Top it off when checking out, there was no staff at the front desk. Rang the bell many times, waited for while, couple of more people came into check out and then finally a guy coming running in. This was another bad experience with Motel 6. Should’ve learn our lesson the first time.

The first thing I noticed was a broken down car being worked on in the parking lot. Our room was next door to my daughter’s room for convenience. Immediately we noticed there was toilet paper in the toilet and the air conditioning was pumping hot air. When asking for another room, the hotel staff said there had been problems with the HVAC in that area. We were changed to a room two doors down which had air conditioning but no trash cans and the shower was slow draining, There were people (mostly men) hanging outside of their rooms whom looked like tenants. One man was walking around without his shirt on, and another with a hot plate outside of his room making chili. I saw a woman in a bathrobe and slippers two days in a row. The ice machine was not working. Finally there was a car in the parking lot that looked like it hadn’t moved in awhile. There was a box and blanket underneath where a cat was lying down.

I realize Morel 6 now caters to potentially homeless people and rent out long term. The Motel resembles more like low income housing with broken down cars. My daughter paid $5.00 extra and had a microwave and fridge. Our room was completely bare and when we asked for a trash bin, the staff never brought us one. They couldn’t locate one.

Honestly, our experience at this hotel was not good. The room had a very strong thinner-like smell from the moment we walked in, which made the stay uncomfortable. The bathroom drain kept clogging, the overall appearance of the room looked poorly maintained, and there was a lot of humidity and moisture damage on the bathroom ceiling.

In general, the hotel feels old and neglected. If you are only looking for a place to sleep for a few hours and do not really care much about the conditions, then it may work for you. But if you are expecting cleanliness, comfort, or a pleasant stay, I would not recommend it.

Manish and Kailee are always awesome. These two are very accommodating, courteous and understanding. We’ve been regular guest at this location. To be honest, these two are the main reason we’ve chose to continue with this location despite what the property lacks or needs improvement in. However, the price at this location should be a lot lower and the front desk staffing definitely needs improvement. Our experience is Luis the maintenance man works hard, is courteous and continues to maintain the property throughout his shift. The pool is inviting. Housekeeping definitely needs improvement in the way they treat guests as well as the way they clean rooms. Manish and Kailee a very welcoming and definitely make a big difference in the decision to choose this motel. They try their best to provide great guest service within their means allowed to them. They work hard. They make themselves available. They put in effort to satisfy guest and keep them returning. You can always find them either in the office or on the property balancing the guests and property needs with exceptional service and goals to provide to guest what they’ve paid for close as they can as employees. Manish as supervisor has made a big difference at this property. They both seem to take pride in their jobs and how they treat people that are paying and expecting to be treated while accommodating customers whether it’s their first time or CONTINUE to CHOOSE to PAY and CONTRIBUTE to this location and business.

There were grease splitches on the nightstand and various surfaces, dried encrusted gunk in the sink, the tub was moldy, and there even was a dirty old pair of socks on the floor. This place is a dump! The A/C sounded like a freight train. Junkies were everywhere. The phone didn't work. ALL of the vending machines were out of order, and I actually stayed there for 10 days. Even the ice machines were broken. There was NO security. There was constant homeless and other non-guests loitering. There are drug dealers living there. The walls are very thin. I heard everything going on in other rooms. The water is the shower was fine, until another guest flushed their toilet; then it turned ice cold. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Property was not as advertised. Rooms don't have AC, staff admitted this is why residents leave their doors open for ventilation. Dogs were running loose in the parking lot, in and out of room. People were sleeping overnight in their vehicles. People were smoking on balconies with the door open to rooms. Laundry consisted of 1 washer and 3 dryers. Room had ripped sheets, large mold stain on ceiling, sticky floors, smelled like smoke and was dirty. Room was upstairs, walking past residents smoking. Police were in the parking lot, due to anticipated issues from residents. Staff apologized, as these are known issues at the motel. We felt so unsafe, we booked another place an hour away. We requested a refund, however staff didn’t know how to issue a refund after renting the room. We stay in many Motel 6 rooms, but this one made us call M6 corporate and environmental health to lodge complaints.

The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet, and it was leaking. We changed rooms because of this. The second room the fire alarm was only hanging by one wire, it wasn’t even attached to the ceiling. The bathtub was a mess, chalking everywhere. We could barely get warm water, even if we ran it a bit. We could not shower. There were cigarette butts everywhere outside the room. People were yelling and screaming all night. Super loud music. 1st room was filthy, brown sheets, leak from creiling smoke detector leak from ceiling light, no shower curtain, which they did take from another room, moved to another room but damage was done and this room was smelly like smoke, dirty sheets. Got done running ubers and got back late needed to take a shower and i had frogit to get ectra towels before we left.
