the hotel needs attention to cleanliness and more accommodating to working guests. if you are planning to work remotely, the internet is very poor and sometimes does not connect, the outside facility can very noisy. There was 18wheels truck parked that left the engine running for hours and prevented me from taking an afternoon nap, and despite my complaints to the front desk, they told me there was nothing they could do. So I ended up changing room, Not a good experience.

Starting with a positive - breakfast was good. However, the sofa bed mattress in the first ‘suite’ they gave us was so filthy, we had to ask to move. It was also so thin you could feel the springs. Slightly better in second room but sofas both really worn and grubby. Bathroom in first room wasn’t clean - hairs in bath - and kitchen bin hadn’t been emptied in second. Hotel used by local farm workers who were always polite but groups of single men at doors and in corridors slightly unnerving for a family stay. Don’t recommend at all. Receptionist was friendly but not really able to help.

It was a place to stay. Room had a worn out desk chair that was peeling and the regular chair was dirty, half toilet paper rolls and no wash clothes or hand towels. Turned on the AC and it smelled like moldy. The laundry room was bad. Floors dirty, broken washing machine and one looked very dirty. Only had I decent washer and one decent dryer. Could be a very nice place with a little TLC.
On the plus side they had a good continental breakfast and room had a small refrigerator and microwave.

The rooms were very clean and big spacious rooms. Staff were amazing, front desk reception was very helpful when checking inn explained the amenities and location of all vending machines, pool area, and breakfast location. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety to choose from. Parking was amazing. Empty most of the time. Very quiet and people are kind polite and very respectful here. Highly recommend to everyone that is out here on work or vacationing... 10 out of 10...

Good clean hotel. Only used for one night, no lifts which doesn’t help when you have problems with stairs and no help to get my case upstairs.
Other problem was cards for entry to room didn’t work on initial arrival and every time I left the room which was a problem as I had to trail up and down stairs every single time to go to reception to get this fixed and not as much as I’m sorry!!

The rooms are big and clean. Staff is very respectful and very helpful... breakfast is very delicious, they have a variety of.things to choose from. And the parking is available around the whole building and empty parking lot. Area is very close to all shopping centers and restaurants walking distance. Very highly recommended... price is decent compared to other hotels around with amenities available as described on the website...

There were many issues with our recent stay at the Lompoc Inn.
1. The elevator closest to our room (near the lobby) was out of order
2. The air conditioner in our room absolutely did nothing except blow hot air, this was fixed by a room change, but nonetheless it was a rough night of sleep on night 1.
3. The soda machine on our floor did not work, we were told to try another floor.
4. The breakfast did not have cream cheese for bagels, no pastries, no beverages to speak of.
5. There were no washcloths at all.
6. The floor in the bathroom was peeling.
7. The shower curtain rail was falling down.
8. The characters in the area, were interesting. We got to hear a couple argue loudly in the parking lot about their sexual habits.
9. The window casing was falling apart.

In short, this hotel has great staff. But needs a serious maintenance schedule completed on it, we will not be returning.

First room we were placed in had a broken AC. Elevator was out. Hot tub out of service and looking at other reviews possibly since a year prior to our visit. Walkways between buildings were condemned and only blocked off by caution tape. Mattress was a springy rock. I’d have been better off sleeping in my car.

Some exterior stairs in the rear of property near pool were in need of repair improvement and the pool needed to be cleaned but it was too cold to jump in. But other than that everything was great and a wonderful surprise. Really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is a bit outdated, as well as the furniture in the room we were given. One elevator was unavailable, but we were able to still get around. The front desk lady (I didn't get her name) she was amazing, very helpful, even after we informed her, we didn't like the room that we were assigned, without any questions moved us to another which was much better. Breakfast was great! I was pleasantly surprised that it was a hot breakfast, good variety of items. The stay was good. We had a good night's sleep. Thank you for the free parking it is appreciated.

Lobby and rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. IMO , could use some touch up painting to room doors, repair of wallpaper in many locations, flooring in elevator is very worn and items that are removed from the walls should have holes patched up and painted.

Old building; wood rot, termite damage, (bridge between buildings was closed because of this); one elevator out of service, the other one we rode once after we felt it very unstable and shaky; door handle to our room was broken, but at least it stayed locked; extra door latch was broken; tiles in the bathroom were broken; bed and pillows were super uncomfortable; found a long black hair in the bathroom the first time I went to use it (definitely wasn't mine)

Room was as pictured and described. Always clean and kept up. My room was provided with clean linen every day of my stay as well as supplies I did not need to ask for anything. Staff I interacted with were very friendly

Room was ok. It was a bit run down. Tile in the bathroom was broken, tile would lift when stepped on. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special eggs, paper thin bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bread and waffles. Location was quiet. Pool was dirty!
It is a little over priced for what you get.

The room was clean, and the front desk clerk was pleasant. This is the only good thing I can say about this hotel! It's falling apart everywhere! Walkway from one building to another is literally falling apart. Spa is broken, has nasty water and debris in it. Paint peeling and wood rot everywhere. The halls smelled like freshener over mold. Breakfast was fairly standard continental style with nasty eggs, turkey sausage, biscuits & gravy and assorted breads etc. Soda machine and water machine were out of order. Yes, it's inexpensive, but not worth the savings!

Staff were wonderful, but the builing itself is in terrible disrepair. Jacuzzi out of service. Main elevator out of service, breezeways between the building were blocked off with yellow tape because they are visibly buckling and are not safe to walk across.
The said the room was decently clean and all the in room amenities (tv, wifi, lights etc.) all functioned as expected.

The room was decent, but the bed had the worst mattress I've ever experienced at a hotel. We had a suite so I expected better. There were no wash clothes in the bathroom and there were only two very small towels for showering. Plus the electronic key cards didn't work properly so that had to be fixed after we carried all of our stuff up four flights of stairs just to be locked out and have to go back down. This place has potential, but they need to fix some things for sure.

This hotel is clearly on its way down. No longer a Best Western, crumbling structure, 70s colors in the room, too few towels, broken refrigerators, and the worst eggs served at a hotel breakfast. Will not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel in a good location, near everything. Although the place could do with some updating, everything was clean and the rooms are really nice. Breakfywas very good, Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, waffles. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Room was not cleaned thoroughly, it was stuffy as the heater was not very good, the breakfast had very rubbery eggs, no boiled eggs as stated on their website, no cream cheese for the bagels, and the elevator was very noisy and most of the lights on the switches and floor indicator didn't work. However, the location is great as everything you could possibly need is within walking distance or a very easy drive.

everything was great until I went for breakfast and yes they had a wet cone sign up I did not realize that they had just mopped the floor and upon entering the tiled breakfast room I fell hard and injured my knee. Might want to consideder putting a rug in the doorway.

Found a Roach! Plus the second beds comforter was dirty. Didn’t use the bed. I was with my infant child and it wasn’t worth me calling front desk and asking for another room. Plus the young girl at reception took a while to appear when O checked I !!
