Great location between the Circus and teh Royal Crescent. This is a period town house so expect stairs and odd room shapes. Fitting, whilst clean, were worn. Getting took a big of figuring out. Had to access a key safe to get in, not helped by there being two key safes with the same number. Take a torch.

Did have to uber to and from the main shop and sightseeing locations since the hotel is up a steep hill. Only walkable from train station without luggage. Such a lovely hotel, I stayed in 2 different rooms because I had to extend my trip. Room 4 was so cute, quiet & beautiful view. Room 3 was really nice too, just a bit more noise from the street. I would have loved a fridge being there for 5 days, but I would definitely stay there again! Great location & nice staff. Highly recommend! 🙏❤️

I had a lovely stay at this BnB! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The host was friendly, helpful, and made me feel very welcome. It’s in a great location quiet, but still close to everything.we had wine by the window during nights loved the view it made my mornings feel so peaceful. Would definitely stay again. Stunning period property with great decor near the Royal Crescent. Affordable price. Not a typical guest house experience in that you do not meet the host. On arrival, we went to open the key lock box with our specific room number. We found the lock box already open with no key inside. Soon after, we rang the door bell and a guest of the property presented us with the keys, after accessing the lock box and taking the room keys into the property. Aside a very good stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Brocks Guest House. The room is lovely decorated and the check-in is also convenient (but you may need to get in touch with them in advance to get the safe code to get keys). The hotel manager is very accommodating and hepful: I don't have enough time to pack up but they gave me an extra 30 minutes to check out, which is very helpful. The only thing is that the hotel doesn't have an elevator while we have three suitcases and stay on the top floor, which took a lot of efforts to bring the suitcases up to our room. That said, the house owner was very kind and helped us to take the luggage when we checked out. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you'd like a lovely place to stay in Bath!

A really nice place to stay in Bath. It's a great location between the Royal Crescent and The Circus. The room was spacious with a sofa and table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable and the welcome was friendly. I really liked the Sash windows. I will definitely stay here again. The only downsides are the shower isn't very powerful, the towels could be thicker and the lounge with fireplace and honesty bar is permanently shut. Which I would have liked to have used . Maybe take the lounge facilities off your website? But it's still a really nice place to stay.

Perfect location and comfortable beds. A good sized room where the 4 of us did not feel cramped. A 2 minute walk to The Crescent and it's park and about the same for The Assembly Rooms. It's about 20 minutes walk to the Roman Baths and Pump Room. We were cramming Bath in 1 day, and this location was perfect for us.

The check in and out was easy, our room was clean and comfortable, with ample selection of teas, coffees etc and 2 bottles of water.
Bath is a beautiful and interesting city. We enjoulyed visiting the famous Baths, The Holburne Museum, The Abbey Deli, the pretty cafe featured as a shop in Bridgerton. We also enjoyed walks along the river and browsing in the many interesting shops in the town, and visiting the Ladybird Book Artists exhibition at the Victoria Art Gallery.
We will definitely visit Bath again and stay at the Brock next time too.

Brocks guest house was in a beautiful location in The Circus area, just a short walk from centre of Bath. We had easy check in instructions and extra bonus of recommendations of where to go for food when eating out. Room was clean and comfortable with well needed tea coffee making facilities with added extras such as biscuits and hot chocolate. Great location, only a short walk to a range of restaurants and tourist attractions. Staff were lovely, accommodation was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We were lucky and got a park in the street out front however at times the street was quite busy so you might need to park a few streets away, the hotel provide a parking permit for the area. No lift (elevator) however that wasn’t an issue for us and something we have come across frequently in our travels. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

This property was beautiful. Though my room was in the basement, and the steps down were narrow, it was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the linens were great and especially the tub was perfect. A great place to unwind. I wish I stayed longer.

Fabulous location 10minute stroll takes you through the city centre to the river. Room was very comfortable. We had a problem with the Internet connection on day one but after that it was very good. Would we stay again certainly we would.

I loved this place! The free parking was the true gem of this hotel as it saved us around £25+ on alternative arrangements but there was nothing I didn't like about the hotel.
We had the basement room and it was stunningly clean, had lovely effective heating, a gorgeous bathroom, felt very secure and private, and had absolutely everything you'd need for a city trip in the centre of Bath.
We made hot chocolates with the yummy free sachets provided and walked for 1 minute up to the Royal Crescent to watch the sunrise up over the city.
The staff were lovely but the whole check in process was contact free so if you don't like talking to people you can do the full check in/out process without seeing anyone haha!

Great central location, close to all that Bath has to offer. Room was well presented and had everything I needed for my stay. The guest house was adhering to COVID legislation and it worked very well. I had to search for car parking but luckily found a space very close to the guest house and used the parking permit provided. All in all a very good stay.

We only spent an overnight stay when we visited our son in Bath but we were very impressed and would certainly stay there again. Check in was very easy, no contact with plenty of instructions. The room was very clean and comfortable with eco toiletries and lots of welcome touches, from fresh flowers to biscuits and granola bars alongside the coffee, tea and hot chocolate supplied. We didn’t need to use to car parking pass but it would be very useful for many visitors. There was plenty of local information supplied. I appreciated having an openable window in the room and the view from our top floor room was delightful over the rooftops of Bath and with a lit up church on the hill in the distance. It is so easy to walk to all the nearby attractions in Bath although it is a slightly quieter area.

Room was dusty and had cobwebs. The shower didn’t work properly, kept going scalding hot and then freezing cold with out touching the controls. Window to the bathroom is straight onto the busy street anyone can look/in especially the tour buses!! Staff not available after 6pm until the morning. No breakfast available even though it states it’s available at the property.

A lovely room/hotel. The room was just what I needed, spacious for one person, and a very comfy bed. The staff were nice and very helpful, giving useful information about places to visit and taxi services. Not getting what you pay for! V disappointing
I wish I was writing a better review but alas it’s not. We were under the impression that we were booking in for a room with breakfast. On arrival we were told this wasn’t the case and was told that a refund for this would be issued. This was very disappointing as it was a busy Father’s Day weekend and booking breakfast was tricky. The room and location were great and we were allowed to grab our parking permit earlier and it just so happened our room was ready so was able to drop cases in. On departure I checked with the guy running the guest house about the refund and he assured me that this would be done. Payment for the stay should have been taken on departure but they took the money out from the card details given way before our arrival. This was disappointing as I wanted to use a different card.
Annoying that venues are still using covid as an excuse to not give you what you pay for. I tried to give them a chance to amend this error by emailing and chasing them. There has been no response. So on that basis I would say I would be wary.

The room was lovely, beautifully decorated and furnished. The bed was firm - fine if you like a firm bed but it was a little more firm than I usually like but I still had a good night's sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brocks Guest House. The Managers, including Marta were very kind and explained the features of the area (attractions or places of interest) and told us if there was anything we needed to let them know-The Brocks House which is situated in an average neighborhood gives a traveler a \"taste\" of being a local for a period of time. The room was impeccably clean & the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a home cooked meal (breakfast)- egg omelet with toast & hot tea. The food was delicious and the managers were very kind. I have traveled to Europe several times, staying in large hotels most of the time, I would not hesitate to recommend this Guest house to anyone who is visiting the area. Good Job!Thank you!
