This hotel location is good - bus stop just outside and easily accessible to the Jeju airport. Rooms are very nice and clean with slippers provided. The main issue was the lack of air conditioning - it was very warm inside the room as apparently the air conditioning only gets turned on on 1 April. The breakfast buffet is also not worth it. Instead, can get coffee from the cafe next door on the ground floor (10% discount for guests) or the nearby convenience stores ( GS25 and CU in close proximity ).

Excellent hotel with everything that we needed. Staff were extremely helpful also. It’s a good area with a lot of good restaurants around the hotel. Very easy to travel to the hotspots of Jeju city either by foot, taxi or bus.

Room was not air conditioned, staff insists that only heating is available because still winter in Jeju and stated that we should open the window. Outside temperature was around 14 degrees which is not ideal to have an open window all night. The option of Cooling or heating should have been given to guests. Busy hotel, and senior staff at the front desk simply appear to ignore our sitaution and left it to junior staff to deal with.

It's good for the price but not 8*

We stayed in a deluxe double which was a room with a double bed and mini fridge.

The good:
- it was spacious compared to other places we've stayed
- they brought in two waters
- the mini fridge
- the ac worked really well
- there is a deep soaking tub

The bad:
- the room had a bug problem (I assume) as big spray was left by the TV
- we put out the do not disturb but housekeeping came in anyhow. I appreciated the towels and water but would've preferred privacy
- the bed is very hard/firm
- the tub isn't very long, I'm 5'0\" and couldn't extend my legs

Strategic Hotel Location

The hotel is in a very strategic location with a bus stop just in front which has buses from and to the airport. Therefore, it is very convenient to commute to the airport and many other attractions in Jeju Island. In addition, there is a convenient store just on the opposite road of the hotel which has a wide variety of food and other essentials. This convenient store sells fresh peaches at a very reasonable price and the staff is also very helpful although not able to understand English. However, there is a male staff in the hotel who is not very willing to help us when we asked for directions as he just brushed us off indicating that he did not know. The female staff on duty in the morning was much more helpful. On the last day of our stay in the hotel, the toilet did not flush properly and we reported to the reception but was told that we had to wait until 9.00am. Meanwhile, we were asked to use the toilet of another room where the guests just checked out!

Nothing was unique about this property. There’s big Daiso store nearby which is nice, but literally that’s all. It’s pretty far from the topdong beach so you’d have to ride taxi to anywhere to explore. Also, the fitness center doesn’t even exist, and the view obviously is okay. I’d rather stay near the beach paying 20 dollars more per night.

Spacious comfy room, nice hotel

Room was spacious with a small sofa to lounge around on, bed was comfortable, I slept like a log. There was a bathtub to soak in and a high tech toilet bowl in the bathroom. Walking distance to Noodle street and a few museums. Visited in winter, we tried to adjust the A/C but didn't understand the Korean, we figured it out somehow lol. There is parking provided in the hotel basement.

Not recommend for ladies because of the hair dryer

Hotel Shalom is relatively near the airport (cross the road and take 101/110/120/130, 3000won by cash). The room is clean and new, bed was comfortable. There are 2 convenience store located nearby. Amenities provided includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, towel, bathroom slippers, water, a useless hair dryer (read more below). B2-B2 are parking lots.

However the CONS as follow:
- concierge staff was not welcoming upom checkin
- tiny areas (e.g. showerhead holder) was not cleaned, image attached.
- aircon was difficult to adjust
- MOST IMPORTANTLY, the hair dryer cant discharge warm air at all. Called the concierge and someone came up to check and told me that it's normal. Are you telling me a hairdryer whichcan only discharge cold air is normal? No. I've stayed in hotels with small hairdryer which have weak air strength but never one with cold air only. Goodness.

We stayed in a double bedroom on the 15th floor with a very nice view of the city and the ocean. They had a clean bed and bathroom. There was a mini fridge with two bottles of water for free. Nice room and service.

Beware of greedy staff

The hotel location is convenient and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The other services are deficient though. The fitness center is located on B4 floor but the directions are for B1 floor. Fitness center is only for name sake and is used for other purposes. I booked a room for my family with twin bed. On arrival I was informed that my room is upgraded to two double beds since I was traveling with my 5 years old daughter. I thanked the receptionist but she told me that I have to pay additional KRW 20000. I said I am not interested in upgrade and happy with my current booking. She had difficulty understanding english and kept reciting same sentence again and again citing some rule. I gave up. Despite having deficiency in services they were insistent on charging guests for full service. I had other things to do instead of changing hotel room at the last minute so I just dropped my luggage and asked her to bill the amount to my room. It was a shock that she insisted to pay before being allowed to check-in. I simply gave her KRW 20000 and waited for receipt but she was still talking and explaining something to me which I was not even listening. I asked her to issue the receipt and be happy. After 5 minutes I gave up waiting for the receipt as well and left the place as I was losing patience. I was planning for a three day stay but instead left the room very next morning to more welcoming hotel with better facilities.

The hotel itsself is nice but staff dont speak english so just b aware of that. U may need to download a translatir app. They are nice and tried to help but they just dont speak english. The location is a bit far from everything u will need to take a bus to the main sites like beaches and shops. If u are taking a taxi make sure they uss the meter or use the kaokao taxi app as we got ripped off from taxi scams who just make up a price and taxi drivers dont speak english so it mite b easier to use the kaokao app to save your energy trying to explain where u want to go. If u show them the addrsss they are still confused.

Strategic location in Jeju city centre

Hotel location is right at city Center and about 10-15 mins drive from airport. Bus stop is just at in front of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and they can speak mandarin to give you the best recommendation for visit. Ask the hotel staff to give you recommend you Jeju famous restaurant of Black Pork BBQ are just nearby.

Super value for money and centrally located

We arrived at 12.30 pm but we couldn’t check in until 3 pm. It was raining-snowing and freezing and we had been traveling on planes for 16 hours. There were so many people waiting at the lobby and we couldn’t get early check in, so we dropped the luggage at the counter and went out for some abalones. The island is big and tourist attractions are far apart... the bus takes a Long time to go from one point to another.

When we were back at 5.30 pm to check in, the room was ready. It was new, clean and had all the necessary amenities. It was an amazing value for money staying at Shalom. The place is so centrally located you can get buses to go every corner easily

Checking out was a breeze. I highly recommend his hotel and it would be even more amazing if they allow early check in.

The hotel can be rated as a 4 star in my mind. The price are also very good and the good view to the ocean from my room. However, the one of the diastrous thing is no air condition for my room! Even it now Nov and Jeju is cool at night but the room was still very hot with above 25C which make me sleepless for without air condition, the staff asked me to open the window but it cannot help to reduce the heat in my room and also come with the noise from the road make my sleep quality very room during my 3 night stay

침구도 너무 무겁고 방에 들어서자마자 온 몸이 간지러울정도로 관리안된 느낌이며 암막커튼은 끝까지 젖혀지지 않아 잠을 설치고 옮긴 방은 밤새 내내 물 내려오는 소리가 폭포수같아 잠을 못자고 ,, 다시는 오고 싶지 않은 4성급이 맞나 싶어요

とにかく、安くて、きれいで最高でした。
バス停が目の前というのが、決め手だったので、部屋は期待してませんでしたが、よかったです。
ホテルと関係はないですが、済州島は、想像よりバスの本数が少なく、また、はっきりした時刻表がないので、それが不便でした。カカオマップでしらべても、なんじにバスが来るのかは、直前にならないとわかりません。なので、済州島がやっている、無料のチャットサービスを利用するとよいです。

호텔은 전체적으로 깨끗하고 전망이나 룸타입은 정말 만족합니다.
댓글 대다수처럼 주차장이 너무 협소하고 불편해서 주변 유료주차장을 이용했습니다.
주차장 문제로 기분이 상했던건 안내데스크에 주차장 문의를 드렸는데 답변에 너무 성의가 없고 알아서 주차하라는듯 귀찮아 함. 결국 직접 주차장을 찾았는데 주변에 유료주차장이 있어서 안전하게 유료주차장을 이용했습니다.

제주공항에서 이동하여 다음 일정을 하기에 적절한 호텔입니다. 시청 주변에 있어서 식당의 선택도 다양하게 할 수 있었고, 렌트카를 이용하지 않은 저에게는 대중교통을 편하게 이용할 수 있는 위치였습니다.

한라산 등반을 하기 위한 여행이기에, 새벽에 아침을 해결할 식당도 주변에 있고, 편의점 등 다양한 편의시설이 주변 가까운 거리에 있어서 좋았습니다.

침대 그리고 침구도 편안했고... 전체적으로 만족합니다.

생각했던 것보다 객실이 넓어서 좋았어요. 아 그리고 옆 객실에도 이용객들이 있었는데 방음이 엄청 잘 되는 것 같더라고요. 편의점 가려고 나가지 않았으면 있는 줄도 몰랐을거 같아요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

공항에서 가깝고 직원들은 친절하였으나, 조식이 형편없고 잔반을 음식옆에 처리하게 하는 등 개선이 절실해 보임

시내에 잇는 합리적인 숙소로 굳

가격대비 아주 좋아요 방크기도 적당하고 침대도 편안햇습니다 제주시청 근처라 식당이나 까페도 많아요ㅎ 화장실에 살짝의 곰팡이가 잇는데 화장실 청결에 엄청 민감한 분 아니라면 지내는데 전혀 문제는 없엇어요 아주 만족하고 갑니다ㅎ

가성비 굿

성수기라 공항 가까운 바닷가 호텔은 산전망이어도 꽤나 비싸서 시내에 샬롬호텔 예약했어요. 트윈 룸 크기도 작지않고 깨끗하고 조용했어요. 침대와 이불도 편안하고요. 욕실에 욕조옆 반파티션으로샤워커튼이 없어서 물이 밖으로 튀는 단점 빼고는 매우 만족했습니다. 소나타 렌트해서 주차장 길이 좁다는 글보고 걱정했는데 무난했어요.
