The room was pretty basic (NOT deluxe!) but OK and the views were lovely. What absolutely ruined it was the fact that busking is encouraged right outside the hotel until 10 pm every night. The noise can easily be heard in the rooms and the staff said there was no point moving to another room as the “musicians” and their fans can be heard allover the building. Locals I spoke to said it is always noisy in this area and it was impossible to get any peace in the evening . I will NEVER go anywhere near there again.

The hotel conditions are fine but do not visit bbq chicken restaurant at the base floor of hotel.

We ordered a fried chicken leg set, but it came with only 8 very small pieces, the portion was way too small for the price, which was already disappointing.

To make matters worse, the chicken was undercooked.
I pointed it out to the staff, but they insisted it was normal, which I found very frustrating.

The staff’s attitude was unpleasant, and in the end, we couldn’t eat the food and had to leave it.

Plus we also ordered abalone porridge, but it was too salty that it was inedible.
Since the restaurant is located inside the hotel, we expected a certain standard, but it was an extremely disappointing experience overall…

My room card doesn’t work and turns out it was assigned to the different room, even the staff can’t explain why. Also there was no water given in the room and no self serve water machine, turns out it’s they normally give 2 bottle water in the room but just they forget to give it to us.
View is great and probably that’s the only benefit

Great location: close to Dongmun market, shopping, lots of places to eat, close to a common tour pickup location, beside Tapdong plaza which often has busking at night (can be loud doesn't go too late). Room was clean and had enough space. Service was excellent and staff was pleasant. Awesome experience!

I was a bit worried about this hotel because the price was lower than I usually pay. The lobby was a bit dated, but the rooms were nicely updated and really good to stay in. Lots around to see, lots of eating options. The local restaurant was okay for breakfast, wasn't a fan of the dinner, I had a chicken dish with chicken bits, really had to watch out for bones.

I'd go to this hotel again, probably eat somewhere else for dinner though.

The hotel was clean and the staff generally friendly, contributing to a comfortable and pleasant stay. Its location was a major highlight—just a short walk from Black Pork Street, numerous excellent local restaurants, and Jeju Airport—making it a convenient base for exploring the island.

One moment that stood out, however, was when I asked for help booking a rental car and was simply directed to search online. This felt a little dismissive, though it may have been due to a language barrier rather than a lack of willingness to assist.

There were a few other drawbacks worth mentioning. The timing of the pool maintenance was somewhat inconvenient, limiting guest access during the day. Basic amenities like toothbrushes were not provided complimentary and had to be purchased at reception—a practice that seems common across other accommodations I have stayed at, but still felt unusual compared to international norms. Additionally, while the hotel does feature a games room and gym, both facilities were noticeably outdated and would benefit from refurbishment to better meet modern expectations.

Overall, while not without its flaws, the hotel offers a solid and convenient option for travelers looking to explore Jeju.

Tapdong Plaza is across the street and very lively at night with buskers, many people walking and friends chilling along the steps with snacks and drinks. There is lots of parking alongside the hotel and Tapdong Plaza for those with car hires. The hotel is a short walk to Dongmun Market with many restaurants surrounding the area.

Worst hotel breakfast ever experienced

Room was alright. We got the sea view which was nice. We prebooked breakfast via Hotels.com and were disappointed to find out the breakfast was much cheaper booking at the hotel directly. Breakfast was probably the worst hotel breakfast I have encountered and I travel quite a bit. The hot food was cold. There weren't really many options for those who prefer Western style cuisine. It was raw vegetables, boney fish, raw fish and some cold pork. They also had fruit loops and cornflakes and some bread. I don’t eat pork so nothing really available for me. Every second day they had cold wedges and cold beef bulgogi so at least I could eat something. But it was cold. On the alternative days I went to the convenience store next door to buy something as all I could really have was juice. Most hotels have beef, chicken and potato options but here only beef and potato every other day and no chicken.The laundry service was more expensive than buying new clothes so we didn't use that - it was 11,000 won to wasj 1 tshirt. Housekeeping was good, but on the last day I noticed my epilator bag was missing so must have been thrown away. The market nearby was good for dinner options. There was also a water fountain show at night near that which was good. The chicken downstairs we didn’t try as it seemed expensive. The location was good.

Upon our return to the hotel on 2nd day of stay, we were surprised with a toilet filled with smoke! Apparently, the ventilation ducts at this hotel are linked to multiple rooms and a inconsiderate guest from another room must have been smoking in his non smoking room! And to make situation worse, for 'green' purposes, air-conditioning and all ventilation facilities at this hotel are offed during spring time! So the cigarette smoke and odour lingered in the room for extended period of time!

Front desk staff sent to check on the situation tried her best to mitigate the situation, however person incharge of allocating room has long knocked off for the day, so we were stuck with a 'smokey' room for the whole night!!

A new room was arranged for us on the next day, but check-in into this new room is between 12noon to 3pm. So, we have no choice but to pack up and deposit our belongings with the front desk, then check-in again late at night after we have completed our day itinerary.

I believe, It's something that only few guests will enjoy doing during a holiday trip.

We tried parking downstairs and the spots were far too narrow to get our luggage out and the parking attendant didn't speak english. We ended up parking on the ground level outside instead. Everything was great until the second day, when we noticed a persistent urine smell coming from the bathroom after it was cleaned. Unfortunately, the odor lingered for several days despite daily housekeeping. We also realized that the same bedsheets were being reused rather than replaced during our stay—not a major issue, but worth mentioning. Highly recommend bb.q Chicken restaurant downstairs!

Clean, pretty high end, and modern. One big complain is lack of parking and lack of laundry service. By around 6pm parking runs out and there is no other parking around the area. It creates a stressful situation as a tourist who have rented a car. Close to the markets, but then also has no laundry service, asked us to walk 15 minutes with laundry and sit there for 2 hours to do coin laundry. I think they should do better with these two things as it created a terrible experience for me.

For my stay, I had to do laundry, and I was forced to drive my car out of the parking lot to go to the coin laundry because it was too far to walk in the rain. Unlimited amounts of stress during the 15 minutes while we headed to and back the coin laundry because we scared people will take our parking spot. We had to make this trip 4 times, first time to wash, second time to move to dryer, third time to dry a second time, and forth time to retrieve our laundry. The combination of these two factors has made my stay incredibly stressful, time-consuming and unpleasant.

Although it is a niche situation, I cannot say I enjoyed the stay because after finishing laundry I only had 3 hours of sleep before my flight out so I don't think I had much time in the room.

I think they could've assigned parking spots at the time of booking and offer laundry service.

Great location as it is across shopping and dining area. Very convenient to the local marketplace to experience local foods. Hotel fronts the ocean and there’s a walking path for morning exercise. I stayed here for 5 nights and I love the facilities and the staff at the reception, the staff is AMAZING, very very helpful and kind.
The property is close to the Dongmun market and the main shopping areas, also to me it was very important that is only 250 meters from the major Tour operators pick up place.
For a solo female traveler this place is very safe and close to everything, including Olive Young.
