This hotel has no front desk and is on self check in basis. You need to have a booking reference to do the self check in from 3pm onwards.
I was not given the booking reference prior even though I contacted the hotel few days earlier.
Fortunately, there was a WhatsApp number which we could contact the service desk and were given the number promptly after some verification on the booking details.

It’s an AI hotel so you check in by yourself. I wouldn’t say I feel very safe because I do prefer having a real person at the front desk for security - the other hotels I’ve stayed at in Seoul have 1-2 people at the desk 24/7 so that’s what I’m used to. The walls and doors were a lot thinner than expected because I could hear noise in all directions whenever people were checking in and out. I woke up quite a few times and didn’t get restful sleep because of that reason. A little odd that they offer shampoo but no conditioner.

No staff with a remote check-in that will leave you confused. The area is not bad, near a market, a temple, and food. However, you can tell the hotel is cutting corners with no staff or people at all inside the building.

When I booked, there wasnt lot of negative reviews and pictures of the room looked ok, worst decision and worst hotel of my 5 nights stay at Jeju. I moved around the island so stayed at different locations as I moved around.
Self check in didnt work for me as my reservation mut not have been updated in their system. You need to use kako, whats app etc to contact staff. The 1 staff member seemed miserable with his job but did help me with updating my reservation so that i could self check in, and it woked the second time.
I went to breakfast the next morning, and the ‘chef’ who was on the backside of the restaurant was the peron who collected th breakfast coupons, however, doesnt greet or acknowledge guests, nor indicates he collects the breakfast coupons. I went to th front desk to ask, who do I give the coupon to. As I rentered the breakfast area, another staff member stated in korean, most guest do the same thing I did as no one realizes thier process. You would think, to lessen guest confusion, signage could be added at the front of the breakfast area, as its not staffed.
Entry to breakfast must be before 9:30 and the area closes at 10. Shortly after 9:30 they began to clear out the food; I understand if they dont refill the food but as its already buffet style laid out, didnt understand why they cleared the food There were other families still eating. A couple came in around 9:40 and they were asked to leave as they missed the 9:30 time. AC was very weak in our room.

I chose this hotel for a couple of main reasons:
- easy parking (in a lot next to hotel)
- close to shopping and dining (underground shopping is right there, and it’s a few blocks to Black Pork Street and Dongmun market
The hotel lived up to these expectations. Room was spacious, especially bigger bathroom than a lot of hotels that I’ve been at, but the key drawback was the room temperature. It was at 28 degrees and even though we set it much lower to try to reduce it, it was still too hot so we had to open window to cool down. Unfortunately no luggage rack but good nooks for them to keep them out of the way. There was a bit of a hiccup with the check in, which is all automated but I was able to connect to the reception via WhatsApp and they were able to come out of the office to assist. It was a very comfortable stay in a great location and convenient for parking.

The property looked very fancy outside and in the lobby but the room is not that great. However, the hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the shopping area and dining places. The hotel is also less than 30 minutes by bus from the airport and the bus stop is only a couple of steps away from the hotel.

Stayed there at the start and end of my stay in Jeju island and glad that the hotel was within walking distance of the Dongmun market and Pork Street and the underground shopping street. The place was clean and fortunately always had a parking space in the lot but imagine that can get full during peak season.

Booked presidential suite. Room very big, comes with 2 queen size beds, 2 washing basins n a sitting room. Hotel also allowed 4 adults in this room. Room a bit dusty. Hotel is only 10m from exit 12 of junggang underground shopping street which is about 200m long but keep ur expectations in check, can't compare with seoul underground shopping streets ya.

Keep your expectations for the stay low. For the price paid, it could be better. We entered the room and saw a dead cockroach near the bed. You will also see drain flies in the toilet. There was a very annoying fan sound and I told the staff but they said it's just loud fan sound in the ceiling and didn't bother clarifying more. It could also be they can't really converse in English.

During check-out, I asked the concierge to help call me a taxi to the airport and he refused. Said the timing is not right (it was about 715am) and asked me to just go out to the street and flag a taxi myself.

Service is really unacceptable so it's really what you pay is what you get.

Centrally located and good choice hotel

Loved that the hotel was centrally located. It was across from a folk village, a less than 5 minute walk from a market and underground shopping. The hotel does not serve breakfast but there was a good portion of resturants, bakeries and coffee shops nearby. Parking is next to the hotel and it was free for hotel guests. They were in the process of renovating the main entrance but they made sure to work during the day when guests were out touring. Staff was friendly and the rate per night was great. I would def recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Staz Hotel Robero for 3 nights and it was a pleasant experience. Room was quite clean and hotel staff were quite supportive. The best part is the hotel location. Main tourist attractions are well connected by public transportation which one can get within 4-5 mins of walking distance from hotel premises. Hotel is 3-4 bus stops away from Jeju International Airport (bus no. 365).
I would strongly recommend to stay here if someone is looking for an affordable and well placed accommodation.

Good for the budget but that’s about it.

This hotel had all the potential to be great and maybe it was 10 years ago. The room lacked any real amenities. After running the air conditioner for 5hrs the coolest our room got was 76 degrees. When we called to complain to the front desk they sent a standing fan to our room. To make matters worse the beds were extremely uncomfortable and that’s saying a lot because I’ve stayed in places that only offer ondol beds (Korean floor mats) and they were more comfortable. If you’re booking in a pinch than this place should be fine but if you have a choice try somewhere else.

The hotel is really pretty from the outside and the lobby but the rooms are very meh. My room looked rather dirty, the walls were gross and the carpet had stains on it. The bathroom didn’t have a bidet, something I’ve come to expect in Korea, and I’m pretty sure the shampoo and shower gel were the same thing. Their Expedia page said they served breakfast but they didn’t. They knocked on my door twice for room service but I said no thank you as I was trying to sleep, but then they called the room twice like?? Overall it was only like 30 bucks a night so what more could I expect.

If you want more freedom to move around town, this is the place to be. The room size is quite reasonable. There is hot and cool water dispenser at the corridor as it saves time and effort. Room cleaning is very efficiently done. But hotel should provide small safe as our floor is low and in a separate building. Overall the hotel scored on providing spacious area for coin laundry. And guests could use the canteen for eating in.

Our room was located from a separate building from the main hotel. Upon checked in, our room was filled with smoking smell coming from the toilet so the house keeper use the air freshener to remove the smell and we keep our window open after we left.Upon reached the hotel at 10pm, the smoking smell was still around so we called and they told us that the house keeper end work. The hotel staff came over and passed us the air freshener for us to spray. We ask if there is any room available and without even checking shesaid no. We tried to call the hotel main line to check if there is any room available because the room still fill with smoking smell as we are non smoker. A guy pick up the call and he checked that there is room available. A few minutes later, the guy called and said there is no room available. While he was speaking on the phone with me, there is another girl speaking Korean with him. The next moment he told us there is no room available and said is his mistake. We asked if we could speak with the manager, he told us that he is the manager and hang up the call even without saying anything. A few minutes later, a female staff told us there is room available and bring us to the room which is locate at the same floor. 2nd day, we put do not disturb sign but the house keeper still came in to our room. The breakfast was the same for 3 days. The building was old and aside from the good location of the hotel, I don't know why is 4 Stars Hotel.

less than 10min drive from airport. the location was great, right at the last entrance of the jungang underground mall, so wasn't too noisy but within walking distance to the chilsungro shopping streets and dongmun market. we had a traditional Korean room with heated flooring, a sleeping area with 2 double beds which can be partitioned off, and a sitting area that can be cleared to lay out another 2 single futons on the heated floor. also came with 2 well equipped bathrooms. very comfortable for our family of 4 with 2 older kids. loved our stay here!

Great location opposite Jeju Mokgwana. Very close to underground mall, market and shopping street.
Stayed in a quadruple room which was spacious. Beds were very comfortable.
Aircon is probably disabled in winter months but small window can be opened to let the cool air in. Remember to pull the insect net down when the window is opened.

Acceptable except the following..the air handling unit in the toilet was very noisy. One of thelatch on the toilet glass door also make noise when u open close the door. Good to have a towel matt for the toilet. Room was sometime stuffy cos there was only a small window opening of 1.5sq ft. And the aircon was not working. Good if hotel was upfront that in late Autmn to Winter aircon sys will be turn off. Orherwise the advert on room facilities gives a False impression.

The room was at 3rd floor. Very clean room but it was very warmed when the heater is on. Only small window can be opened but no wind blow in. Anyway, the location is very good(nearby Dongmun Traditional Market, Jungang Underground Shopping Mall & etc). Taxi ride to Jeju Airport less than 10 minutes.

It was a nightmare. We spent 2 nights in 2 separate rooms when we went to and fro Jeju City. The hotel switched off the centralized air conditioning for all rooms during both stays. This caused the rooms to be very warm and stuffy, which forced the guests to open up the windows. We fed mosquitoes the whole 2 nights, and our sleeps were very disrupted cause of it. The hotel even provided mosquitoes killer spray in the rooms, which means that they know keeping the windows open will invite mosquitoes in.

Although it’s autumn season, it would have been nice if the hotel could continue providing basic air conditioning for its guests to have the most basic comfort during our stay.

The size of the business twin rooms are also small, and we didn’t have much room left to walk about with 2 opened luggages.

Also, although we chose non-smoking rooms, the other guests smoke along the corridors and our rooms ended up smelling like a smoking room.

The only good point about the hotel is its convenient location.
