Gracious old Spanish Colonial hotel right across from the Merced Church. Rooms very large but dark and virtually no drawers or storage so we had to live out of our suitcases for 5 nights. Lovely cafe where we had breakfast most mornings and several lunches and coffee drinks…food very good. Staff polite and helpful. Lovely pool area but pool very chilly.
No elevator and second floor is a good climb so anyone with mobility issues should request a room on the ground floor. Good location and overall a nice experience

Our family loved this hotel for its colonial charm, walkability to the center of town and to various restaurants and coffee shops. There is a great restaurant that is associated with the hotel that also served a great breakfast.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating! We booked the airport shuttle through the hotel and were worried we were going to miss it because our flight got delayed 5 hours. Turns out they track your flight and wait for you, even in the middle of the night! Typically costs $50USD or $55USD if odd hours (we ended up getting in around 3am). The driver was so friendly and even gave us a little history on the town as we were driving in. Once we arrived staff who checked us in was also super friendly! The AC works great, but keep in mind there’s no hot water in the bathrooms. The property is GORGEOUS and the pool is stunning with an open view of the sky and the church across the street. The hotel is also in a central location for walking to shops and a little flea market our driver told us about. The downstairs cafe drinks and food were also good. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay here longer!

What's missing is a hot Jacuzzi by the pool for after touring Nicaragua all day. The are is in great location for restaurants but it's very dirty, noisy and dangerous. Lots of hungry people demanding food or money, lots of garbage around and people drive like maniacs.

I would have to categorize this Hotel as one of the best in the area. All of the staff were incredibly inviting and helpful the entire time from arranging Taxis to get me to do day trips to shuttles on elsewhere I needed to go and best of all there is a pool to help cool off considering how incredibly hot it can be in Nicaragua. The hotel is located in a very central location where you can walk one to two blocks down for food bars, and anything else you might need. Also they close the front gate at night so it’s super secured. Most importantly, this hotel is owned and operated by Nicaraguans if you support traveling ethically to ensure your money is circulated among the local economy and people.

Some of the pool towels appeared quite worn, and the bathroom could use a bit more attention. The sink water had a cloudy look to it, which made us hesitant to use it even for basic things like brushing teeth. Pillows were small and not very comfortable.
Overall, the hotel was okay, but I was hoping for a better experience.

The hotel is beautiful, you are welcomed at the door. Self parking but if you are able to find a spot in the evening in front of the hotel there are cameras. The reception speaks English and Spanish and she is wonderful. We were walked to our room and a gentleman turned the AC on for us. The room was clean and nice towels, soap and extra blankets. The restaurant staff are wonderful and the food is delicious. The pool is beautiful and clean. We are so happy with our stay. Thank you all!!

We stayed here 7 nights; It’s an old building- the washroom ceiling leaked in all heavy rains; all regular staff were very friendly and helping; the front desk need be more welcoming and open. We requested upgrade when checking in but was denied; we had to request for tea; 2 nights before departure they offered a better room but it was too late. The TV was too small and only 1 English Channel; not smart TV- can’t connect our device even with the HDMI connector.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. We are talking about large marble staircase and we had a very clean classic room. It is a luxurious establishment. This hotel is amazing . We were greeted by the front desk staff 2 hours prior to check in and thankfully they allowed us to store our luggage’s in a locked room until check in . This was so helpful as we were able to explore Granada without the extra baggage . The staff is so welcoming and truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home and at peace . The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning . Everything is so well kept . The history in the hotel is so well persevered and the hotel staff seem to be well educated on the hotels history . The rooms feel luxurious . We had 3 rooms and each one of them were equally as gorgeous. You truly cannot go wrong staying here . You are so close to town yet the hotel is not loud or does not feel busy . I will make sure to stay here every single time we visit Granada and would recommend this hotel to all of our family and friends who often visit Granada . Truly a 5 star experience .

Stayed here for two days while travelling through Nicaragua. The hotel staff had excellent English, very hospitable and able to solve any small issues. They also recommended tours and were able to book them for me at a very reasonable cost. The room was clean, very large and the A/C worked quickly and was quiet. Pool is amazing and location is right in the heart of Granada. Everything was within 5 mins of walking. Will be staying here again next visit!

I stayed here for two nights on 8/7/2023 and 8/8/2023 and had a wonderful time. Loved how safe i felt. The neighborhood location is safe, people from outside cannot come into the hotel and I did like that. I also enjoyed the pool, and the staff who is super professional and extremely attentive. I highly recommend this hotel. Rene the owner was super nice, easy to talk to and so was daisy the daytime front desk lady. Both made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here next time I'm in Granada. ~HB~

The hotel is beautiful. Not only beautiful but clean. When you walk in the room you smell cleanliness. I love how they have a restaurant on site that is every economical and good. Manager, Daysi, is top notch. She was so helpful and accommodating. She went out of her way to arrange transportation and provide us with off site recommendations. She’s just a down right sweet person.
