The hotel is very nice and conveniently close to the bus station, which makes it perfect for spending your days out exploring and then coming back for a comfortable night’s sleep. The restaurant on-site is also very convenient, though I wish there were a bit more variety in the menu. That said, the breakfast menue is great – especially the pancakes, which were a highlight.

A basic room nothing fancy. The microwave and fridge they said you could use were downstairs in the kitchen and you must ask to have someone put things in or out for you. Staff was friendly and helpful. Noise was not too bad, there was ac (not needed) and heat, neither were needed.

Good things about the hotel what is next to bus station. Check in staf is very friendly and informative. Hotel room have very small bed what can be confortable for one person. So room looks very basic and had strange smell. In room have coffee machine what can be helpful if you take early morning bus. In mi bed i find some black hairs what i believe is was cleaners hairs but hope is not previous costumer. For 45 dollars room is really looks overpriced and this was sale rate. So next time if i need back i look for another option.

Hotel La Estacion is an affordable and comfortable budget accommodation in San Miguel. The free parking is a great perk, the WiFi is strong, and the on-site restaurant offers good and fast service. The location is a short walk to centro, but very convenient from the major highways and right next to the Bus Station.

I had a great time traveling by myself in in San Miguel de Allende and this hotel was perfect. While location is not ideal (about a 20 minute walk to city center) the walk was fine in the mornings and at night I took cabs back (US$2.5 or about 50MEX pesos). I mostly used my room as a \"dormitory\" because I was out most of the day. By the time I came back I really just slept. They have a good restaurant downstairs, and at night time there's a taco place across the street that sells deliciously authentic and super cheap eats.

This is a no frills, clean and simple hotel. Staff always willing to accommodate. Simple, excellent cafe. Olga is my preferred waitress!!! But all offer great service and always with a smile. Best of all, reasonably priced. I live around the corner and use this hotel regularly for my visitors and family. Wish they served beer and wine. The rooms would be nice with a smal refrigerator. But that is part of why the price is so reasonable. Keep it simple.

The hotel was very convenient for us as we arrived by bus. The food in the restaurant was excellent. With no air conditioning and only a fan, the room was warm when we arrived but cooled off as soon as the sun went down. It is somewhat of a walk into town but we enjoy walking. My husband enjoyed the TV and WiFi was good. Everything was very clean and the toiletrees were very nice. We would recommend this hotel.

The plus: it's located next to a small grocery store. The minus: noise. Lots of it and it's constant. I had to wear earplugs the entire time I was there in order to get to sleep. Also, patrons are noisy. Breakfast is good. The staff are nice and will call cabs for you. It's a 15-20 minute walk up the street into the downtown through a slightly iffy but safe neighborhood during the day. I'd stay closer to the historic area and somewhere quieter, personally. But if you're on a tight budget and have earplugs, go for it. It's very clean. I didn't see a single American in the place and I was there for 8 days so it's mostly people who come there from Mexico City.

If you don't want to stay downtown San Miguel, this is the perfect place. We rented a car and needed parking. Hotel has good parking and is just beside the bus station, which gets you to downtown fast and easy. No a/c makes it kind of warm depending on the weather, but it's bearable.

Pero para términos de recomendaciones, pues la regadera me encantó. Tenía los servicios básicos y lo que no estaba en la habitación, al solicitarlo la atención era inmediata.
