Showed up to the hotel place looked completely disgusting.. inside and the outside as well. Windows were open in the room, blankets were all torn and dirty, smelled like cigarettes, no parking available, so many homeless people staying in there not safe at all. Didn’t end up staying here fought with the front desk for deposit back horrible experience DO NOT STAY HERE

The most filthy and terrible place I have ever stayed in. Uncontrolled homeless situation, cannot sleep or feel safe. Sheets and towels were not changed once. It not recommended for anyone. It’s not budget savings, it’s suffering.

For the most part, pretty alright. It's a good, budget friendly motel to stay at and is surrounded by several good options for food (Panera, Raising Canes, diners, etc.). Cleaning could use some improvement, but it's not awful. Only complaint is that you probably shouldn't expect a TV remote in your room. I asked for one, and it didn't work.

I booked a non-smoking room, but they gave me a smoking room instead. I experienced chest pain and difficulty breathing when I woke up the following day. On the second night, I left the window open all night to get some fresh air. The AC is old—you can't even see where the power button is—and there was no remote control.

Do not do it. It’s worse than you can imagine, ripped up dirty sheets, blood on the bathroom walls, people sleeping on the stairs. Also I canceled my stay they said they would refund me, never did, and when I called they disconnected their phone.

The place was full of homeless/transients laying under the stairs and all their stuff was in front of the stairs going up to the second floor, Room smelt like it had been smoke in, was supposed to be a non smoking room. Parking was in a super small parking lot, not made for a full size truck.

I stay here when the rate is cheap and the beds are comfy. But, because its full of transient guests, they don't bother you but they hang our on the stairs smoking and you have to ask them to move to get by and they party all night. The floors never seem to be mopped, rooms never seem to be all the way clean clean. The men that work at the desk are petty and money hungry, depends on who you talk to, rates change. So one might say $600 and the other $550. One may charge for hour late check out, one may not. Very shady business dealings. So when the rate is $50, which is all its worth, I put up with it but when they raise the rate on a weekday, its not worth it.

When trying to check in to the hotel, a drug dealer was blocking the entrance and yelling at me preventing me from being able to check in. I'm obviously not going to go back after that experience, yet expedia and the hotel refuse to refund me saying I should have talked to the hotel at the time of check in (When the drug dealer was there) awful disgusting and insulting experience.

The room smelled absolutely horrible. The air outside smelled better as the air inside was thick. It was so unbelievably dirty too. The bedsheet closest to the mattress was covered in blood stains and we tried finding a zipper to see if they even take that sheet off to wash it and we couldn’t find one. This means they’ve never washed that sheet. We were afraid for bedbugs. Sleeping on the street would honestly be cleaner than sleeping here which is exactly what happened. We ended up sleeping on the street cause we couldn’t find anywhere to stay by that time.

I spend approx 6 months of the year in hotels and motels for work and this may be the worst place I have stayed maybe ever. The room walls were dirty, there was no chair or desk, there was something on the pillow, a dead wasp on the floor. There must also be something unsavory going on because both nights I stayed there people came knocking on the door looking for someone. Would not consider staying there again and honestly wish I could get a refund.

Pros: this location is Prime location to Hollywood blvd and all the action, 7 min walk! It’s super convenient to get to major fast food restaurants within a 5 min walk! Super nice staff and very understanding! Cons: It was just my daughter and I and we went to Hollywood to celebrate her sweet 16 birthday on a “mommy and me road-trip” We had a bottom room with some sketchy characters around and it smelled like cigarette smoke. I told the office and they moved us upstairs immediately. They were extremely accommodating! All in all I would definitely go back again!

It had the basics for what you needed - bed, AC, bathroom. The towels and bed spread were coming apart and showed signs of abuse, but were functional. The location can’t be beat, especially for the price. I didn’t have any issues. The walls are thin.

There is a strong smell of smoking, although I booked non-smoking, then I guessed it could be from outside the room as it was almost most of the time. There was no toilet paper. There was only 1 not very clean towel. Then bed sheet looks like it was burnt or cut as it had multiple holes. It ok to stay here for 1 or 2 nights but no more.

Worst night ever! If possible, I would have rated my experience 0 stars. I know this is a cheap hotel, but I expected at least something decent. Here's a list of how it went despite the room recently been \"cleaned\":
- Blankets burnt/ripped and had some questionable stains
- Pillows were also stained and smelled like cigarettes
- The floor was sticky and burnt by some portable stove
- AC was beaten up (it worked, but there was some strange white powder near the vent)
- the windows faced a wall where pigeons nested
- Smallest bathroom ever! Couldn't even fit my legs straight when sitting on the toilet
- Random screaming in the middle of the night! I got scared because someone started banging on all of the doors
- Since it was barely \"cleaned\", the whole room smelled it was sprayed with the strongest Febreze yet somehow still had the scent of cigarettes. It made me dizzy and it took hours for the room to ventilate the smell away.

I then asked for a change of rooms, but they told us that it wasn't possible and only gave us a change of blankets and some towels. I only stayed for one night with my family, renting a total of 3 rooms, but it was the worst night of our trip!

This hotel was over-priced for the room. The bed was not the right size, the tv didnt work with the remote in the room rendering it unusable, the bathroom was unbelievably cramped to the extent i had to sit on the toilet sideways to not hit the wall in front of it, the floors had soft spots and were not level, the bathroom door wouldnt shut and hit the floor when open, the room door latch plate was missing screws and the door wouldn't shut on it's own as well as was hard to lock, the \"parking lot\" is suitable for a max of 4 cars safely and they painted in undersized spaces for 7, the bed cover blanket had stains as well as holes melted in it, the window-sills were stained, the shower curtain was too short and leaked all over the floor, overall this hotel stay cost 3 times what it was worth for 2 nights.

We’re talking hourly rates motel without the budget rate. $120? Oof. I have no standard for motel rooms and have stayed in the worst of the worst but I see the room and never went back. It is what it is. Bring your own bedding and towels maybe? The bedding was stained and filthy. Couple had towels on the bathroom from who knows.

Pros: No bedbugs and front desk was friendly and quick check in.

the guy at the \"lobby\" next door btw, was cute. Him and the girl were very nice and helpful. That's about it for positive things though. I didn't feel like my life was in imminent danger while I was in my room so I guess that's a positive.

The area around there is very dirty, but there's plenty of food and stuff in walking distance. There's a chick fil a at the corner, and a really good taco place a few blocks away.

The room itself was dirty, and kinda gross, but I didn't see any bugs inside the room at least. If you can afford to stay somewhere else, stay somewhere else. There are several hotels around the area that looked nicer. Even the Hollywood Hotel next door, which I'm guessing is owned by the same people, looked nicer.

I rented the room for 2 nights and despite complaining and not using the service, they still charge you.

Our stay was okay, not bad not good. Room was clean & had air conditioning wasn’t to bad for a one night stay. Did have noisy upstairs neighbors but the later it got quieter it got.
Only negative is they don’t have a parking lot so to find parking can be tricky on a public busy street & there’s also parking meters there but it’s a whole thing and shorta complicated to explain. It’s only free certain times and certain days. The receptionist explained it very well tho when we stayed doubtful about how the parking worked there.

This motel is in a rundown part of Hollywood. Unfortunately, this used to be a good area. Now it's filthy, with unhoused people everywhere, abandoned buildings, and bad smells.

The property feels unsafe as anyone off the street can walk right up to your door.

Many items (pics available) were in poor condition - burn hole in duvet, broken a/c housing, missing grommets on drapes, horrible mattress, and no towels.

You have to go to the motel next door to check in/out.

Would NOT recommend or stay there again.

First impression was walking into a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarettes, the smoke alarm was yanked out, no curtain in the bathroom, cigarette burns in the bedding, no curtain in the bathroom that looked out to a needle/ cigarette filled alleyway. We changed rooms and got one that didn’t smell like smoke, but was still dirty, eyelashes in bathroom, used toothbrush, a closet with nothing to hang things on, and a table without a top. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed! Not even you get what you pay for, this was beyond unsanitary and grimy.

It wasn't terrible for the price but the lot is super small, cannot get in or out if its pretty full with a minivan, and the 2nd lot is $15 even if your car wont fit in the first one.
After inspecting the bed for anything wrong off, we noticed stains/dirty spots on the sheets on the bottom like it was attempted to be hidden. There was also a used soap bar in the shower.
Personally i don't think i would stay again, but for the price it is ok

Cheap hotel that I stayed in for work. I wouldn’t take my family there. I may not even stay there again.

It was cheap and that was the only good thing about it.

Shower drain was broken but atleast it drained.
The room would have been on par with a New York studio that you see online… super tiny with just enough room to walk around a queen size bed. Shower just big enough for a single person to stand up in and turn around. You have to squeeze between the sink and the wall to ge tin th shower.

Parking lot only fits 6 cars but the driveway is just barely wide enough for a single vehicle to fit through and if the lot is full you get to practice reversing down a narrow alley.

It wa cheap and that wa the ily saving grace.

Had an original booking for Budget Inn, it was relatively cheap so I knew we were going on not expecting much. Upon arriving to the hotel, keep in mind parking is very limited and tight. There was no one to check in, and had to walk next door to H-Wood Hotels to do so. Check in was pretty smooth. We got the key for the room, and we were taken back by how small the room was compared to the photos shown online. It was the size of a child’s room. The room consisted of a bed, small bedside table, and TV that only had a handful of channels. The curtains for the window didn’t even cover the whole frame. AC unit was covered with dead bugs and other particles. Stains on the cover and sheets of the bed. Not sure what of, but definitely not somewhere you’d want to lay your head on. Bathroom consists of a small shower only big enough for one person to stand at a time. It was so uncomfortable to sit or stand anywhere in the room, we had to ask to be switched. Once again we go next door and ask if we could be moved to this side. I showed the check in guy all the pictures of the uncleanliness of the room, and offers to move me to H-Wood Hotel under the conditions of paying the difference of rooms. At that point we agreed in desperation to find anything better. We ended up paying an extra $40 for the switch. We get into the room to discover the bed was unmade as if someone had stayed there. It was late in the night so decided to just settle for the night. Neighbors didn’t let us sleep.
