This hotel is EXTREMELY UNSAFE and should be closed down. The door looked like it was broken in before and we able to open EASILY with a credit card on the very first try. We were not able to leave our stuff in the room when we went out.

This property is a disgrace to the Motel 6 brand. Let THAT sink in. Typically, don’t expect much and I’m not disappointed. Clean sheets. No frills. Great value for the price. Not here, however. The vinyl plank floor panels were duct taped down on nearly every seem throughout the entire room & bathroom. If the floor is THAT bad, replace it! Furniture was beyond beat up with scratches and chipping the particle board. The front desk looked like it was behind bullet-proof glass. Not sure if that was an intentional look or a reflection on Hollywood itself. It made the hotel seem unsafe, regardless. Elevator wasn’t always working (5th floor room). That said, the location is right off Hollywood BLVD close to the action but on a residential street which is the best of both worlds as far as Hollywood goes. The sheets & bathroom were clean. The front desk guy helped me with the self check in kiosk and he was very nice about it with a great snile.

This was basically the middle of it all, very close to the main parks, walk of fame, delcious food, and anything else you might need, say from a drug store or even a target. The crew here are awesome, rooms are clean, no bed bugs which is always important. Defiinitely recommend.

Pros: convenient location to Hollywood area attractions, Griffith Observatory, and exploring town. Walkable to tons of restaurants. Property was in decent condition and fairly clean for this price range.

Cons: parking around the area at least $30 per day, streets around the area are pretty dirty and stinky.

We had a good stay here. The only thing I want to mention is the parking fee is per day not per stay. I’m not sure how I missed that when booking but we ended up paying $90 extra for 3 day parking. The rooms were clean and the motel is conveniently located. There is no microwave so that kind of sucked. The mini fridge was helpful. In the room we did notice there was only one area with a power outlet. This was inconvenient for a family of 4, needing to charge multiple devices.

Decent but reliable stay at the Motel 6 Hollywood. It's tucked away off of the boulevard and it's rather quiet at night believe it or not. Could use a few touch ups to modernize the property but as long as you feel safe and secure... they did their job very well.

The room was in perfect order and the bed was surprisingly comfy. The front-desk staff was very friendly and helpful, as were the 24/7 security guards in the parking garage.

The amenities in the common area on the first floor were all coin-operated, including the laundry, and there was no change machine present; I would have used these if I could have swiped a credit/debit card.

A lot of noise, SUV do not fit to the parking, and I had to pay extra for another parking outside of the hotel. The elevator does not work; the next room smells to marijuana and the rest of the hall. The day that we arrived around 2am the next room has a party, and we report to the front desk and they did not anything.

A really great hotel option for an inexpensive stay near Hollywood Blvd. The place was clean, the room and bed were comfortable, and the water from the shower was warm and had some good pressure behind it. The room's A/C worked well and was decently quiet. Their Wi-Fi was complementary and was reasonably fast. They also have a parking garage onsite (basement level, under the motel), though I didn't use it as I had already parked elsewhere. Parking as of April 2026 onsite is listed as $30/day, in-and-out as often as you like. I spent a fair amount to park elsewhere (since I didn't know about the onsite parking until I actually arrived), a block or two away, and if I had to do it over again I'd have parked in the Motel 6 onsite parking garage. Parking is at a premium here and everywhere nearby, as it's a pretty urban area. That's not a knock against the motel - they have their own garage after all.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I even had some Amazon packages delivered (food, to save me the trip to a store) to the desk, and they received and stored the packages without issue. I know that sounds pretty basic (shouldn't every hotel do that, without issue?) but I was glad for it nonetheless and wanted to mention it.

Sound proof is no good. Noisy at times. Good location to Metro commuters, walking distance to Hollywood Walk of fame n Dolby Theatre, can see Hollywood sign on the mountain at Dolby Theatre. Good location. But motel is old. Overall happy with the experience at this price.

I’ve been to other motel 6s, and by far this one needs a lot of attention. The staff did their job, but the property itself needs major remodeling. You can literally hear everything from people walking down the hallway, the people next-door, and the dumpster truck picking up the trash outside. It would have been nice if they were to add the prefilled shampoo, body wash and conditioner bottles inside the shower as well like other hotel/motels do. Not all was bad. The property is located in a very convenient location. It’s literally walking distance from Hollywood Boulevard. Excellent choices for entertainment and eateries. Very convenient to everything. No need to drive anywhere. If you’re definitely on a budget, it’s a good place to stay at. It just may be hard to sleep if your a light sleeper.

The receptionist was rude seemed like he was annoyed for no reason . Jose is his name I believe . Also parking was no longer available in the parking garage that they offer for an additional $30 so it was pretty inconvenient that we had to walk about a block away to get back to the building and pay $38 at the nearest parking garage .

The parking felt safe
The front desk person Manny kept disappearing for a few minutes going into the employee room
I watched many guests walk away after waiting for him while I was doing laundry . The area didn’t feel as safe as I wanted to but the room towel decoration into a swan and the cleanliness made up for the rest .
I suggest they add debit card option to vending machines and to the laundry as well.
Manny was kind when he checked us in .

Be mindfull of this hotel that is in the middle of a street. Aware that hotel will not offer free parking. You have to pay a fee of $30 daily for the days you check in. If not you have to park outside of the hotel in the street of other parking that there far from the hotel.

The location is fabulous near shopping area, restaurants, coffee places and many landmarks locations.
Unfortunately, the parking fee is extremely expensive and the property doesn’t offer a pool but the rooms are clean.
I’ll return to this hotel in the future.

Room was clean. Was taken by surprise with the $30 parking fee. Got told I cannot leave my pet unattended in the room. In her kennel. If I did and they get complaints they will call me back to the motel. They did call about her crying. I was upset because they called me back to the motel about her being noisy, but yet there were MULTIPLE children running up and down the halls when we got there and until after 1am!

The hotel is not situated in the nicest area. Parking is $30 and in a very tight underground space, which they do offer valet. The rooms don’t even have shampoo, the room was very clean. No iron in the room either. But I think my biggest issue was the noise and the beds were uncomfortable. All through the night there were alarms going off, people pacing up and down the hallway, and really loud party noises coming from our window. If you want to rest, recommend staying somewhere else.

We were trapped for approximately 5-10 minutes, which caused severe panic and anxiety. During this time, the elevator did not open and operate and did not respond to the emergency button, or the emergency phone did not work and the alarm button. Thank God that we have a signal and we called our family and informed them what happened. After the incident nobody asked us if were okay. Please ensure the inspection and maintenance of the elevator so this will not happen again. Thank you

Room was ok served its purpose. Key cards didnt work had to go down 4 times to replace keys cuz I kept getting locked out. Tv had limited channels couldn’t watch the football game in my room but my cousin in her room was able to. Parking was a mess called early to reserve a spot they said none available then I arrived and they had a parking spot miraculously for me but I had already parked my car a couple blocks away at a different lot. Slow elevator made it feel like you’d be locked in and would take you to floors you didn’t press.

Upon walking in the room it just smells clean! You can really tell if a room is clean or not just by the first initial smell and all I could smell is fresh linen! The staff in the front desk were extremely helpful and answered all my questions. I am going to stay here every time I come to LA!
