Comfortable but not really a hotel
This is a hostel type of hotel e.g. towels not provided but could be hired and meals were buffet-style with minimal choice. Few facilities but it did have a bar. It was comfortable enough and the food was acceptable. It's location suited us for one night.

Great vibe in the heart of the Biesbosch
We had a great stay at Stayokay Dordrecht, the best of our 10 day trip in the Netherlands. It was so relaxing and the staff were all great. Really hospitable, fun and friendly. They gave the place a great vibe. Fantastic location too. Really felt like we were in the heart of the Biesbosch with so much activity happening on the river in front of the hostel. The food was excellent - much more choice than is listed on the website and great value too.

7 of us stayed 4 days for cycling the national park and a day on the water in canoes. Great spot for accessing the river and cycle routes. Connected to town by no4 bus. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast is really good.

Lovely hostel with a great location
An above average hostel that is handy to the city and yet set in a great location in the Biesbosch, the surrounding nature park of Dordrecht. Fantastic for walks or riding or kayaking.

set directly at a calm river it has a fantastic atmosphere especially in the evening. It was like a dream : three women pick-nicking on the landing stage out of nothing with no noise at all appeared a warship in dusk - well, it turned out to be a pleasure boat with some passengers on it, the last tour on this channel - gracht - or that day who waved to us.

Wilderness Camping?
Unlike the other hostels I stayed at during my trip, Stayokay Dordrecht is in a semi-rural area, surrounded by nature. There is a national park nearby where one can rent canoes or motorboats and explore the canal - plus there are plenty of walking and bicycle paths nearby. The first thing I noticed was exactly one double outlet for a 4-bed room. This is unforgivable in today's world - everyone travels with electronics that need to be charged, and it is very simple to add electrical outlets. Another problem is I paid in advance through Hotels.com and paid for one night too many. They said there was no way to give me a refund for the extra night - that I would have to go to Hotels.com, cancel the booking and do another booking. This proved impossible; so I ended up paying for one night that I didn't use. Even though it was my error, it seems the hostel could have done something to fix it. On the other hand the bathroom was in the corner of the room (very convenient), the staff were very friendly, and the setting was very nice.

Rummet och hotellet/vandrarhemmet var det som det utgav sig för att vara. Förvänta dig ingen lyx vistelse. Frukosten hade flera alternativ men saknade de varma. Där fanns område med sällskapsspel och bar på bottenvåningen. Rummet var rent tillräckligt om än lite spartanskt. Fattades någonstans att sitta.

Super aardig ontvangen, er was iets mis gegaan met de boeking. Maar gelukkig was er nog een super leuk en mooi wikkelhuisje voor ons beschikbaar. Met alle gemakken voorzien en een lekkere ontbijt mand inbegrepen, met voldoende broodjes en keus qua beleg. En yoghurt-Müsli en ook nog verse sap.

Hôtel qui a accueilli beaucoup de groupe scolaire même pendant le wk de Pâques donc on a eu droit à des bruits incessants dans les couloirs jusqu'à plus de minuit. Sinon l'hôtel se trouve près du parc de Biesbosch, le petit déjeuner est classique (charcuterie, fromage, œufs, différents pains, fruits, fromage blanc, confiture, croissant, jus de fruits et boissons chaudes au choix. Très bon accueil du personnel. L'hôtel était en travaux et tout était en bazar autour de l'hôtel et dans les couloirs.

Het hotel is gunstig gelegen vlakbij het natuurpark. Dit is het voornaamste pluspunt. Ook over de netheid van de kamer valt niets op te merken. Alleen de inrichting laat qua comfort te wensen over: geen kleerkast om iets op te hangen, enkel open rekken. Geen tafeltje om eens iets te noteren, betrekkelijk weinig licht, handdoeken kunnen niet te drogen gehangen worden. Maaltijdkeuze in 'restaurant' is zeer beperkt. Ontbijtbuffet is ook beperkt: geen eitje, geen koffiekoeken. aar tja, wat wil je voor zo'n prijs?

Situation idéale pour les amoureux de la nature, au bord du parc national. Par contre loin de la ville et de toutes commodités. Pour notre séjour avons trouvé le personnel du soir peu agréable. Refus de dîner à 19h alors que fermeture du self à 19 h 30, refus de nous louer des vélos, avons été obligés d'attendre le lendemain 9 h 00 pour en avoir. Sur les 4 Stayokay où nous avons logé ce sont les meilleures chambre et un cadre super, mais personnel pas top !
