We had a very disturbing and unsafe experience during our stay.
When we tried to arrange the bed for our children, we found a mouse trap under the kids’ bed, which was already shocking. Later at night, when I was about to sleep, I found two mice climbing on my bed. This was terrifying and completely unacceptable, especially since we were traveling with our young children.

We had no choice but to leave the hotel immediately in the middle of the night (2am). We were running out with our kids in fear, and no one was available at the reception to talk to. as there was no staff present.

I could not believe the access to my room. I had to go up a circular stair case, which was not very big, and somehow get my two cases up there.

In all my travels I have NEVER had to do that. Up normal steps is bad enough but to have to struggle up a circular stair case - crazy. I am 74 and found it very hard. If I had known about this I would have looked elsewhere.

When I got to my room I saw there was an air conditioner which I was very happy to see. It was a very hot day. I then saw the sign saying 10 euros to rent the controller. I bit the bullet and went down to reception only to be told it was 12.5 euros. I told him it said 10 euros and he said we need to change that sign.

I came down to breakfast and wanted some cereal. I could not see any dishes so asked the lady. She pointed to the normal flat dinner plates. I said I wanted cereal so she pointed to some glasses for me to have my cereal in.

The room itself was fine, quite good actually. However, there is a door leading to the four upstair apartments and as people came in the door was slamming and this went onto 1.30am.

Also, nearby there was some sort of gathering (I am not sure if has anything to do with the hotel) but that went onto 4.30am making it hard to sleep.

Also, if you can, try to turn your car around so you can driver straight out. When I got there there was only a space which I could park in. Trying to reverse out with so little room was very tricky.

Booked thos hotel based on photos and information that there are kids attractions and playground, when I asked about them was informed that the photos are to show what is around hotel and it is 20 minutes drive from hotel in Theme park which cost 47pp. Very little room totally different than on the photos.

We enjoyed our stay with a very good breakfast within a few minutes of shopping.One thing that was annoying which was nothing to do with the hotel were the rowdy people at 2,3,4 in the morning

This is a lovely place for a few nights. I only stayed one, as I was on business. The single room was adequate for my needs. It was clean, and well maintained.
The reception was manned by a lovely man who showed me all I needed to know.
Breakfast was a array of breads, cereal, meats and cheeses.

Very good food

good size room, only problem was no plug in the wash basin. Everything else worked fine. There was smell of new paint in the building so some decorating is in progress. Hotel has its own car park. Good selection at breakfast, and the evening meal was very good and a good choice of dishes.

Hotel Heere in Ramsdonkveer

Chose this Hotel as was within easy drive of Werkendam where I was working, It's a little dated but clean and does everything we wanted of it. My single bed was good but my wife complained of it being too soft?
Reception is hardly 'manned' but the restaurant next door is part of the building and presumably owned by them aswell so usually someone to contact which we had to do as the kettle wasn't working on arrival.
Parking is easy right outside and free.
We had room 2 on the ground floor and very near the front door, some guests went to work at 2am and were incredibly noisy coming down the stairs and talking loudly so maybe better to chose 1st floor and definitely not near the entrance
Wifi was the best I've ever had in a Hotel
We had a steak meal in the restaurant next door and was amazing, well recommended (but medium means rare - as in France!)

the hoel is situated in a good area with many aminities (lidl) close by. Some parts of the hotel can be improved such as carpets in our roon looks quite old, sink in the room but other that that its an OK place.

Very lovely quaint small hotel with the spirit.

Facilities were just what I was looking for. small ,quaint, and very friendly. Food was fantastic and served with lots of help the menu. Price was very fair. Actually less than I expected.

Kamer is aangeboden als 5 persoonskamer. Maar 3 bedden tegen elkaar met 40 cm ruimte alleen aan het voeteneind is echt beneden de maat. Teleurstellende ervaring.

Très mauvaise expérience. Chambre familiale pas du tout adaptée aux enfants.
Aucun chauffage dans la salle de bain : il faisait la même température qu’à l’extérieur, la fenêtre étant entrouverte et non chauffée. Le carrelage était glacé, totalement inacceptable avec des enfants.
La chambre est une mezzanine avec un escalier en colimaçon, dangereux et inadapté pour une famille.
Nous avons signalé le problème de chauffage, la réponse a été qu’ils ne pouvaient rien faire. Inadmissible compte tenu de notre séjour avec des enfants.
Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel.

Literie confortable mais organisation à revoir

Hôtel très petit et cosy. La literie était confortable et le petit-déjeuner très bon, avec un patron charmant au matin. Mais plusieurs gros points négatifs : aucune réponse à ma demande de lit bébé, j’ai donc amené le mien… et j’ai malgré tout été facturée. Facturation plus élevée que prévu, parking quasi inexistant et fermé après 22h. En plus, notre clé n’ouvrait ni le portail ni la porte principale : nous nous sommes retrouvés dehors tard le soir avec un bébé endormi et toutes nos valises, jusqu’à ce que des employés viennent nous ouvrir. Chambre étouffante, lampe défectueuse, porte des WC transparente et dangereuse pour un enfant. Dans l’ensemble, trop de problèmes pour le prix demandé, malgré des gens sympathiques.

Çok tatlı bir yerel otel. biraz eski ama temiz düzenli. kahvaltısı harika kasaba çok sevimli. biz çok beğendik. oda içinde ayna olmaması ve ahşap iç yüzeyler nedeniyle gıcırtı sesi dışında çok iyi bir otel.

Hôtel sympa, chambre familiale à améliorer

Accueil aux petits soins et petit déjeuner au top !
Cependant, en terme de confort, pour une chambre familiale de 5 personnes, il faudrait peut être prévenir les clients qu'il s'agit d'une chambre mansardée sur 2 côtés, accessible par un escalier étroit en colimaçon et qu'il est donc difficile d'y accéder avec ses valises et d'y circuler.
Certaines choses pourraient en plus être améliorées :
- un petite table dans le dégagement pour poser ses affaires, idem dans la salle de bain, des rangements, puisque la chambre n'est pas spacieuse (juste la place pour les 5 lits)
- une solution durable pour l'évacuation de la clim (garder la fenêtre ouverte n'est pas idéal sur la durée)
- réviser le pommeau de douche
La chambre est ok pour 1 nuit, mais pas plus compte-tenu des commodités.

Het was de meeste slecht overnachting die ik heb gehad. We hadden een kamer met tapijt maar we konden daar niet blijven omdat we allergisches zijn voor tapijt. Met een beetje moiete kregen we een andere kamer, maar ik moest zelf een beetje inspanning voor doen anders was niet mogelijke, want de hotel kon niks voor betekenen. De kamer die we kregen was reeds geverfd en rook naar verf rond 03:00 uur s'nachts werd op de voordeurvan de hotel voor lange dan een uur gerampt en heel hard, de kinderen schrokkenwakker van en we hebbenheel slecht geslapen. De kamers zijnheel gehoor je hoort elke beweging..dat wordt genaakt, om 6 uur stonden we al op want was te veel lawaai, ipv een goede nachtrust hadeen we een vreselijk nacht. Ik noem deze hotel geen hotel maar een hostel

Great little hotel!

Great little hotel in a nice, peaceful little Dutch town. Super nice \"patinaed\" but modern room. Very comfortable bed, and although the bathroom was a little cramped, the way they had been able to fit it into one of the corners of the old room was pretty genius. Excellent wifi. Very tasty breakfast, parking in the back yard, which was a little tight for my big Infiniti, but should be just great for most other folks. And last but not least, the guy at reception was super nice! Even gave me a little cookie that he had made himself that day. I'm definitely stay again if I'm in the area again.

Das Zimmer war vor allem auf der Empore sehr dreckig. Die stickige Luft war, trotz offenem Fenster (den ganzen Tag geöffnet und es war Oktober), kaum zu ertragen. Ich möchte nicht erahnen, wie es sich im Sommer anfühlt. Da half der kleine Ventilator auf der Empore auch nichts. Leider war durch das offene Fenster die Kirchenglocke im halben Stundentakt(Tag und Nacht) zu hören. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren super klein für 4 Personen. Es gab keine Ablagemöglichkeiten im Badezimmer und der Ablauf der Dusche und die Abluft funktionierten nicht. Man hatte auch im Badezimmer, durch eine Glastür (welche nicht bis zur Decke schloss) keine Privatsphäre (dies sollte man mit älteren Kindern beachten). Auch sollten die 2 Fernseher überdacht werden, da mit einer Fernbedienung gleich beide TV’s bediente. Positiv war das Frühstück mit frischem Orangensaft und der freundliche Empfang.

Prima hotel. Ramen stonden open voor wat frisse lucht, maar geen horren. Dus muggen. Dat vond ik wel een nadeel. Ontbijt is erg goed, veel keus. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het ontbijt was zeer teleurstellend omdat je als eerste inde ontbijtruimte zijt. Wil je dan vers fruitsap nemen, van de machine die er staat, komen de vliegjes u tegemoet en ligt uw glas vol met de beesten. Goedemorgen!!! Duidelijk niet gekuist de dag ervoor.
De trap, in het bijhuis, is net goed genoeg om je benen te breken als met bagage naar onder of boven moet.
Leuke groep met jongeren die dan ook nog na 23 u luidruchtig zitten rond te lopen. Niet slaap bevorderend. Het was de eerste keer maar dan ook de laatste.

Sehr tolles Hotel. Schönes Zimmer, top Frühstücksbuffet ond eine tolle Atmosphäre. Einziges was wir zu bemängeln haben ist die Hellhörigkeit des Hauses. Jedoch toll, dass Ohrstöpsel da waren.

War im zweiten Gebäude untergebracht und das Zimmer war bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen eine Katastrophe. Es lässt sich nur an einem Fenster das Oberlicht öffnen und dazu nur kippen. Ergebis: es war höllisch heiss und der Ventilator war auch keine Lösung. Hab mich in der Nacht ein paar Stunden in mein Auto gelegt, weil es nicht zum Aushalten war. Das Nebengebäude ist in die Jahre gekommen und ich hatte auch Anhand der Fotos mit Parkett/Laminat gerechnet. Das Beste war das Frühstück, obwohl es nur Durchschnitt war. Hätte ich schlafen können, wäre die Bewertung anders ausgefallen. So war es eine Zumutung. Also zumindest im Sommer kann man das Hotel nicht buchen.
