We have a great stay. Super convenient for Efteling. The kids loved the bunk beds, but the non-bunkbed was way too soft. The kids loved the mini golf and games space. Breakfast was nice but a bit chaotic with the layout. We would definitely stay again for a visit to Efteling.

Perfect stay for English speakers looking for a close place to stay if you’re visiting Efteling. It was only a 10 minute walk and very convenient access to the park and other kinds of transportation. The rooms themselves are nice, clean, and comfortable. The only thing that was confusing was figuring out how the electric works because of its power sustainability living but they quickly explained that you need your key card for it to work which was pretty cool to see. Overall though a good experience and the restaurant downstairs has some amazing food!

The location is perfect for a visit to Efteling. There is a big carpak next to the hotel which is shared by a little supermarket and a couple other shops. It’s free to park in there for as long as you need. No cameras so no need to give your reg.
The hotel is a brilliant location with 5-10 mins walk to the park. The hotel will give you directions. We had to move our park tickets to the following day as immigration took too long getting off the boat. We drive to the hotel but called in at the Lidl down the road for room snacks. There is a large smart tv in the room so we all chilled chilly watching Netflix.
The beds were incredible and so comfortable.
There is a microwave and fridge you can use close to the bedrooms and I also saw a washer and dryer for people to use too. All in all, I’m really happy we choose this hotel.

We headed to the reception area where there is a lovely bar, indoor play area for young children and mini golf outside also. Just the perfect hotel to relax whilst the kids burn off some steam. Highly recommended

Brilliant stay. We got the flexi bus from Amsterdam and it's just up the road and round the corner. Check was great we had Chris who was lovely and full of information. We were informed if you don't wish to have house keeping during your stay you can either have one free breakfast for a £10 voucher toward food in the restaurant downstairs. The room itself was spotless and very clean. The bathroom was a big wet room and great temperature. Free tea and coffee in the room was well received. The tv also had a vast amount of channels in all languages.
There is a supermarket behind the hotel or a Lidl down the road. Opposite Lidl is a thrift store which i recommend a rummage through. Of if you've forgotten something and want something cheap. There was also a safe in the room and plenty of space for luggage.
They also have a bar which is drinks only open slightly later than the restaurant. The restaurant was great. We had a lovely waitress, some soft drinks, a pizza and the pork snitzel and used our money off voucher. There is a bakery over the road and the supermarket round the back does lots of bakery items should you want to pre buy food and drink before going into the theme park. There is also a cafe over the road that is reasonably priced but was closed the night we were there.
We were a couple who went and stayed in room 143.
We are from the UK so booked hotel and theme park tickets separate.

The room was clean and spacious. We loved the bar, kids areas, and bar staff was very friendly. Within a 10-15 minute walk to the front gate of Efteling, and drive-able to other restaurants and shopping. We loved having a market directly beneath the hotel. We just wished there was at least a mini refrigerator and/or microwave in the room. We bought some perishables (cheese, meats) from the market and couldn't store them anywhere cold.

This hotel is great. It's the third time we've stayed in it over the last 10 years.
This time we were a party of 20 spread over 4 rooms.
There's plenty of space for children to run around and play. Lots of comfy seating in the bar. The prices in the bar are OK.

The hotel is built on top of a supermarket which is open until 22:00 every day, so super convenient for getting drinks and snacks if you don't want to pay hotel prices for everything.
We didn't use the restaurant this time as we had a couple of very picky children and a child with allergies with us but we used it previously and it was very convenient.
This time we went for Dominos and kebabs which were both available within a few minutes walk from the hotel.

This hotel is perfect for the night before Efteling trips and very family friendly. Just fully read the room description and make sure you pick a room with beds at a suitable height for your child's ability. Some of them are very high.
None of our rooms had fridges this time.

We would definitely stay there again.

We chose to stay here as we were visiting Efteling - we were very pleased with the location as it is about 10 minutes’ walk away from the park! Free parking with EV charging by RFID card. There is a supermarket round the corner and a couple of restaurants dotted about not too far away. The room was lovely and breakfast was delicious, lots of options at the buffet. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent restaurant on site for dinner & breakfast. Only downside no bedside tables, just a rack for your phone or book but nowhere to put a cup next to the bed.

A Delight Near Efteling

Arrived a little early after long flight. Our room was ready and we were able to check in and crash. All of the staff, from the desk, restaurant, cleaners, bar, were super friendly and gracious. The next morning, it’s a short walk to the park which is also a charming place.

We enjoyed the 6 bunk room. It was a little tricky to navigate the room when the lower bunks were in use. The area around the hotel is great with dining and options for entertainment within an easy walking distance. There are a lot of options to keep kids entertained at the hotel, unfortunately it was raining and we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor areas. It was nice to find board games that could be enjoyed in the lobby though. Overall it was a nice property and we would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed our stay, super friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and really nice rooms. The food and service in the restaurant was good with enough choice and flexibility for kids. The hotel was clean and well taken care of but a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms since I found some hairs in the shower and in one of the beds. Still, great place to stay and if I ever come back to the area I will definitely stay here again.

I have 3 small kids and this place was perfect! We were jaded after a whole day in efterling, we were able to eat dinner downstairs and headed straight to our room. The breakfast was awesome for the kids too, there's a pancake making machine, cereal, fruits, bread etc. There's a play area in the cafe area for the kids after breakfast. It's also an hour away from rotterdam, utrecht and the other cities. Would love to come back!!

I know it’s for security but I just don’t like not being able yo leave if I want to and also good to know if you need to catch a flight from the airport 1.5 hours away.

Modern and slick looking guesthouse. Main traffic is to Efteling theme park. Last room available was a room to sleep 5, so not brilliant value. Essentially, slickly designed bunkbeds with minimal floor space and small bathroom. Would be handy if you had 3 kids. Ever since booking, I was bombarded with emails asking me for a variety of information to make check in easier and adding extras - which I did. When we arrived, they could not find the booking and it randomly turned up under my son's name. Breakfast was expensive for what it was but the surroundings were nice. We mentioned a gluten free person in our party at check in but it seemed to be a complete surprise at breakfast and we were rather grumpily told we should have let them know! There was a air hockey machine and pool table and good bar area. The styling was disguising some of the basic qualities though. Laundry carts were left everywhere and we had to walk past storage piled up in the corridor to get to our room.
Supermarkets and shops directly nearby and easy parking. There is a great Greek restaurant nearby too. You can even walk to the Efteling. On balance, we would have liked it better at a more reasonable price.

This hotel is situated in an excellent location for a visit to Efteling as there is just a 5 mins walk to the park. It has a lot of amenities intended for the younger guests and my son really enjoyed using them. The rooms are very nicely decorated and beds are very comfortable. In a room occupied by 4 persons (as in our case) it was a bit difficult to manage the space in view of the luggage. Overall a great experience

We spent a week at the Guest House Hotel in Kaatshevel and we loved it. Great patio, restaurant and staff. All spoke English and we felt very welcome. Comfortable beds and clean and crisp bedding. The rooms are smallish by Canadian standards, but we had all we needed.
