Equipe réception et petit-déjeuner très agréable. Localisation très pratique à 2 pas de la gare (mais néanmoins calme et sûr) et à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville. J'ai eu une belle chambre rénovée avec goût et très confortable (literie top, frigo, machine à café/thé, nombreuses chaînes tv, éclairages chaleureux). Seul bémol : je n'ai pas trouvé les \"amenities\" salle de bain à la hauteur du standing/prix (seulement 2 gros flacons muraux de gel douche/shampoing 2 en 1 et serviettes de toilette fines et un peu élimées). Je comprends la préoccupation écologique mais ajouter au moins un flacon mural de lait corps et après shampoing et/ou possibilité de cotons/pantoufles à la demande serait judicieux.

This has been a very bad choice. The hotel is by the Motorway, so there is noise. I have upgraded my room for one with a balcony. The balcony has the view of the Motorway. The rooms are dated, furniture is stained, chipped and the pillows are small. The tolilet is in front of the shower, and there is no curtains. The tolilet seat and tolilet paper got wet.

It was a good stay. Very cozy, the couple things we didn’t like was the shower pressure was barely there, felt like our room wasn’t being cleaned, we got fresh towels and our bed was made but other than that nothing seemed very clean.

This property has no adequate parking, charges you €17,50 while this is not specified upon making a reservation. When finalizing a d paying for the reservation, we get an email that the restaurant is under renovation. When we got there it was the whole lobby and areas towards the elevator were under renovation. Horrible. Definitely not worth $207 a night.

Nice hotel, ideal for an overnight stay or longer

I stayed here overnight, coming on Eurostar and changing at Brussels. It was very convenient, being next to the station (turn right out of the Centrum exit). It was a quality hotel, with welcoming and friendly staff. My room had everything I needed, including a kettle. It was an ideal place to break my journey, and Breda is a very pleasant town - I would have liked longer to explore it, and I'd be happy to stay at this hotel again

Hotel located in a convenient location, next to the train station (city center walkable in 7 mn). Renovations in progress but not noisy, and the new rooms are very nicely decorated, with great amenities such as pillow mist!

Very good. Airco did struggle a bit with the very hot weather. Delicious breakfast and the staff were very helpful in every way. There were smart coronavirus precautions while keeping a friendly and personal atmosphere. Let us leave our bags there the day after before departure, which is great since its right next to the station.

I had a great stay at Apollo Hotel Breda City Center! It was just me and my son as we stayed for Corso Zundert. I loved that it was so close to the train station (only a 2-minute walk!) and not far from the Grote Markt area. The staff was friendly and my room was clean and spacious. I loved that they had a \"Go Green\" option with the room cleaning as well! I used my voucher to get a hot chocolate, which was delicious! If we go again next year, I would definitely stay here again!

2 single beds pushed together!

The double room was not a double bed. It was 2 single beds pushed together which was very frustrating when 1 of us would end up slipping into the middle.

Telephoned reception to ask for more tea, coffee, milk and sugar as only 1 sachet of sugar was provided and 1 sachet of powdered milk. Receptionist told me to go downstairs and collect it. Not very good customer service skills at all.

Overall the hotel was nice enough, just the 2 minor complaints. Good location, right next to the train station and a 2 minute walk to the park which was lovely.

Apollo Hotel Breda is definitely a good hotel but we were a bit unlucky with some very noisy neighbours. That happens sometimes, just when I thought I have to warn staff after more then 1 hour, these neighbours fell drunk asleep. When I mentioned next morning to the staff they did everything to make our stay as good as possible. So my advice: a stay at this hotel is comfortable. Perhaps you might hear some trains but the hotel is well isolated.

Beautiful city. Hotel is right next to the train station and easy walking distance to many restaurants. Hotel room was very hot despite air conditioning. Housekeeping never emptied our room garbage or took away dirty cups and such, as they do in other hotels. Reception staff was very pleasant.

- breakfast was good, cooked to order (no yoghurt, no fresh fruit)
- ample opportunity to charge cellphones, tablets etc.in the room
- good wifi
- bathroom adequate
Minus:
- room size was absurd, much smaller than description, impossible to move around
- somebody had been smoking in our room
- one day roomservice arrived at 16.45 when we were resting from a day in the city. There was no possibility to come back later, so unmade beds etc.
- many stairs to reach our room
- No possibility to regulate temperature, despite open window room was too hot (25 - 27Celsius)
- bathroom light and ventilation comes on by sensor, which malfunctioned. Lightshow and noise through the night
- noisy in general

Convenient and comfy

A convenient spot, a very short walk from the newly rebuilt train station in Breda, so when you fly into Amsterdam the Inter City Direct Train has you in Breda in under an hour. The Apollo is a thoroughly decent place to stay, not full of bells and whistles, but comfy, and welcoming. Decent bar, good if not massive bar menu helpful friendly staff. Breda itself is a really nice little city, the park is s short walk away and just the other side of the park is the city centre with lots of shops bars and on a summer evening most have seats outside and is really nice spot to people watch.

The hotel is a very short walk from the modern main station at Breda. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. The room was a good size with everything you'd expect. The only negative was that it did have the smoked glass toilet door, so beloved of Apollo hotels (why, I don't know!).

Although the hotel is right next to the railway we weren't disturbed by train noise. Our room was on the side of the hotel, so that probably helped. The breakfast seemed a little expensive, so we didn't bother with that.

The centre of Breda is a short walk across a nice park from the hotel. It only took about 10 minutes. Breda impressed us with the number of bars and restaurants it had. There is some interesting older buildings and plenty of shops. It's certainly not Amsterdam but we enjoyed it.

Apollo Hotel Breda City Centre room 314

My wife and I spent 6 days in the hotel to see the area and the Zundert flower festival (a spectacle not to be missed). The hotel is ideally situated for Breda Central Station and the main bus terminal, a 3 minute walk (we both felt safe walking day and night in the station vicinity. The town centre is approximately a 10 minute walk.
The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.
The room was comfortable and clean and quite for the total period of our stay. The view from the room looked over the station and bus terminal, something going on day and night, however I will repeat myself room 314 remained quite at all times.
We had no meals in the hotel so we are unable to make comments on this side of the hotel service.
Both my wife and I would return to the hotel should we ever wish to visit the area again.

Last minute booking for personal visit

I reserved a double room (this was the only one they said they had left). On Expedia, the cost was Euros 119 plus local tax. When I went to check in, the lady at the desk said, \"Oh, there is only a single room left\". No difference in cost was offered. She then tried to charge my credit card for Euros 183! When I showed her the copy of the reservation I booked, she replied that this additional charge was for \"services most people use and must have added to their bill at the end\". I told her I did not want to pay this, and she made only the original charge, but again did not give a discount for the inferior (much smaller) room with a single bed.

Breda-lovely town.

Hotel is less than 5 minute walk from the station and is in lovely quiet area. The town centre is only a 5-10 minute walk away through a lovely park. The town centre itself is great too-plenty of places to eat drink and shop. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Breda. When we visit again we will stay at this hotel again.

Convenient Hotel near city centre

I found the rooms to be large and modern, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel so close to the train station. The Hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. Overall, the Apollo is a very comfortable place to stay when traveling on Business or for Pleasure.

Lovely hotel well placed - only 5 mins stroll through the park to the city . Easy access via rail,only at the moment some major work around station which means a walk over a tall gantry at the end of platform 8 . Hotel not noisy . Only grouch is breakfast does not equate the cost - a bit more choice and served at table would be suitable .

Hotel was clean and fairly convenient for the railway station - although at the moment with all of the road works a 2 minute walk from the railway station to the hotel takes around 12 minutes. Nothing really close to the hotel and so had to get a taxi to dinner into the center of town. Be prepared to wait for a taxi as never seemed any waiting outside of the hotel

The basics were very well done: comfortable bed, good hot shower, very clean room, friendly and helpful staff.
The \"extras\" were not so complete: no mini-bar, no apparent room service, internet was extra cost and confusing with disconnections due to more than one device.
It is a 15 minute walk from the train station because it is around the back of the station and you have to walk around using an underpass. (The Google Map was not very accurate about how to really get there--with a suitcase take a taxi for 6 Euros.)

I booked this hotel based on the high rating it received and on it's proximity to the train station in Breda....you cannot get any closer. This hotel does NOT live up to the ratings. It is dated, the carpeting is worn and the overall feeling of the hotel is dark and dreary. I parked my car (an extra €15 per day) and walked in across the patio. There were cigarette butts everywhere and cleanliness was lacking everywhere. The staff were accommodating but not that friendly. Need wifi or want to watch TV in your room? Of course you do! That's €10 per day extra! Breakfast was an outrageous €18.95. My advice is to look elsewhere. They nickel and dime you for everything here. My first and last stay.

Second time staying at the Apollo Breda. I had a corner room on the first floor. The room size was good and the room well appointed. There is some noise from about 6am with trains from the railway station but I was aware of this from the location. There is a good choice for breakfast. Last minute. Lucked in.

Stayed here with my brother recently as we couldn't get accommodation in Amsterdam due to the dance festival. It is very handy for the train station to visit other places, although Breda itself is lovely, really good for shopping and food and some brilliant bars. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean and the staff were lovely. Breakfast wasn't included in our stay but I'm a big breakfast person so I opted in and the buffet literally has everything you could want to wake up to. Very pleased.

Well located hotel for Breda

Check in was prompt and efficient undertaken by pleasant and helpful staff. Room was a contemporary, clean, light and airy on third floor with double opening French windows overlooking road. The only facilities that the room lacked were drawers for clothing and kettle to make hot drink. Wi fi free in reception but $12 in room. Buffett breakfast was served in a pleasant clean ground floor location and staff were attentive to ensure that breakfast were regularly checked to ensure availability.

Overall a really pleasant stay in a good location for the train station and the city of Breda.

Overall nice hotel

Was not as near the town centre as we hoped, but was right next to main train station,although centre was about 10 minutes walk away and was very easy to find. Bottled water bought from the hotel bar was very overpriced ( €7.00 for a bottle!!) Breakfast was very nice, varied continental. Free wifi in reception.Would stay here again.

Room is comfortable but expensive for what it is. It is bang next door to the station and you can hear the trains.Lastly the TV system is overly complex and doesnt let you watch iunternational TV without a charge which is ridiculous in todays connected word.

Business hotel next to station

OK, but the free wifi in the lobby didnt work whilst I was there ans they charge fro it in the rooms. also scandalous was charging for BBC1 and BBC World. Thought the hotel was expensive for what it offered.
