The staff were all super friendly and smiley!! The hotel is very clean and well cared for. We received a room upgrade when we arrived and were so happy. Lots of space, comfortable bed, huge shower, fridge. nespresso coffee machine, kettle and fridge. Easy access to the freeway and nice restaurant and meeting space. Would absolutely stay here again.

My second visit to Postillion hotel. Easy to reach via motorway network. Facilities are great and staff helpful, Also good restaurant and bar, basically everything you need when travelling on business. Definitely recommended

Lovely hotel , staff where so friendly and nothing was too much trouble … We stayed in a suite and facilities were excellent , very spacious.
Only downside was this time we did not travel by car so getting anywhere had to be carefully planned … Brilliant app called 9292 which taxi driver recommended for planning your trips … 15 minute to bus stop which took you into Dordrecht which cost about €2.20 compared to a taxi which was €22 … Highly recommend this hotel

No AC in the hotel, it's too hot in the rooms

I can't believe that a 4 star hotel doesn't have AC installed.
We stayed for 4 nights and I didn't get any good sleep beacuse there was no AC in the rooms and it was too hot inside. I aksed at the front desk the first day and they told me they only have be tilstion in the rooms. In 22nd century
I didn't check before booking so I'm writing this so somebody else don't mske the same mistake
Also the lightning in the room was teribble.
The staff is ok and polite but beacuse of the AC and the lights in the room I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

First time in Dordrecht

This was our first time visiting Dordrecht. We really liked the hotel and had a very pleasant stay. The beds are very comfortable. The room is very clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The location is good. About 3 miles from the train station. They also have bicycles you can rent. We would definitely stay there again. My only complaint is that the room is warm. I would’ve preferred it to be cooler while we were sleeping. But it was a wonderful hotel room otherwise

Having recently stayed in one of the recently renovated comfort rooms, I have to say that the standard rooms are not comparable in terms of size, comfort and facilities. Regrettably we couldn't find an upgrade. It would be nice, for the price, to have at least tea/coffee making facilities in all rooms.

Overall a very decent stay. This was a 1 night stay on business.
Good location next to motorway
Checkin was fine. Mini Gym good, though the motion sensitive light meant I was on a bike in the dark.
Breakfast was well laid out
Shame there was no tea/coffee in room. I wasn't aware it depended on room type

Disaster at Dordrech dont do it!

From start to finish.

Hotel is shabby, our room was like a police cell. Bed too soft. Bathroom was dirty. Splash Mark's on the wood by the toilet and under the sink a d on floor.
Empty toilet roll on the dispenser.
Chipped paint on doors and walls. Scruffy dirty dump
Checked in and checked out inside 15 .minites.(inclusive of waiting time to do both actions) explained to staff when they stopped chatting to themselves the issues. Said they would look at the room when they got around to it. So I left my number and checked in to the Van der valk over the road.
They did nit call me and have also tried to charge my credit card for a stay we could not possibly have.
Guess we wont be looking at this place again to stay..

Has great potential but incredibly under staffed. Took 1 hr to even be given a menu at my dinner table, same guy had to wait tables and run the bar, so not his fault mind you. Management problems are evident. Went the bar after the meal, surprise surprise no bar man working, had to wait for the waiter.. Its a shame as its a nice looking hotel with nice rooms and food was nice when i got it. Same problems at check in / out , only 1 staff member working, very unhappy she was too. This hotel has great potential with the right management.

I have stayed at this hotel over the last forty years through many changing owners. This last make over has been a disaster.

Normally I journey UK to Dordrecht by car arriving late evening for an early start next morning. They have now withdrawn the kettle, tea and coffee facilities. I am not minded to going to the reception rooms to partake of same.

Also they have changed the lighting and it is now at such a level it takes 10 minutes to adjust to the lack of luminosity.

All of the above stinks of they trying to save money.

So be it. I shall never ever stay at this hotel again or other Postillion hotel as long as this is their attitude to providing such a level of accommodation.

Staff marvellous. Friendly, generous, helpful.
The lobby and bar area were comfortable and
stylish. Bedroom was basic but clean with
cosy lighting. The only negatives were I didn't like
the smell of the hand wash or shower gel, and
there was no hairdryer. Hardly big complaints.
Value for money is excellent for bed and breakfast.

Prefer business hotels like this, free convenient parking a requirement for me. Clean rooms and top notch service at front desk and in dining room. Dinner reasonable and very good. One of best breakfasts (included in room charge) in Europe. Second stay as pleasurable as first. Conveniently located right off freeway. Next to a McDonalds was a concern at first, but only problem, if you see it as a problem, was seagulls carried food wrappers over to hotel parking lot, but they cleaned the lot up promptly each morning.

Nice and clean hotel and welcoming team

We were welcomed nicely and check-in procedure was fast. Rooms are clean, large and very soundproof (the highway is close and we heard nothing from it).
The gym area is nice and the breakfast buffet offer a good variety of tasty food.
The only little thing is that the mattress was too firm for me (but my husband had no issue so it's just a question of preference).

Prima hotel. Afwerking is hier en daar wat versleten of verouderd zoals losse platen en schroeven bij de wastafel.
Bij t inchecken werden we direct geholpen. Bij het uitchecken moesten we wat langer wachten.
Het ontbijt was voldoende maar de koffiezetapparaten waren beiden kapot. Er stond naar mijn mening te weinig personeel. Het roerei was op en dat duurde ook wel wat langer voordat dat bijge uld was. Verder prima verblijf vehad

Das Zimmer war groß aber wenig möbiliert. Ein Sessel im Doppelzimmer ist nicht viel. Es wäre Platz für zwei und einen kleinen Tisch gewesen. Der Fußboden, Vinyl, war stellenweise defekt und mit Farbflecken verschmutzt. Die Betten waren Horror. Ich wusste nicht, dass es so weiche Matratzen gibt. Beim Umdrehen verrutschen die Betten. Im Bad ist das Wasser nicht aus dem Waschbecken abgelaufen. Besonders unschön, wenn man sich rasiert hat. Wir haben es gemeldet, aber es hat sich keiner darum gekümmert. Am zweiten Tag hat keiner das Zimmer gesäubert, die Rasierstoppel waren Abends immer noch im Waschbecken. Das Essen war auch bescheiden. Mit zwei Wurst- und drei Käsesorten kann ich noch leben, unschön ist es aber wenn die Käsescheiben sich am Rand nach oben biegen und knuspern wenn man sie isst. Die Lage ist genau an einer Autobahnabfahrt, da kann man sich ja vorher informieren. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur anderen Seite.
