I consider this hotel only for daytime stays. I want to address a completely inaccurate review on the Expedia portal regarding this hotel. The room was tiny, and several bathroom towels were ripped in the middle. The heating system was not working from Tuesday night, and again on Thursday and Friday nights. Instead, portable heaters were provided for these tiny rooms, which quickly became uncomfortably hot, reaching over 100 degrees within a few minutes. At night, I had to turn the heater off, only to turn it back on when I felt cold again. There is no way I could stay at this hotel for an extended period; I would only consider it for daytime use.

The breakfast setup was awful as well. There's nothing much to eat except corn, bread, and Eggs. You can't call this a full breakfast—or Breakfast buffet.

The room was nice, had a very nice view. The location is perfect, you have to types of public transportation just outside the hotel. The staff was nice, I ate a few times at the hotel restuarant which was also nice...they had a very nice prosecco. The only thing that I found less was, that I left my hairbrush in the bathroom and when I came back I noticed that it was used, I found other hair in it. But I would stay again at the hotel for sure.

Coffee from the Starbucks in reception was
luke warm but best, got it, went straight to the lift, tasted it in the lift and had to drink it straight away before the lift even got up to the 3rd floor. Also, the noise from the vehicles going over the section of road that lifts to let the boats through made a rumble which whey trying to get to sleep was a bit of a nuisance. The beds were very comfortable though.

It was all good until 1 am we were sleeping and the shower woke us up.
It came on by itself, I could not get it to stop and tried for several minutes. Eventually it stopped and all was good.
At 2 am we once again woken up by someone trying to get into the room, by the time I got up to check it out a couple open the door with their room key walked right in.
They apologized and left

Good recovery by hotel

Hotel mattress was extremely hard so the elder fell off the bed on the first night. Hotel was quick to try to rectify it, with a change of room no less. Glad we paid for breakfast, which made it easier given our travel with senior.

Hotel was very helpful allowing me access well before check in time. As I was warned there is building work going on although this did not disturb as this was a weekend stay. Staff also stored my bags for a few hours after check out. I did not use the restaurant or bars

Renovation occurring during stay. Not mentioned when booking. Added an extra night stay after booking two nights. Resulted in having to change rooms. Doubletree was sharing Mainport reception and elevators due to renovations . Inadvertently ended up on Mainport hotel side stuck in stairwell. No signage on that door. Stairwell doors locked on each floor. Construction crew rescued us. Room card wouldn’t work on elevator in Mainport due to elevator switch over to Doubletree elevator. No signs or notifications. First room toilet wouldn’t stop flushing. Restaurant and pool not available. However, great location and breakfast.
Should be really good when renovations completed.

Booked for 5 guests last minute for the same night but a mistake changing my search pushed the booking 1 week ahead. Noticed immediately afterwards and tried to call but no answer on phone so started a chat with expedia. As I needed to book rooms urgently I was advised to make a new booking while they tried to contact hotel to cancel. Hotel refused and I ended up paying for 2 full stays for 5 people. One of which is wasted. No flexibilty even for a large order so very disappointed.

We picked the hotel as we liked the look of the roof top bar so disappointing to find out when we got there that it was closed for refurbishment. Telly in the room did not work and when reported was told they were aware of the issue last week but nothing was done to put this right. Fab breakfast, comfy bed and nice shower.

We were leaving on a cruise the next day so the location was ideal as it was a short tram ride away from the cruise port. It was also within easy walking distance of the food market as well as a shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was undergoing remodeling. The lobby had a terrible sewer smell and the power went out in my room in the morning while I was getting ready for work. The steamer didn't work and I had to ask the front desk to refill the shower gel ofter the bottle was empty for 2 days. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious even though they directed guests to eat next door since their own restaurant was under renovations. I doubt I will stay there again. I visit Rotterdam 2-3 times a year for work. Not impressed.

The staff was variable. Some exceedingly kind and pleasant but some abrupt.
The facility sent me a note the day before arrival indicating there would be construction in the hotel. I told them that it was not excellent of them to send this less than 24 hours before arrival. But we did not experience any noise.
The restaurant for breakfast was excellent.
The location of the hotel was very good.it had easy access to the harbor area which was nice.

There was a distinct smell of marijuana in our room. We told the front desk. They said they could put a machine in our room to help to remove the smell. We were told that the machine would be loud and would take up a lot of space in our small room. We asked to be moved to another room, but we’re told they were fully booked. At 11 PM two staff members came to our room and realized how bad it was. They moved us to the neighboring hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Doubletree, Rotherham and it was an experience that mey all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with a warm greeting and helpful information about the hotel amenities.

The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.

One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the service attentive without being intrusive.

The hotel’s location is another big plus, conveniently near all pulic transportation and within walking distance of the shopping area and restaurants made exploring the city easy and stress-free.

Overall, my stay at the Doubletree was excellent. The combination of great service, and prime location made it a memorable experience.

I make a reservation more than 6 months ago with Maas Hotel. When I arrived by address, I was not able to locate hotel by name. I was not notified about any name change . Than I found that price for my room is now much less, than I paid when I make a reservation . It’s not fare . Also room is extremely small . View from window is amazing . Also I recommend pay attention of dirty windows , they definitely need to be clean . Breakfast is delicious with huge selection

The hotel is across the street from the airport and you can arrive by the metro. The food was acceptable. The room was all right except a blood stain on the carpet. It was cold during my one night and I had trouble get the room heated. If I would stay one night for airport convenience again.

One of our party was given a room, when he went to his room it was already occupied ! I asked for a iron and ironing board to iron my shirt for the following day. The receptionist said that there was one at the end of the corridor. There wasn't !

Was disappointed after I contacted the hotel prior to arriving asking for early check in, was advised by a representative that I could arrive by 12 and it will be ready. I had a long overnight flight and was hoping the hotel would accommodate my request as other hotels have in the past. Upon arrival I found out that the room was not ready and was provided one after waiting for 3 hours.

Hotel was clean and the room amenities were as described.

I don’t think I will be coming back as their customer service was not helpful. I hope better communication is used next time to inform clients about their inquiries.

Nice staying here. Located by the maritime
Museum, boat taxis, boat cruises, the pedestrian area and bars are super close. The metro is located directly I front of the hotel. Parking g are rage about a 10 minutes walk and the shopping area is in that area as well as the tourist information center. Breakfast was pretty decent. The service was great as well. Was able to get a day pass for the metro at the front desk. Would stay again.

Ideal location for Eurostar/trams and metro and positioned within the old dockyard , so a lovely location.
Unfortunately on the second day after returning late we found the keys no longer worked and the room had not been cleaned or fresh towels. The colleague at the desk was very surprised and offered to have the room cleaned immediately and provide fresh towels.
Breakfast was ok , strange to view a working breakfast colleague taking food and eating it when they thought no one was looking !
Desk colleagues excellent and swimming pool was very quiet , with excellent views.
Nice to have a fridge , unable to adjust so setting was not cold enough.
