Excellent budget hotel

Located in the city centre, the hotel is very convenient. The room was exceptionally large, spacious, and bright. Although there weren’t many facilities, that’s expected from a budget hotel, so it wasn’t an issue. The bed was comfortable, the room was tidy and clean, and the reception staff were friendly.

If you’re simply looking for a place to sleep and shower without needing extra amenities, I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved that the hotel was in the center of Rotterdam. Hotel was very clean. I do suggest to add chairs equivalent to the number of checked-in occupants. This is to avoid having to lie or rest on the bed with dirty clothing.

Plus points:
(1) a very friendly, responsive, efficient and helpful crew of front desk staff
(2) a good big firm bed in the room
(3) a decent (if a bit tired) table to sit and work at in the superior double room
(4) good coffee at a reasonable price.

Negative points:
1.rooms bare and scruffy
2.common areas well heated, but the room was cold. (air-conditioning set up to 25 oC but still getting cold air)
3.only two power points, one right at the door and the other in the middle of the bedhead - so neither of much use for the rest of the room
4.minimal storage, just 3 hangers on the wall and only one bedside table
5.TV screen small and placed awkwardly up near the ceiling
6.housekeeping is included only once every 6 days (otherwise 20 per day).
7.minimal shelf space in the bathroom to put things on

I suppose you get what you pay for, but I expected better for EUR 115 per night for a 5-night stay. The room was below the ‘pleasantly budget’ standard that I remember from the easyHotels in Scheveningen and Amsterdam.

Location was in the center which is great. The room is clean, spacious (booked a quad room), had everything we needed. Internet was good too. However check out is at 10am which is quite early compared to all other hotels and they charge for luggage storage and hot water. In my opinion, tap water, even hot water, should be free. Staff are friendly. I would recommend.

Great but they put me in an accessible room which I hadn’t booked & then upon leaving the elevators weren’t working (sucks when you recently broke your knee).

Besides that it was a sparse but large and clean room. No soap in the bathroom though - good thing I brought my own. Friendly FD staff & great location & price

The location is perfect, rooms are very small and extremely basic, they didnt even had a hand towel. They charge for leaving the luggage before the check in (5 eur per piece), and it didnt feel very safe (see the pictures). Beds were comfy enough.

Easy stay at easy hotel Rotterdam

I recently stayed here for the weekend for a work trip. Ideally located in the city centre where most places are walkable, alternatively the public transport system is simple and effective. I felt the room was fairly priced and I would not only stay here again, but would happily recommend to others

We paid $175.76 and stayed in easyHotel Rotterdam for one night. In the room, it only has one plastic chair (no desk), and a bed, with bed head against one side of wall, and bed foot against wall across the room. The person sleep on the inside of the bed, has to crawl over the other person, to get off bed. Imagine at night, one has to use bathroom, and crawl over and disturb other person.
I have asked the front desk to change a room for me, they refused. I also asked the front desk to refund me, so I can find a hotel room somewhere else, they refused.

But other than that i don't see why people should choose to stay there.

Where do i start?!?!
I have stayed in the room 321.
No windows to open, the ceiling looking like you are in some sort of warehouse, pipes and cracks all over.
The cover of one of the lights is just about to come off.
The state of the cleanliness is even worse.
Another thing!!
You have to pay to have your room cleaned!!!
That wasnt stated when i have booked.
You should look into that.
20 euros to have your room cleaned is a bit extreme....
You are only being given a loo roll and that is it.
I have booked 4 nights for 2 people. After the first night the toiletries have run out.
I get it is a basic room, but is maintained in the exact system as how EasyJet works. You pay for everything extra.
But the room was dirty.
When i was making the bed one morning i have realised that in between the matress and the \"bedside cabinet\" were : pieces of sweetcorn, sunflower seeds and also mould. Which can be noticed all over the ceiling and in the bathroom as well.
The pillows?! A joke!! A tiny little cushion does a way better job than what we have found there...
And this will be the last thing...
When i have booked it was advertised as \" reserve now, pay later\"!
2 days later after i made the booking i had the hotel asking me for the money straight away...
Someone should look into all that.

When I booked I didn't realize that EasyHotel was same group as EasyJet. Well, it is the same indeed. Bare minimum, profitability taking over quality, etc...
Room had not been thoroughly cleaned, only ONE power outlet available, it really felt like being in a prison cell.
I understand that the priority is going to price, but at this level of bareness, it actually becomes a problem.

Perfect for what we needed as we were only in the room to sleep. Close to everything, easy to reach via the metro, friendly service. Only downside is that the room is quite small with little luggage storage space, and the shower temperature is abit all over the place. Great for the price though, would stay again.

One night stay at the hotel, room was fine & comfy bed. Not a massive room, the bed took most of it but suited me. Pretty close to Rotterdam Centraal station. Two stops on the tram or walkable in 10-15 mins. Plenty of bars and restaurants in surrounding area.

Very friendly front desk staff. Very basic accommodations! No where to put your luggage other then the floor., no desk, no front desk phone. Only cleaned the room twice in 13 days, did not know that when I booked the room. Not happy about that! Room size wa very good. Close to many restaurants, including the Markethall. 21 Pincos is a great place to eat! Only 5 blocks to Cental Station.

I got a single bedroom, they are very small but The bathroom is decent size considering how small the rooms are. After booking, they send you an email to fill out all your information which makes check-in super easy. I checked in in less than 15 seconds. They do have parking, it’s offsite and at €25 is cheaper than other facilities with hotels. I didn’t realize the checkout time was 10 AM, not the end of the world but I’ve never been in a hotel with such an early check out. It’s a budget motel, close to a lot of things. Staff was helpful and for the price, I would stay here again.

Socket is between the pillows??!!

The location is convenient but the biggest problem is the stupid design of socket location. There are only two sockets. One is next to the door, where you insert the key card, and the other is between the pillows!! Both are inconvenient. If you’d like to charge your electronic devices overnight, you can’t sleep well. At least I didn’t.

They tell you that it is no-frills, and they are right. But you get a bed, private bath, and wi-fi, which is all I really needed. The location is convenient in downtown -- easily walkable from the main train station if your luggage has wheels. My one complaint: the shower randomly changes temperature without warning, which really keeps you on your toes when you have a head full of shampoo.

Great central location. Although plenty of transport links were available (tram, bus, bike, metro & Rotterdam centraal station) everything we needed was within walking distance and the staff were knowledgeable about the local area. Room was basic and clean, exactly what I expected and perfect for the short stay. Only slight issue was the plastic fitted sheet used made the top sheet slide and bunch up while sitting or sleeping making it uncomfortable and difficult to remake bed. Safety concerns were not an issue and I witnessed a non guest being turned away firmly but politely via the intercom.

The room is dirty, dusty, sticky and mold on the ceiling. You can see the rubbish on the floor and need to request the staff to clean the room. This apply to my room and my friend's room as well. Scare to leave my stuff out and don't want to go back agin. The room size is strange and very tiny. You need to climb over the bed to the window size as non square room size block the way. The room is too old an need renovation. The mattress is too soft and slip away every time when you sit on it. One bed lamp was not working. Will not come again if not renovate and improve the cleanness . As I believe this is not the easy hotel room standard. I found easy hotel Zaadam is way much better and follow the group cleanness standard, new bed and new furniture design. and provide a build in table. If I didn't stay easy hotel Zaadam after easy hotel Rotterdam, I will never book easy hotel again.

We were staying for a few days in Rotterdam and wanted to have the convenience of being central to walk around so we chose this hotel. We arrived an hour earlier and the hotel could only check us in at that time with an extra fee or charge to even leave our small hand carriers back! Every other amenities has an extra charge. Also our room could only be cleaned with an additional charge. Maybe economical in price but beware of being charged extra for even basic amenities!

Stayed for three days for a short break in Rotterdam. Location was ideal, just a short walk from Central Station. Room was simple, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The only minor complaint I had was being charged €3 to use a locker to store my bag as I had arrived early morning; I've never known a hotel to charge a paying guest to store their luggage for them a few hours ahead of their check-in. Aside from that, great location and good facilities at a very reasonable price, would definitely stay again.

Overall are ok, except
1. No hot water provided for food (coffee, tea & cup noodles) (Well, i know it is budgetary hotel, however we also need the hot water for food) (Water dispenser is provided, we did paid for the hot water, however the hot water is not enough, end up we had used 3 euro for hot water, i really can't imagine so expensive for the hot water).
2. Space too small, the luggage not even can pass through over the end of the bed.
If you are not concern for the above two factors, you can book for this hotel.

It was exactly as expected for the price and the name. I knew I had to pay for the late checkout but the website did not mention that it needed to be arranged in advance. The way I got treated at 10am and 11am in my room by housekeeping and whoever was banging on my door then, it's not something I have ever experienced before.
