At CityHub, we combined the two: more than enough ways to mingle and your very own, private cabin, called Hubs. Each Hub has a giant, double bed, Wi-Fi, app-controlled lighting and a personal audio streaming system.
Comfy, indeed. You share luxury toilets and showers with other travellers but they are separate for men and women.
We are located right in the Witte de Withstraat, one of the hottest and happening places in Rotterdam. The area is rich with bars, restaurants, and shops.
Our CityHost are here 24/7 to help you discover the beauty of the city as much as you can. Not just the touristy spot, but genuine Rotterdam as it is happening right here, right now.

A good choice for a short-stay in Rotterdam. But I don't recommend the breakfast if you get used to having heated buns/porridge just like me. The yoghurt and croissant tasted okay, though.

I was so impressed by the thought and effort that went in to making the capsule concept great. The capsule is surprisingly spacious and perfect for a short stay. The bathrooms are kept spotless and even though they're shared, it feels quite private. Unfortunately in this model, a great deal of the quality of your stay depends on other travellers being chill people. If you have a couple fighting at 3am or a stag party talking at full volume in the halls at all hours of the night, that's just what you have to deal with. When they stomp through the halls, it will vibrate your capsule. Bring your earplugs.

If you are lucky to get a good price for this staying it totally worth it, regardless the limited space you'll have some space to enjoy the night with your company, the hub has little speakers and lights that totally boost your mood, I enjoyed much, especially after four Fu₡₲€ nights with the guy snoring in the bunk bed (another hostel).

Honestly this stay round was terrible! The noise alone was annoying throughout the night, the heavy sound of people walking around or talking, whilst sleeping on the second floor you could hear everything below especially when someone is dragging a trolley or luggage, having a pod on the ground was so disturbing. I had broken sleep and everything was so noisy! The facilities are great but also limited seating at dinner when everyone preferred to eat in. The noise really needs to be monitored

My stay was very comfortable. I was very positively surprised by the amenities and cleanliness of the hotel. Bedroom comes with towels and bathrobes. Bathroom has shower gel, shampoo and hand soup + lotion, hairdryer etc. I was amazed by the kitchen as well. They have drinks on tap, coffee, tea, ability to heat food, cutlery and plates. The key wrist band system is very convenient and easy to use. The only minus would be other people making noise when they arrive to their rooms but this is an issue in any hotel.

Legit the COOLEST hostel I've ever stayed in! I usually no longer stay in hostels because imtnot a fan of listening to other people snore, but the pods seemed interesting so I thought I'd try it and I'm so glad I did!
Despite being top and bottom bunks, you could not hear a THING at night! I slept great.
There are also plenty of plugs for all your devices and you can even connect your Spotify and play with the LED lights if you want.

Was expecting a hotel; it clearly is not. That is my fault. Tiny 'Japanese style' quarters and a walk to the toilet facilities. However, it was quiet, clean and close to various amenities. Disliked over reliance on technology, but that might be because of my age. If you want a basic base, then you could do worse. Staff were generally helpful and cheerful.

Everything was self service here and everything was easy to use which was nice such as making your own coffee and tea, however, there was a fee for each product and the only free things included were the products in the bathroom such as towels, soap etc.
For the price of staying here (we paid €68 and booked over 2 months in advance) it was not worth it. At least a free cup of coffee in the morning would have been nice. The hangout area is quite small but it does have a nice atmosphere.
The location you cant fault. There are many bars and restaurants nearby and it was close to the train station. The comfort of the capsules was nice and it was extremely clean. Would come back if the price was lower.

This is a great spot for several reasons: Lively location for Rotterdam. Easily accessible for day trips to Amsterdam and Brussels with a lower price point than hotels in either of those two major tourist destinations. (Rotterdam is right in between. :-)

Football match. Booked the hotel without realising it was a capsule style hotel. Staff were really understanding about showing the facilities. I was able to navigate the steps up and down but it wasa little tricky.

I enjoyed my stay and the staff were extremely helpful. I did have one unfortunate experience though just after arriving. Having found my room I then looked for the nearest communal bathroom and was delighted to find the sign for it in an alcove just a few feet from my door. So I moved forward not realising there was a step in front of me. I landed in the bathroom a bit quicker than intended as my head crashed against the door when I fell and thankfully it opened. My hip is still quite sore but my main concern was the side of my head which also made contact with the tiled floor. It seems to be ok though. Perhaps it would be a good idea if the areas outside the bathrooms were lit up 24 hours a day as there is not much natural lighting that reaches these areas.

Very good location. Comfortable and convenient. Good price quality. The hubs are relatively big. I have been here a few times and always had a good experience. The shared toilets and showers are clean.

Cityhub is set up like a capsule hostel. Your room is private for only you. So you can either pick a top \"room\" or a bottom \"room,\" if they have any available at your time of check-in. The room is big. About a queen-size bed. Bluetooth speakers, a built-in USB charger, a mirror, and an opened \"closet.\"
The bed is so comfortable that I really want to change out my mattress back at home. Both side of the bed has LED lights that you can change with the City Hub app. Very easy to set the mood.
The lobby is another story. It's all self-service which is quite nice. You are provided a wristband during check-in. This also keeps track of what you get from the drink machines (wine, soda, beer, coffee), a snack machine, and a fridge full of prepared meals. Don't confuse this with the pink fridge where you can store your leftover meals.
The host is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. If you have questions, you can chat with them in person or through the app.
If you're out past 8 pm, you will need to scan your wristband to open the main door. I guess to keep the party folks from spilling in.

Extremely friendly staff. Very helpful. Have an app where you can send them questions from wherever you are about the hotel, city, recommendations etc and they answer immediately. Great price for rotterdam. Similar to a pod/capsule hotel but you can stand in the room and the bed is quite big. Only issue was the men's toilet. One of the urinals was overflowing with urinal and was finally put out of service. And only 2 showers available for the whole floor. The other showers were locked for the 3 days i was there for some reason.

This hostel was nicely located, very comfortable and check-in was easy. They had colourful LED lights in each of the pods that you could control with your phone as well as Bluetooth speakers so you can pump your tunes when drifting off to sleep. The pod itself felt very private; less like a hostel and more like a mini hotel room. They provided towels which is always a nice bonus when hosteling and the bathrooms were well kept. This place is honestly perfect for solo travelers, couples, someone on business, etc. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Quick and easy, but bathrooms could definitely do with more upkeep and lack of kitchen on each floor is somewhat frustrating for getting water in the night etc. It’s definitely not worth the full price for how little you get - it is ostensively a hostel. Fine for quick stays if it’s reduced!

CityHub is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The overall experience was excellent. The whole hotel is very clean, including the common areas and shared toilets. They provide free fruits-infused water (so rare in Europe!!) and also have a self-service bar where you can purchase drinks. Checking in was a breeze and it was so fun as well. You get to choose your hub type (top or bottom) and even select the ambience of your room.
I was SOOO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED when I could see the ambience lights changing in my room. You could also change the ambience lights whenever you like. I selected disco and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!! ONE BIGGGGGGESTTTT surprise is that you could also connect to the bluetooth speakers in the hub which means you could play your own music. LO AND BEHOLD. THE AMBIENCE LIGHTS CHANGE ACCORDING TO YOUR MUSIC!!!!!!!! THIS IS REALLY THE MOST ENTERTAINING FACTOR especiallllly if you're travelling during the period where shops close early (p.s. christmas). CityHub is something between a hotel and a hostel. The rooms are really small, big enough only for a bed and some room for the door to open, and bathrooms and toilets are shared. There's no heating in the room only ventilation, and the walls are very thin so noise can be a problem. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the staff as helpful as they could. The location is good with many restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Overall, it's good value but far from comfortable, good only if you have a really tight budget.

Filthy maze of a Hostel claiming to be Hotel
At this \"hotel\", which is actually a hostel, is one of the most disgusting places I have been with a spectacularly nasty manager.
First of all this place is a maze and i'm certain if there were ever a fire there would be a body count. The \"rooms\" have no fire alarm and the place is a maze. I have no idea how it is even legal for them to operate.
Assistant manager Ivana is the nastiestest character I have come across in many years of travel, who actually threatened to kick me out of the hotel because I complained that the bathrooms were dirty! She then stood by while I was verbally abused by a male guest who was apparently a friend of hers.
Ivana, if you had refunded my money like I asked, it would have been a misunderstanding, but because you decided to charge me for the 2 nasty nights I did stay in your filthy hostel, threaten me, now i'm a disgruntled customer.

Everyone we treated with was very nice, and it's completely up to you if you want to interact with someone or not. Hosts were always available for help. Sleeping in a capsule is not for everyone, but the experience was cool and interesting.

The pods are small, but they are really very comfortable. I stayed in a top one and there was enough room to put my suitcase and hang up some shirts. There's bluetooth speakers and I loved being able to set the lights to come on in the morning to wake me up (with the CityHub app). There was an option to take a portable wifi device to use away from the hotel (no charge)! The shared bathrooms were always clean.

It was horrible, I was not aware that is bunk sharing, there is a bed on top and one below with private entrance, I think prisons are better, book only if you are really short on money not to save, the rooms are half a room, toilets, are clean, wifi is good.

The staff was really friendly. It was a nice touch having music playing in the bathrooms! The body wash and shampoo was a high quality brand and there even was hand moisturiser in the toilets! If only the lower bunk sleeping hubs had a chair in them, they would be perfect. You can sit up with your legs dangling in the upper bunk, but you can't do this in the lower bunk.
