The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and Jacuzzi was a plus. The room had a balcony with a drying rack that was convenient for hanging bathing suits and washing some clothes. The staff were all very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Art Hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and the buffet breakfast. Good value. The funny thing is that since it was called the Art Hotel we expected to see art throughout the hotel however there wasn’t even a piece on the walls in our room or in the lobby.

Split good hotel

The hotel was very clean and room was quite big for Europe. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was fairly good. We were about a mile walk from Diocletian's Palace and the Riva area near the harbor. There were restaurants, shops, and even a pharmacy near by. The pool was an infinity pool on the roof and there was also a hot tub. There was a great view of all of Split from there

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Art Hotel! The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options. The pool area was lovely with amazing views of the city. The staff were helpful and accomodating. The hotel is in a quiet area however it’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the old town so the location is convenient. Would highly recommend this hotel😊

Lovely hotel walkable to split and very quiet! Received an upgrade to a balcony room which was amazing! REALLY big rooms and really clean! friendly staff as well! Only negative was a stag do staying ruined a few relaxing days at the pool for us as they were very loud. Breakfast was okay, not a lot of options.

This hotel has been fantastic for us. From the moment we checked in to every member of staff we’ve engaged with so Far has been very helpful, friendly but also logical.

The rooftop pool area is a nice tranquil escape for the end of the day and there’s a bar where you can get a glass of wine or cocktail if you wish

We use the gym a couple of times for a hotel gym it’s pretty standard

The room is clean, spacious

The location of the hotel is about 15 to 20 minute walk into old town town. There is a local restaurant that has reasonable food and good quality. Probably better than we ate in the old town to be fair.

I think this hotel is an absolutely perfect base for exploring split for 4 nights as long as you’re happy to walk or get a taxi into town .
choice of 2 local supermarket within a few minutes walk .

Breakfast was also impressive self-serve coffee from the machine tea yoghurt, fruit cooked items, salami and bread and lovely doughnuts.

Bit out of town but walk was doable. Breakfast was fine. Room and bathroom was quite small but main issue was we had hundreds of ants walking a line around bathroom to door of room. We sprayed them but then had lots of dead ants to clear up!! Not very nice.

My stay here was not the greatest. I didn’t sleep all night there were water bugs in my room. That did it for me I couldn’t sleep all night. I complained at the front desk they didn’t think it was a big deal. She looked at me like I’m crazy.

Roof top swimming pool and jacuzzi all in good working condition & pleasant environment. Sauna, steam room & indoor jacuzzi were good. Gym was air conditioned & had a variety of equipment. Walk into Split centre was about 10-15 minutes. Would definitely recommend the hotel and we would stay again.

Probably my favorite place to stay when visiting Split.

They provide service for pickup from the airport to the hotel, for a fee of course but 100% worth it knowing I won’t have to deal with trying to find a taxi or Uber after a long flight.

The room is cozy, clean with a great view. We hung out at the pool and relaxed for a little while and then decided to stay in and order food and drinks at the restaurant in the hotel, which was delicious.

Customer service is amazing. They even assisted with calling us a taxi to take us the Port once we checked out.

The property is nice but there are problems. A/c was not working, pool and hot tub are cold. Some stuff was weird, for example, there is a machine for juice and water in the lobby and we had to pay if we wanted a glass after the buffet hours. Some staff was rude for example relaxing near the pool and staff telling me to move ? Overall good spot !

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights to attend a conference in Split. It is a bit remote from the downtown but I liked the silence and it takes 15 minutes walk to downtown.

Staffs were friendly and supportive. Breakfast was rich and tasty with grilled vegetables. The roof top swimming pool was smaller than I thought but I could enjoyed it.

The pool area and sun terrace is a nice bonus for this hotel and we could always get a lounger.

The room was very small and needed a refurb - holes in curtains etc. There was also a strange smell damp/air con maybe.

It did the job and was a 20 min walk from old town, not sure it was great value for money.

The staff on reception were very friendly.

I would best describe this hotel as a great value for money hotel to stay at. It is priced accordingly. If you are looking for a five star hotel in a stunning location then they are available in other areas of this great city. We stayed in one prior to this hotel, we chose this hotel because we were wanting to explore the other side of the city.
The hotel is well equipped. The lounging areas on the two rooftops were comfortable with plenty of loungers and furniture to enjoy the charming pool bar service and staff. The pool is smaller than it looks on the photo’s but was refreshing and clean. The views from the pool area leave a little to be desired frankly. Our room was slightly dated but very comfortable and impeccably clean. We had the breakfast service. The food and drink was great but the dining area is right on the very busy main road. This is just simply a limitation of the hotels location. The surrounding area isn’t really in the tourist area of the city but that is also what we liked about the place at the same time. The area is very safe with lots of places to eat/drink where the locals do. We were welcomed everywhere. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and clearly made an effort to go over and above the standard welcome. Although we didn’t use it, the downstairs spa and relaxation area looked very nice indeed. This hotel was a very solid 4 out of 5 and we were very happy staying there.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location about 15 min walk from the old town. There is a bus stop nearby and shops, a few restaurants & bars. Our room was very big (one extra large king bed and one single bed) and the bathroom was huge, but the bath was very narrow. We had a balcony too. We enjoyed the breakfast, there was a good variety of food. When we left too early for breakfast the hotel provided a packaged lunch which was ready and waiting when we left at 6.45 am. Staff were all very friendly, and great customer service from reception.

Lovely hotel Walking Distance To Old Town Split

My 3 day stay at the Art Hotel was very satisfactory, I would give it a overall high rating except for one thing - the water pressure for the shower. If the hotel can make improvement on this, which I'm sure is important to most travellers, to be able to enjoy a nice shower after a long day. Apart from this, I love the amenities especially the infinity pool, and enjoy the delicious buffet breakfast immensely.

We were entirely happy with this hotel. The staff is amazing- they went out of their way to help us with taxis, directions, restaurants, reservations and advice on the city. Restaurant around the corner is wonderful. Easy 10 min walk to the old town. Room itself is large, clean bed is comfortable and bathroom spotless. Breakfast was fabulous and the dining area great with the open large windows. We had a car and parking was available but get there early. Quiet area at night. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend this hotel to partygoers. The pool and hot tub closes at 8 PM. What the hell.
Definitely they’re not here to accommodate the people staying at the hotel. They were continuously doing maintenance around the building and pool area. Surrounding area was not in good condition.

This property is very clean and decorated beautifully. Bed was comfortable and rooms were spacious. Our first room was a sea view with a balcony, espresso maker and other small touches which made it great. Unfortunately, the lock on the door broke and we had to move to another room. No longer had a sea view but the staff was nice and gave us money back on the new room which was still quite nice. The breakfast buffet is extremely nice with plenty of options to chose from. Rooftop pool and bar are beautiful. The gym is disappointing. Cheap machines, some unusable and no free weights. The surrounding area although safe, is old with some unsightly graffiti which seems to be all over Split. Otherwise, nice property. I would stay there again.

This hotel has an excellent roof top pool with amazing view over the city. Location is within walking distance from the city centre.

The property was overpriced considering it is 15 minutes from the Old Town. Initially the property cancelled my booking the day before because they stated my credit card was not valid, this was because they did not accept Amex and did not let me know this.
Once i rebooked and arrived the reception staff were very helpful!
The roof top pool is a great feature, but the Jacuzzi was not working

The properly was very clean and modern, staff were great and very helpful. There was a little building work going on but it didn’t spoil the holiday and they were very considerate. Everything was so easy to organise - taxis booked, drinks delivered to the bar. I would highly recommend - Great value for money. There’s a restaurant over the road and a lovely vegan cafe Up Cafe nearby. It’s a 10-15 walk into the beautiful old town. Hotel a bit on outskirts but felt a very safe and friendly area.
