We needed a place close to a concert we went to Ceseray so we chose Netanya. Only needed a place for tonight but we were surprised all that big comfortable room and the beautiful Beach front view. We were so ended up having breakfast in the hotel and the stuff was super welcoming and friendly.
We didn't expect much but we can definitely recommend this place.
The location was perfect for us , it was quiet and peaceful and felt very safe.
Overall great experience.

The fridge in the room was not cold
The room temperature could not be changed by the room thermostat
When I requested service two times someone came and said there is nothing that can be done
When I went to front desk to complain we resolved the fridge issue by my requesting ice
Re the temperature nothing was done i developed a serious cold as a result of the cold temperature .
Other than that the room was excellent clean and staff were extremely courteous.

Expensive buffet breakfast was an omellette thrown at you, the pastrys' were unchanged during our 4 night stay. No bar no restaurant, they want to charge you for bottled water even though the advert says it is free!

The air conditioning system was broken, I kept on asking the receptionist to send a technician, they claimed they can’t fix it now. I couldn’t sleep both nights I was there. It kept on closing automatically and the room got extremely hot.

My Summer Vacation

I felt very lucky to be staying in such a hygienic, classy hotel. I have been to many hotels and it was the first time that I was presented with hair free towels and bedding.
This made it a real pleasure for me as I was able to sleep without any worry of finding foreign dirt in my way.
I was amazed at the design and layout of the bedroom, the whole wall was a window to the sea and the view from the porch was reflected in the mirror right across, overall giving the whole room a feel of being surrounded by the water.
However, I was disappointed with the fact that I was told my porch would have a full sea view as seen on the image the hotel provided. I was hoping to have a view of clear water from my balcony but unfortunately that view was partly blocked by large buildings and tall trees which really wasn`t part of the picture I saw when I booked my hotel room. I guess the way they took the picture was done very professionally but my eyes are not so professional.
I also would have liked a runner and throw pillow to be on my bed every morning and not just as a welcome on the first day.
Besides for that the service was outstanding, the staff were really forthcoming and helpful which made my stay a real great experience.
I would just like to add that the backseat of the couch was attached with some velcro and it kept on sliding down making it quite uncomfortable to relax on it.
But never mind the beds were comfortable enough and I would really recommend others to go here.

Could have been a 5 star experience but...the customer service was lousy. They didn’t smile at you at check in (no masks so can't use that excuse). They were practically barking at every request. The people behind the counter were speaking a foriegn language to each other about everything. Very often you'd call the front desk and you'd get a machine!
However, if not for the horrible customer service experience it would have been GREAT. Fantastic location and spacious rooms. A real shame. Hopefully they will give their frint desk employees a customer service workshop ASAP.

Very well maintained and modern. It is on the popular Nitza Boulevard on the seafront. We had a ‘senior’ room which was extremely spacious and well appointed. Staff pleasant and helpful. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we were ‘room only’

Azimut Hotel is in a gorgeous area of Netanya. The hotel is fairly basic by American standards. No tissues, no face towels. The front desk was very helpful with anything. Housekeeping sucks. We were 2 in the room yet received 1 bath and face towel on 2 different days. Semi clean.

Enjoyed my stay and it worked out well, location / cost wise. If I had a complaint it would have been the bath tub set up. Just a terrible design, from being tall to get in to where the faucet / shower head (wand) was to how the glass door opened.

Negatives: You need to ask about WiFi code, no instruction for use of private jacuzzi and drain plug needed to be fixed, electric outlets near bed are minimal, no freezer in the fridge, no facial tissues, no bellman.

the location is nice, the room big and confortable, but in the bathroom nothing worked properly! They didn't clean the room during entire stay. We changed alone the towels.
they have a private parking underground but they are opening the 2 doors upon request, but they forgot to advise us and to give us the phone number of the reception, and we had to walk from the parking to request to open the ports. Very primitive and does not match the expectations from a 4* hotel.

During Lockdown. Roomy but lacks conveniences

To be fair, we stayed during the Corona lockdown. So the restaurant and the additional amenities (pool or gym) were not available. We also had to bring our own food. We had the Panorama Seaview room which is the largest available.

Positive: Very nice panoramic view, Very comfortable bed, Nice Large room like having a bedroom and living room in one room, nice view from balcony. Excellent location across from the beach. Spacious bathroom with good toiletries. Swinging makeup mirror and hair dryer. Lots of closet space. Pretty close to elevator. Nice coffee machine, but we don't drink coffee.

Neutral: Bathroom sink was long and narrow, good to share but limited counter space. Fridge was normal office size, but did not have one of those tiny freezers. So ice cream melted quickly. For this type of room, 3rd floor is top floor. Hear the cars.

Negative: No microwave! Excluding the coffee table, the only usable table is long and quite narrow. It's long enough for three laptops but just wide enough for the laptop itself. There was no table on the balcony either, only a knee high mushroom-type stand. You needed to climb into the bathtub at a height of about 60cm or 24in. That was kind of a safety issue when slippery. Evening water wasn't so hot. No ice machine on the floor. The TV had no additional HDMI ports besides the one for their system and I could not connect to the Miracast with my Windows laptop. Only one chair so had to constantly move balcony chair in and out.

There was lots of cockroaches and outside of the hotel there was about 40 street cats walking around. The smell was disgusting. On the way to the sea cats was following us. Of coarse The smell of the cats poop was Right at a beach

Fun family stay

The hotel is quite luxurious with high end sheets, towels and amenities. Great location opposite beach and close to many restaurants. The only thing I would say needs a bit of improvement is the breakfast... the quality of the food doesn't seem to fit the overall fabulous experience. Nevertheless I would recommend staying at this hotel and would love to come again myself.

The property was clean and nice. However I needed to cancel my stay as I booked the room by accident since I needed a room in Tel Aviv, not being from Israel I didn’t realize Netanya wasn’t a part of Tel Aviv since the hotel kept coming up in a filtered search for hotels... I was trying to contact someone from the hotel right away and to no avail could not reach anyone, which is ridiculous. I was forced to keep the room since no one confirmed prior to my flight if I could cancel or not. I’m not happy with the lack of having a timely response at the front desk or or reservations office.

The property was nice, but the staff was very rude and not willing to help. I asked for directions and they couldn't help. Ask for water and they admitted my room should have it but disn't provide any. But the worst is that it is far away from everything. I ended up spending over $200 on taxi fares.

Reviews do not match the reality

We chose this hotel based on the reviews of others.
What we read and what we experienced were totally opposite,
When we arrived, it was raining and cold.
There was nobody at the front door and we struggled with our luggage
We also noticed new arrivals struggling with the same situation during every day of our stay.
My advice is to find a more central location in Netanya and to find a place that does not ignore you.

There is no way that this hotel deserves its 9 out of 10 rating. Whilst it is good there are too many deficiencies - it is understaffed, I was given misleading information on checkin (corrected the following day) and the breakfast is well below average for a 4-star Israeli hotel.
Nevertheless, the cost for our two rooms was good value, when compared with other hotels in the area.

An excellent property. Expedia mishandled my reservation which resulted in me paying for a more expensive room which I did not receive on my first night. The hotel, however, did their very best to accommodate Expedia's error, and provided me with a complementary upgrade on the second night. A special thank you to the manager, Philip. The hotel is well-kept, the rooms are clean, and the amenities are great. A minor complaint is that when they specify a \"sea side view\" on Expedia, what they mean is that you see \"the sea from the side of your room\", which means sticking your head out the window and looking to the side. Other than that, I was very happy with this hotel.
