The room was what I was expecting for the price i paid. It was clean and it accommodated exactly for what I hoped to need. I got it for one day. And stayed by the beach and walked around its great central location. I don’t think I would stay there for a week’s worth. But a few days yes.

Check in difficult. I have a working visa that says visa. The guy wouldn’t accept it. No water in room. Hotel said I couldn’t buy water there either. Very thin windows. Could hear the street all night. Dripping in the bathroom. No shower gel, but two lots of shampoo. Very old. Very worn. Left as soon as I could.

This a a very basic hotel that we enjoy because of the convenience and because it is clean and affordable. The breakfast is quite nice as well. The layout of the room is nice as far as drawers and shelves. The bathroom also has places to put your toiletries.

In my initial room multiple things didnt work. staff were responsive but it was taking awhile to get it fixed with doubts about whether everything could be repaired. My only criticism is that when I asked if I should just take a different room it took awhile (but prob'ly shorter) to say yes. Other than that the place was great!

We needed to duck away for dinner couple time, this was prefect. A short walk to lots of good places for dates. Easy access to the beach for an early morning dip in the Mediterranean! Lovely staff lovely environment. We'll be back

The hotel photos are very misleading - probably taken 20 years ago. Room was in very poor condition - from the bathroom to the windows, falling apart curtains, etc. Stairwells were dirty. Building exterior looks run down, and needs a coat of paint. Breakfast food was below average. Lesson learned… you get what you pay for.
On the positive side, you can’t beat the location - for both beach access and being able to walk into town.

I recently stayed at Hotel Residence in Netanya and I was extremely disappointed with the room I received. The pictures and descriptions provided by the hotel were completely misleading, and I feel compelled to share my experience.
Upon arrival, I had high expectations based on the beautiful pictures I had seen online. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what I had anticipated. The room I was given was nothing like the advertised photos. It was smaller, outdated, and lacked the promised amenities.
The discrepancy between the pictures and the actual room was undeniable. The decor was worn out, the furniture was outdated, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. The room felt cramped and uncomfortable, and it did not provide the relaxing and enjoyable environment I had been expecting.
I raised my concerns with the hotel staff, hoping for a resolution or a possible room change. However, their response was unhelpful and dismissive. They seemed indifferent to my concerns, which only added to my disappointment.
I believe it is necessary for hotels to accurately represent their rooms in their advertising materials. Guests should be able to trust that what they see online is what they will actually receive. This experience has left me questioning the transparency and integrity of Hotel Residence.

Hotel, needed an update, untidy- and dated.
Headboard in room was falling apart, carpets worn and dirty. Room service cleaning was not 100%. Certainly not a 4 star hotel, uk 2 star at best. Reception staff- very short and unhelpful. You must pay now!! I lost my case on the flight out and they offered no assistance with toiletries etc.

Be sure to get a \"superior\" room for an awesome view of the Mediterranean. Great location near the public elevator down to the beach and an easy walk to lots of restaurants and shops around Independence Square (Kikar HaAtzma'ut). Nice, light lobby. Rooms small but clean. The bed is not very soft. The bathroom is small and clean but not super well-maintained. The temperature of the shower varied quite a bit.

We found the hotel staff excellent, helpful and flexible except in one instance that my husband was accosted in the dining-room on saturday morning by the Maitre D. and made to feel his right to be there was in doubt. He would have dismissed the incident without question but while he was there he saw no other person being approached and/or questioned. While not actually inquisitorial the approach of the M d'H was marginally abrupt and hostile. We found the hot dishes were not adequately heated on the food trolleys but the quality and display was otherwise acceptable.

We had a so-called upgrade to the building next door. A spacious \"suite\" with great sea views. But the general need of modernisation was a disappointment. Excellent position close to promenade and beach and within easy walking distance of the square, shops, etc. Car park had limited spaces...good job it was not peak season. For breakfast we had to go to back to the adjacent hotel. Not impressed by the selection on offer..very basic Israeli selection.

Overall very disappointing
We had a one night stay but should have chosen another hotel. The bed was poor and the pillows were worse. The WiFi in the room was almost non-existent. There were not enough parking places so we had to park on the street about a block away.
Breakfast variety was good but the presentation was unappetizing and the coffee was from an urn that had Nescafe or some other form of instant coffee.
We will not return here on our next visit to Israel.

Owners need to spend more money on rooms, less on the lobby. First night, kids are trapped in their room, door won't open. Next night can't get into my room, lock jammed. Someone in adjacent room tried to bust in through the adjoining door, scary.

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. The parking was extremely limited and there are no other spots close by so when you arrive you very well may be out of luck. The hotel is dated and dingy, the rooms are cramped, uncomfortable and unclean. You cannot even turn around in the bathroom it is so small. The sound of the water in the pipes every time someone in the room above us flushed their toilet or turned on their sink sounded as if the roof would come down it was so loud. The walls and windows are paper thin and we could hear everything from the rooms around us as well as outside. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Run, don't walk, to another hotel.
