Location is great. Staff very helpful,easy parking,free coffee and snacks. Comfortable beds, easy access to highway and shopping center and cinema
Some of the rooms need updating.
Repeated cockroach issue but you can tell they are fighting it and working hard to keep the hotel clean. Used this hotel multiple times and will do so again

The room was clean, but a bit basic and tired. Breakfast has now been moved out of the hotel to a cafe bakery down the road where you pay with a voucher. Whilst the cafe was very good, it is a hassle to have to go out each morning. I didn't know about this before I booked the hotel. The in-house gym is tiny and extremely limited, although you can get a special rate at a gym nearby.

A Business Hotel which fulfils expectations.

In the past we stayed several times at this hotel and were very satisfied.
The Hotel is located near shops and several facilities. We are aware that the situation of tourism in Israel is very difficult and the hotel has to cope with a low occupancy resulting in decreasing its staff. Notwithstanding the above, the bed sheets were stained and unfortunately, we saw it when we opened the cover and we were too tired to complain. The shower cell door did not prevent the wetting of the bathroom floor and the douche head was partially plugged, resulting in a strong punctions water stream. We sincerely hope that the hotel management will take care of these deficiencies.

Keys given to me frequently did not work properly.
To the staff's credit, I was refunded one night of the three I stayed there. Staff were extremely polite and understanding.

Definitely a good place: comfortable room, very helpful service, well-maintained. Only knock was the bathroom (small shower, shower head had weak pressure, and the water temperature was inconsistent-sometimes perfect, sometimes cold, and sometimes both scalding and freezing in the span of a minute). Also worth noting that there is no pool or gym available whatsoever (despite the hotel's claim on their website that they have an arrangement with the nearby gym \"Holmes Place\" to allow hotel guests entrance \"for a nominal fee\", this is nonexistent). But overall, definitely recommended.

Excellent place to stay for business or pleasure

The hotel is modern, clean and quiet. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby were very nice. The room is basic (not fancy, although called \"deluxe\") but clean and quite comfortable. Bathrobe was not provided, regretfully. A nice bonus - quiet neighborhood, or was it the soundproof structure, not sure, but definitely contributed to a good night's rest. Check-in quick and easy. No frills, but we're pleased overall. Will stay again.

The hotel is not well maintained and missing much like breakfast, workout room, pool, bar with alcohol... but location is great near a shopping mall, restaurants, walkable to the beach -- maybe 15 min walk and overall teh price is very reasonable. Housekeepers clean the room daily and change the beddings unlike five stars hotel. Staff are very kind.

Only one person working was nice and helpful and that was because she was new to Israel from Australia so this staff hadn’t ruined her yet and she was great. All the others were quite the opposite. They need complete retraining - complete!
The beds were terrible. Horribly uncomfortable.
The flooring is all warped in the rooms.
No help with luggage - not a service oriented hotel.
Actual sh*t stain on the toilet seat - quite gross.
The breakfast was not good - definitely not worth the extra money we paid. Never went back again to the breakfast after the first day. And the Saturday hours are the same as a weekday - should give people a chance to sleep in bit. Most of our group didn’t make it in time however they were the lucky ones.

Because this could be an amazing business hotel. If they just cleaned it properly, trained staff to have customer service friendliness, bought new beds, put new flooring, and maybe hung a few paintings on the walls. Simple stuff could make this place great - but do not stay there unless you like being unable to sleep on horrible beds.

We had an early morning flight and found it very useful to have coffee, bakery, cereal and milk in the lobby area.

The hotel is located about 50 yards away from Nafis- a good restaurant that is open 24/7.

Parking entrance is a bit awkward, should be enabled using the guest cards rather than by ringing a doorbell and waiting for a person on duty inside the hotel.

This hotel is lovely for the basics and a place to sleep. It doesn’t offer too many amenities, but that is okay based on the type of stay I needed. It is an older hotel and needs some updating and the rooms are not sound proofed (it was very noisy - I could hear the room service staff clear as day in the hallway when I was in my room, music, loud people in the hallways, etc). The check in staff were lovely and very welcoming and they do offer coffee, tea, juice, water and a nice little offering of snacks in the lobby.

I travel a lot and seen all kinds of hotels. This hotel seemed to have good reviews so I took it. First night I arrived at 1am, checking in was fine, except that I got a room where people already slept. I walked in and suddenly got some woman screaming at me for entering her room. I went to reception. They gave me a different room. The new room was an “upgrade”. I can’t start explaining how horrible the condition was. The sofas and seats have huge brown spots. Management said “all the rooms have them. They know and they are replacing them with time”. Still disgusting. My towels had holes and stains on them. Clear signs of use. And the floors had stains and clearly absorbed so much water that the wood started to pop. Again, they offered to replace the room, and I went to checkout the other two options they offered. Both had the same issues (minus the floors). All of that I would forgive, but on the last day of my visit, I was checking out, and despite being a tourist, the receptionist suddenly told me I need to pay some special vat tax. This seemed odd and ended up charging me over $150 USD. This felt like a scam. When I told him this is odd but he can charge my card on file as I booked through orbits, he said there’s no card on file. He was rude and just made me pay and said if I won’t he would need to call the cops or something. I paid, but I will never stay in their stained outdated smelly hotel. Judge for yourself. If I can leave pictures I will.

Mixed feelings. Great location, hearty breakfast and friendly staff. Very comunicate about holidays in Israel. However I needed to modify my reservation and they would not accept any modification. They told me to talk to Expedia, Expedia said they would talk to hotel, and I got no reply. Was charged for 2 nights out of 10 that I did not stay there. Business travel usually has modifications, and I would think that a business hotel would understand and accomodate to some extent.

Quite hotel at the center of Herzliyya high tech area. The rooms should be renovated, but they are kept clean. Breakfast is good, accept that on Saturday there is no hot food or coffee (accept instant coffee). Not sure why the hotel maintains a kosher kitchen when it is obvious that none of it clients or employee care about it. It is clear that in this respect the customer does not come first

Simple business hotel that you can make work

This is a pretty simple business hotel, the kind of place you would expect to be rated 4*. The hotel room is comfortable, spacious and with fast free WiFi. The lighting is not that great however. The hotel is in a quiet area close to the SolarEdge building. There are plenty of 24hr shops and so on in the area (try the Dekel petrol station). The restaurant appears to be only open for breakfast - which has a very limited choice. You may want to use the empty mini-bar fridge and stock it up with treats and beers. It's a quiet area - no problem with taxis they can easily pull upright in front if you use the Gett app (Israel's Uber) one will be there within 6 minutes usually. Be aware that whilst some rooms are advertised as \"sea view\" at extra cost the hotel is actually a 20 minutes walk to the beach so I doubt the sea view is worth the money. There are plenty of eateries in the area but take that walk down to the beach/marina area and you will find better places to eat in a nicer environment.

So the conclusion I came to is this is quite a good hotel for someone on a business trip at a good rate and whilst it has its limitations (food and breakfast) you can readily work round them. I'd stay here again.

Although it was December the weather was very hot but they didn't change the air-con from heating to cooling, the room was hot like sauna, we ask them to do something with that but they only said that they can''t reach the manager, and they don't even have fan, so we set at the lobby
and waited for the evening.

The hotel needs major maintenance work. The floor in our needs to be replaced, and the fixture or coach near the window wax crocket. In addition one of the two elevators didn’t work. However, the hotel is in great location, clean, the breakfast is great, and the staff was very professional.

Reasonable Business Hotel

I picked the Benjamin Hotel as it was around the corner from the client site. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and well lit although there really wasn't any place to sit (outside of two chairs). The location was good with walking access to a number of restaurants.

My room was a \"deluxe\" and a bit small, but they had enough space for a desk and queen size bed. They were, however, a bit spartan with no chairs/couches outside of one for the desk while the flat screen was small. The bathroom was modern but cramped while there was virtually no closet space. Breakfast, however, was mediocre. There wasn't much selection and the restaurant staff was completely inattentive.

I give the Benjamin a sold 3.5 stars. It's a good location in Herzliya and it's clean and well maintained. The rooms are a bit spartan and the breakfast was average but the location and front desk staff make it a reasonable choice if you are working in downtown Herzliya.

If the price is low, take it, otherwise, stay away

Overall, the hotel is located in an excellent location and the staff are REALLY nice people and trying to help. However, the hotel is 3 years old and already look like S**T. It was built in the cheapest way possible and the rooms are falling apart. Handles falling down, rust in the shower, broken floor tiles. It looks like a 15 years hotel and not 3. It belongs to a private business man and it is clear all he cares is extracting as much money in the short run and not building a long term business.
If you can get it in less than 150 per night, take it. However, in the last few months there is a new sales manager and they are pushing the prices up. Which means, combined with the deteriorating condition, this hotel is off my list for the next stay.
(I have stayed repeatedly in this hotel from the opening day).

The hotel staff was EXTREMELY helpful. We checked in late and check out early but were greeted warmly. Upon checkout out the clerk went out of his way to find us a taxi which were in short supply. Thank you!
The room had some odd structural issues like a covered over hole on the floor under the bed and another on the ceiling. But it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s not as close to Eilat as we thought either.

Really like this hotel. Best value in the area. Very comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Modern hotel with bright rooms and nice bathrooms and nice bathroom products. My only complaint is that the smoking area in the seating area beside the hotel and upstairs beside the dining room should be in one area only not ANYWHERE so that people who don’t like smoke don’t have to suffer. Many of Israel’s restaurants with outdoor seating should be more considerate to non-smokers though! Have stayed here many times and will continue to do so if the price remains at the current rates....

Generally the hotel itself was good. Nice location if you want to spent some time on the beach, which is just 10 min. away. If you are planing to order with breakfast, I wouldn't recommend it. For that price you can have nice food somewhere else. The food looked all right, but it didn't taste good at all. The walls in the hotel are pretty thin, so you can hear everything wat is going on.

I've been staying at this hotel for my business trips since it was built. It's basic in some ways, but also perfectly decent from a business perspective in more ways that matter.

The hotel is still new so facilities are in great condition, the lobby area is nice. No bar but a fridge stocked with drinks which you can ask at reception to get. Rooms are functional and in great condition. Bed is comfortable. Possibly only small constructive feedback I can give is that although the rooms are super clean, my shower head was caked up with limescale, so maybe the proprietors to look at cleaning some of the longer term maintenance items.

Overall, for a business stay, I highly recommend the Benjamin, it's a good price for a good business trip.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, and for a business trip it had everything I needed. It's not overly luxurious and no room service, so it's not meant as a hotel for you to spend most of your time. But Herzliya is a gorgeous area with lots of great restaurants, so I'd spend most of the time out and about anyways. It's only about a 25-30 minute walk to the beach (or 5 minute drive), which has beautiful white sand and fantastic restaurants. It's also only about 20 minutes to Tel-Aviv, so very convenient.

This is an excellent business hotel, it is not a holiday hotel. The breakfasts are very good and rooms are clean and comfortable. The facilities are minimal but acceptable. You are a fair walk away from the harbor, beach and restaurants, but it is definitely walkable. The staff was helpful and friendly. If you need to be in Herzliya for business, I recommend this hotel.

Perfect short stay business hotel.

Great business hotel which I've returned to on four separate occasions. Very good value for money, clean and accessible with on-site (free) parking and excellent Wi-Fi.

Not bad to stay a few days.

Overall I have found this hotel OK. It was pretty clean and the staff was helpful. Also wi-fi was fast. The breakfast however was pretty limited (especially concerning fruit).

So I would recommend Benjamin hotel in Herzliya.

A Friendly Stay!

I had a wonderful stay in a clean and comfortable room. But the exceptionally friendly front desk crew made this an especially enjoyed location. Great, service minded young men.

3 days business stay

Benjamin calls itself a ‘business hotel’ so I was not expecting luxury but more functionality. Unfortunately this was not the case.
Despite a very friendly stuff I found myself annoyed with small things that really matter to a business traveler:
-The shower did not work properly, low water pressure and water changing temperature frequently
-No iron in the room, an iron room for the floor. Even if I accept that in a business hotel the iron and board themselves were in very poor condition
-A/C was not perfect, a real necessity in Israel
You should also consider the fact that the area is deserted at night with nearest restaurant about 10-15 minutes walk.

Much left to be improved at the Benjamin, it is the small details that really matter to a business traveler and that unfortunately is exactly where this hotel falls short.
