The owner (not a staff member) seems to think it is normal to wake up a guest at 23:00 to pay an insignificant amount of tax . This is despite the fact that I tried to make payment during the day , but his staff were unavailable .
His staff knew his behavior was unacceptable . Despite being given numerous opportunities to apologise, he refused .
Either he has surveillance in each room or he stalks the building pressing his ear to the doors, because part of his explanation was that he could hear the shower working so he knew I was awake.
AVOID THIS \"HOTEL\"

This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Tel Aviv. Great staff, excellent and spacious rooms and best of all it’s like having your own apartment while staying in TLV. Central location, there are many restaurants, bars, stores, buses, etc so it’s a perfect area to be in. Do yourself a favor and stay at BY Apartments!

The location is great in general (close to the beach, grocery stores, car hire and dining/shopping options). The owner and receptionist were happy to assist with any issue/request.
However, the entire street is under construction these days, which makes it less accessible and the apartment is tiny and quite outdated - the bath is cracked, the double beds are in the kitchenette, which is also the dining area and the main entrance (my daughter asked me why she sleeps in the kitchen 😄). The apartment should have been properly cleaned before we checked in, the floor was dirty.

This property is in a great location if you’re staying in Tel Aviv. Close to practically everything, within walking distance from the beach, Diezengoff, and more!
It makes for a much more comfortable stay having your own apartment in Tel Aviv rather than a one room hotel. Very nice staff, extremely helpful, a great place!

The apartment was bettet than expected! Very clean and comfortable for our family. Close to the beach and great restaurants but on a quieter street so we didnt hear any noise. Reception staff were available 24/7 and very helpful

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment at Ben Yahuda that was actually 2 stories with a kitchenette and upstairs balcony overlooking the city. The location was excellent - just 2 blocks away from the beach and a block from main bus routes. The staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Cleaning was every 3 days, which was fine for us. There was construction on the street in front of the building which meant there was no car traffic or noise and the construction did not bother us although it made it a bit challenging to get a taxi drop off with luggage. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The reality is different than advertised. The room was tired. The shower mold disgusting. Ben Yehuda Street is under construction, and it will be under construction for a very long time as part of the TLV Light Rail development (based on current state, it might take two more years of construction). On the other hand the Front Desk personnel was excellent, it could not be better.

Good: 24 hour reception, shops nearby and beach.

Bad: dated interior, bathroom mouldy and dated needs refurb. The photos on website are NOT the room you get, furniture is totally different, TV in weird place on side of room, noisy street at night due roadworks noise. Reception team poor communication, said could use any debit or credit card for public transport (not the case!) and no clue about ravkav the card system to use.

A very nice \"penthouse\" apartment on the 4th floor with balconies on both the east and west sides. Complementary bottle of wine at check-in. Note that the check-in location is a few doors from the actual residence. The street is blocked to car traffic for the next few years due to construction, so pay heed to their email about where to direct the cab.

A/C not working and did not offer a partial redund

At first, I was pleased with this small property. The office staff was nice and check-in was easy. The small apartment was fine for my purposes. Unfortunately I had problems with the A/C as it often shut off during the night. They gave me a fan for the bedroom but the power outlets were connected to the A/C wiring and it also shut off. While they tried to adjust the sensors, it did not help. After filling out an internal survey, they texted me offering their apologies and said that I would get a 6% discount the next time I stay with them. Shortly after, I emailed them and asked them to offer a partial refund (not suggesting a specific amount) and mentioned that I would dispute the charge with AMEX and would write a poor review with Hotels.com They responded back “ Please don't threaten us.”
I do travel to Israel at least 2x/year and have never experienced such poor customer service from a property manager/owner.

The property is complete with room amenity, very spacious and very clean. The housekeeper is very good in cleaning the apartment, the only concern is that a repair guy came to fix the toilet and made some mess and nobody came to clean the toilet not until after 2 days so we ended up cleaning it ourselves. Other than that we had an excellent experience staying in this apartment.

Perfect spot for your next visit to Tel Aviv

This was my sixth stay at the Ben Yehuda Apartments. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of myriad restaurants and shops - as well as major bus lines. The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful - especially in dealing with the ever-changing requirements for COVID testing. When they didn't know something - they called and tracked down the answer. Looking forward to my next visit.

The experience was bad! the place is not suited for families nor the personal there who was incentive to any help we asked with regards to luggage, parking, or helping to carry to stroller down the stairs (room floors are not accessible with an elevator). We ended up shortening our stay, preferring to pay the fine than continue our stay there. They did give us courtesy parking (10pm - 9am) at one point that came with many disclaimers on how much they are doing the 'above and byond' for us....

The check-in wasn't easy. However, the hotel is clean and the bed is comfortable. The hot water gets nice hot too. You have to wait for it to heat up, but the heats up pretty fast. We paid for the breakfast, and we would highly recommend that option. They send you to a local restaurant. The food was fantastic!

Great place to stay in Tel Aviv and we would stay again. The room was big and well presented however the hotel could just do some things better. A bit cleaner would be nice, sofa bed we had not great and show parking options and costs. Other hotels offer free parking which might make them better value. This said, we enjoyed our stay and walk to the beach very close.

The staff are incredibly helpful and resourceful! Thanks to TAL and others! The location is excellent - near parks, beaches and stores. Rooms are warm and welcoming. The only drawback is parking, which is difficult. However, if you do not have a car this is the place to stay in Tel Aviv ~ most excellent accomodation!

Very nice hotel. Stayed in a superior room, which was a full one bedroom, with the living room having a city view. Very spacious and clean. There is an elevator, but there are a few stairs leading up to the elevator so may be difficult for a person with disabilities. Wifi worked well, location was perfect. There is a gym offsite that they give a voucher for. It's about a 6 minute walk from the hotel

Ideal Accommodation for your next visit to TelAviv

This was my fifth stay at the Ben Yehuda Apartments. The location is ideal - a few blocks from the beach, and within easy walking distance of lovely art galleries and excellent restaurants. Since it's not exactly a hotel, sheets are changed (and rooms are cleaned) every three days. Staff is remarkably friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is the place you want to stay during your next trip to Tel Aviv!

The apartment is small, but offers everything we needed for our two-night stay in Tel Aviv. It is close to a wide selection of restaurants and two minutes' walk from the promenade, yet in a very quiet location. Highly recommended for guests who don't regard the accommodation as the main focus of the visit, or need a view from their room.

Uncomfortable beds but good location

I did not get much sleep during my stay. The double bed was two single beds pushed together. The mattress was not attached to the boxspring and the boxspring was not attached to the headboard. The boxspring was made of nylon which made the mattress slide off the boxspring when you moved. Also the beds moved on the floor and the headboard almost knocked my head. I called to the front desk twice but they said all beds are like that. They were going to send somebody to my room to see if they could do something but nobody came.
The hotel is clean and the location good but it’s not worth the price they charge. The selection of tea and coffee they supply is very good.

Spacious duplex close to beach and shops. Good facilities but on fifth floor (no Shabbat lift) so inconvenient if you are shomer shabbat (also no Shabbat keys available). Serviced apartment - cleaned every three days , but no equipment in apartment to clean at other times if necessary.

fabulous experience Tel Aviv is definitely on my return list of cities because of how dog friendly the city is and Ben Yehuda Apts will accept fur family, too, just advise in advance for correct pricing. Dogs are allowed on beaches and in parks here, in many of the bistro style restuarants, too, which there are many. Dogs are allowed on buses and trains with muzzles on, too. The Ben Yehuda Apts are near all buses to terminals where you can get another bus to Jerusalem. Great location, nice amenities and far enough from downtown for tranquility as well. I felt it to be like home away from home and there is also availability of longer term rentals I was informed. I am looking forward to returning with my whole family furbabies and all.

The front desk people are so helpful!! We felt safe walking the neighborhood. It is two blocks from the beach with many good restaurants and cute shops. The Rent-a-Guide Tour company works with the hotel, so it picked us up right at our door unlike other companies do. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, and also dishes to use. Housekeeping is different than the daily U.S., but they were so thorough. We managed very well to pull up the duvet on the days housekeeping didn’t come, and the office helped with any needs we had.

Superior 1 bedroom apartment with queen-sized bed & double sofa for 3 people was booked. Website picture of bedroom & reality did not correspond.
Had to press power button and then wait 20 minutes for hot water. Only problem is its a 15 liters tank so 3 people could not have hot showers. I now have a cold and even though informed reception nothing could be done; yet room advertised configuration is for 3 people.

The description said there was a fridge....And it was a bar fridge. The descriptions said it was a room with a view. The view was the building next door! This wasn't the view we were expecting!
All in all it was a great location! Many restaurants & coffee shops in the area!

The staff was great as was the location. However the wifi was in and out and I had to go to a cafe to be able to use it. The bed wasn't comfortable at all,and the room was dark. I felt like I was in a cave. I would stay with them again if I could get a better room, but would not stay in the room I had again ever. Also, I was there for a very long stay, but there was no price break offered which many places offer.

Reservation process was easy. Check-in was perfect - the staff is knowledgeable and helpful
The room was immaculately clean and everything worked great.
The ONLY problem is that there is no parking. Only three spaces for the entire hotel. There NO street parking. There is a parking lot a few blocks away on Ben Yehuda, otherwise you've got to park along Ayalon Street several blocks away.
Even with all that, I'd definitely stay here again.

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL AND IT'S STAFF!

WORSE THAN ANY 3RD WORLD COUNTRY HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT.

THEY WOULD NOT FIX AIR CONDITIONING THAT WAS NOT WORKING. AFTER REQUESTING TO GET IT FIXED OR CHANGE OUR ROOMS THEY VERBALLY THREATENED MY PARTNER AND I AS WELL AS STATED THAT OUR BELONGINGS WILL BE THROWN OUT OF OUR ROOMS IF WE DONT RETURN THERE IMMEDIATELY - DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE PRE PAID FOR OUR STAY.

WE WERE TERRIFIED TO STAY THERE SO WE CAME BACK FROM A BUSINESS MEETING, PACKED ALL OUR BELONGINGS AND LEFT THE HOTEL.

I HAVE TRAVELED TO ISRAEL HUNDREDS OF TIMES, I NEVER HAD SUCH AN EXPERIENCE AT ANY HOTEL!

Better off at a hotel

My intent was to stay somewhere where I could cook, to save a dime on a long holiday. While it has a small kitchenette, it was one hotplate and a student sized refrig, not adequate/ no oven and only the most basic of utensils. I would have been better off staying at a hotel and just eating out. Tel Aviv supermarkets are small and the food is very costly. Net worked fine and it is close to beach.

Great position, 10 mins from Beach, fabulous

We have stayed in these apartments for 5 out of the last 7 years on our visits to Israel & we love the position as only 10 mins from beach, minutes from all the restaurants & 10 mins from the famous art & food markets.
Very friendly helpful staff
The Apartments are cleaned every 3 days & come complete with everything you need, microwave, cutlery, cups, plates etc.
5 stars from me!!!!
There's also the added bonus of an amazing taxi driver called Ami who does a lot of work for the apartments & we have used him many times.

Only stayed one night, but would stay there again. The couch in living room wasn't so comfortable, but the bed was fine. Should have left bedroom door open as the a/c is mainly in living room. Friendly staff and nicely furnished.

Very knowledgeable front desk staff

The hotel is conveniently located on Ben Yuheda & Ben Hurion Streets. It's walking distance (20 min) to Denzingof Center. The hotel is moderately clean. The cleaning staff cleans your room every 3 days if you stay longer which can sometimes be an issue if you go to the beach and have sand on your sandals. The room has fridge, cooking top if you prefer to cook than go out to eat. It is close to the beaches and near Hilton Hotels. I asked several questions of the staff like how do I get to Jerusalem and they told me how to get there by bus which is the fastest way. I asked questions like where to shop or get this or that. They always knew.

Nice apartments in the center of it all

Nice apartments just a couple of blocks from the beach without the \"beach price.\" Absolute must to reserve parking in advance. Parking is limited but VERY convenient and overall worth the price.
