Nice Apartment Style Hotel
Hotel is located on a quiet residential street in charming Old North part of Tel Aviv, with many exemplary modern architecture post 1948, exactly what I was looking for. It is 8 minutes walking distance to Hilton beach, and just around the corner from many cute cafes, shops, and Lehamim bakery. Building is nicely renovated, tho the room can use some more practical updating, such as a new TV, and shelving in the bathroom and shower, better protection from water getting everywhere when taking shower. Toiletries are motel grade basic. Espresso service is free in lobby which is a nice touch. Best part is hotel staff - all very nice and helpful - and very knowledgeable of recommendations of things to do in the area and in assisting you with bookings throughout Israel.

This was an excellent choice for us. A great downtown location with lots of restaurants and more all nearby. Transport was also easy. The service could not be nicer nor more personal… staff respond with a smile and help you anyway they can. We will always stay here when visiting Tel Aviv. BTW : The suites are terrific!

We stay for couple of nights, room with balcony and it was great stay. The hotel location is great 2 min walk from center Dizingof St. 10 min walk from hilton Beach. The hotel is in the center to all restaurants and pubs coffy places but in quiet street.

Good location which is fairly quiet off the busy Dizengoff street. However as the block is close to other apartments whenever someone makes noise from their apartment you can hear it--shutting the window can help with making it quieter. Friendly staff and responsive to queries. However they could have made it easier to provide a late check-out as we had to ask for it several times. It was nevertheless appreciated for the 1pm check out. It's a great area to stay if you want to access Hilton beach with good dining options around as well as supermarkets and shops.

Great stay for 9 nights. Initially a bit underwhelmed with our room but it proved to be ideal and contained everything we needed, fridge, plates, TV, aircon and good bathroom. 3 guys that run the front desk are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They booked us trips and taxis when needed. A real hidden treasure is the area out the front of the hotel, great for relaxing and meeting other guests. There is a Jura coffee maker for free coffee which was also a nice surprise.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Arbel Suites in December. Our room was spacious and clean with all the facilities you need, including good air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the room had good block out blinds. It was relatively quiet, although some building going on across the street meant some early morning noise. The courtyard outside the hotel was a lovely spot to sit. The location is brilliant, close to restaurant, shops, bus routes and the beach. The breakfast at Dizengoff Café was excellent, although it can be busy there certain days of the week. The staff at Arbel were fabulous in their courtesy and service, very helpful. All in all we had a great stay and will certainly be back.

This would be a great extended stay location as it has a kitchenette (didnt see a stove) and is a couple blocks away from restaurants, bars, and shopping. This is a small little hotel with about 6 units on 5 floors. I was not happy to discover that the breakfast (off site) didnt start until 8 a.m. as we needed to leave at 6 a.m. and would have liked something before we left.

Located in a fun area of Tel Aviv. Room was OK but when I arrived late in the evening I discovered the air conditioning was broken. The night desk clerk related a long list of excuses: they had just replaced the unit, it was my fault for wanting the room to cool, she never used air conditioning at her apartment, etc. I asked to switch rooms but they were fulll. The rest of the staff were very nice and accommodating.

We loved our week long stay at Arbel Suites. It is a family run hotel in what was once an apartment building. The location was excellent - the proximity to Dizengoff St. is one of its best attributes. It may be a little older but it was very clean and well kept. The obvious negative was the building going on directly across the street. We spent our first night facing the construction but when we requested a move because of the length of our stay, they were very kind an accommodating. The free cappucino, coffee, tea in the lobby was a lovely addition.

Love this place. This is the second time I have stayed here. Very large room, with a fridge. Staff is kind and helpful, reasonably priced, very clean. Fantastic, central location. The only thing was that I tend to prefer a softer mattress and this one was a little on the harder side.

This is a great value in a \"hot\" area of Tel Aviv. Thee streets are full all night. Arbol is a block or a little more from the \"action.\" So, it is convenient, but quiet. We've stayed here before and will return.

Booked the 1 bdrm suite with a sofa bed, expecting a pull out couch. There was a not super comfortable trundle bed instead. Hotel was in a good location, off of a main street and intersection so it was quiet but with easy access to bars and restaurants. Not a major hotel so cabs might not know it or the little street it is on (which I believe is one way). Electricity tied to keeping room key in door box, so can't remove key if you want the a/c and lights on. Did not get breakfast at the hotel. Nice front porch and outdoor seating area with fountain. Small hotel on a residential street (looks like an apartment building until you see the sign on the building).

This is a good hotel but expensive but all the hotels are expensive. Nice breakfast and comfortable quiet hotel near to restaurants and the beach and a bedroom plus a small separate lounge so nice stay with helpful staff.

The staff were responsive, polite and knowledgeable. Room was bright. Aircon kept temp perfect in the hot July month. Coffee machine downstairs was amazing. Breakfasts a bit repetitive and could have been more varied. Breakfast area could have had aircon. There was noise early in the morning and during the day from the building works across the road. I certainly would recommend this hotel with its excellent location.

Only stayed there one night, but it was a great place. By far the CLEANEST hotel of the 4 that I visited during my trip to Israel -- super clean. Great customer service, they actually seemed happy to help me and have me visit. Near a super cute neighborhood with good restaurants and shops 4 blocks away. Very nice little place. Highly recommend. (no pool or workout area)

We checked in and the receptionist told us about the hotel making sure to mention several times we were in a non-smoking room. When we went up to the room, it smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes in there for several days straight. We then saw a cockroach and immediately left the hotel to find another place to stay.

Great value, adjacent construction
Hotel is in a good location, residential with several main streets very nearby with restaurants, shops, etc and also near Gordon Beach. Rooms are large and comfortable, staff is very helpful and breakfast is very good. Overall an excellent value for what you receive, compared to many other places in Tel Aviv. Only drawback was they were doing construction and demolition right across the street and the noise started early and there was dust from the demo. If you're staying there in the next months and you plan to sleep past 7:30 ask for a room that doesn't face the front of the building

This is a nice quaint hotel in a residential-like area. It it one street over from the main street Ben Yehuda Street, which has several nice restaurants. It was also not a far walk to the lovely beach of Tel Aviv. The staff was very friendly and they even let you rent bikes for free to explore the city. When we were there in April 2018, a lot of the neighboring building looked to be under renovation or construction, but the neighborhood seemed safe and quiet.

The building is old, the room so re quite large but spartantly appointed. Carpets on the floor gives a cheap look to the room.

There are really very few redeeming features to this hotel that I can think of. The location is pretty good but it stop there.
I took a small lift to my room only to be greeted with a steep and VERY narrow staircase leading up to the room itself. The staircase was so narrow that it was nigh impossible to get a medium-sized suitcase up the stairs without bashing the walls.
The room was so small that there was nowhere to put my suitcase except on the only table in the room but the table wasn't particularly big so the suitcase could barely fit on it - and this made the tiny space leading to the staircase even smaller.
As mentioned, the room was tiny but had an ENORMOUS roof terrace, a small part of which was set up for anyone using it; the rest hadn't seen a cleaner in years. The roof terrace itself was nice enough if it weren't for the constant loud construction noise next door. Not exactly relaxing or conducive to working there (the room is so small that there is no working space). What the hotel should have done is torn down the walls of the room and made a beautifully large penthouse with expansive views but there's clearly little investment in this hotel so why would they?
The a/c unit was not only loud but dripped water constantly from it and, at night when you're trying to sleep, these drips were very loud.
Housekeeping was a joke - it took them all of 5 mn to clean the room.
