Fantastic experience and wonderful place to stay!! I loved everything about this hotel. Location is terrific and they have an amazing courtyard in the back. Beautifully decorated and stylish and comfortable. Great place to stay. The location is perfect close to the beach and surrounded by lots of restaurants and supermarkets. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were super friendly. My phone ran out of data and I couldn’t call a taxi to catch a train, but the lady at the front desk immediately helped me out and even explained my location to the driver. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a cute, nice, and affordable boutique hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, with assistance to help us get to the airport. The room was big, and clean. There’s a really cute garden out back to enjoy. Overall, a great stay I wish I was there for more than one night!

Avoid if you have a car

I'll start with the pros: This hotel is centrally located, and the staff are nice and go out of their way to try and accommodate guests. They are really the main reason I ended up giving the hotel 3 stars.

However, the hotel is located in the middle of a multi-year infrastructure project that, through no fault of their own, makes it an impossible stay for anybody with a car. Virtually all the streets around the hotel are blocked off, and Google Maps isn't updated so you'll constantly find yourself making impossibly long detours trying to get to a parking lot.

Which parking lot, you ask? Not the hotel's because it doesn't have one. Also, not the one a couple of blocks away that the hotel directs you to, because it is ALWAYS at capacity and you simply won't be able to use it. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and wasn't able to use that parking lot a single time. Therefore, the only options are: Park at the Tel Aviv Port, a 12 minute walk from the hotel, or park at Dizengoff 221, a 4 minute walk from the hotel but also a NIS 250 overnight charge to park ($70).

Long story short, this hotel simply can't be considered as an option for anybody with a car, and I wish they had told me that upfront rather than continuing to tell me that the lot next to the hotel will be free \"tomorrow\", \"on weekdays\", etc. It wasn't and it isn't, period.

Lovely little hotel in Tel Aviv. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Fantastic spread for breakfast which was served most of the morning so we appreciated being able to get up when we liked.
Location was perfect - close to many nice restaurants and shops, easy bus routes and only 10 mins to the beach front.
Room was clean and comfortable (some road noise but I think that’s normal for TLV).

Poor customer service. I had arranged a taxi from the airport gave all my detauls and then nothing came. Told 3 staff members nothing happened. Also on first day they took a 700 sheckle deposit just in case i trashed the room asked another guest they said they didnt do that. Staff were a bit frosty towards me and gave dirty towels so had to keep asking for more. Also owner was trying to push for me to get an upgrade when i refused she didnt bother me again. Breakfast was supposed to be included was told that was extra so decided to eat out even though i booked this at the time.

This boutique hotel is out of this world. We were greeted with espresso drinks upon arrival. The lobby and the back and front gardens are beautiful, and the rooms are newly remodeled with all possible amenities. The service was beyond our expectations and experience (we travel extensively). Bravo!

I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at your hotel from June 9 to June 10, 2023. While there were some positive aspects of my experience, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay and left us feeling dissatisfied.
Firstly, I would like to address the pricing and payment process. We booked our room through Hotel.com and were surprised to discover that the taxes were not included in the initial payment of $500. Typically, when booking through Hotel.com, all costs are paid upfront or clearly mentioned in advance, including any resort fees. However, it seems that this is not the case in Israel. It would have been helpful to have this information communicated clearly during the booking process.
Additionally, parking was a major inconvenience for us. As we arrived with two cars, we were disappointed to learn that there was no parking available at the hotel. The closest parking option we could find charged approximately 120 NIC per car, and when we drove to our restaurant in the evening, we had to pay another 120 NIC for parking. In total, we ended up spending around 360 NIC on parking alone. It would have been beneficial if the hotel had provided information about parking availability and associated costs in advance.
On the positive side, the hotel itself was nice and clean, which is something we highly value. However, the level of service fell short of our expectations compared to European or American standards.

A lovely a friendly hotel. On arrival my welcome was warm and relaxed, with a check in drink to add to friendly start. My room (on floor 2) was a good sized and well equipped with a comfortable bed. The shared spaces were a quiet terraced garden to the rear, a bar in the lobby in which breakfast was served and out door seating to the front on the hotel, perfect to watch the world go by. I will be using A23 on my next trip.

The Hotel is pretty centrally located, close to shops, restaurants, beach, public transportation. The room was clean, recently renovated/updated. The bed was comfy, there was a pull out couch, which was set up as a bed and worked perfectly for 2 small kids. There was a mini bar and kitchenette. The room faced the back of the property, overlooking the cute courtyard.

The atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant, with spaces to hang out, have some morning coffee or an evening refreshment. The decor was very quaint and unique. You can tell a lot of care and attention went into putting it together! It is clean and well cared for.

I cannot say enough with regards to how friendly, helpful and accommodating the hotel staff was. They truly made our stay exceptional!

Superb boutique hotel in a great location.
We stayed here for a week in November. All the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and can be enjoyed in the lovely private courtyard. The hotel is walking distance of Hilton Beach (about 7 minutes’ walk away). We had an executive suite room which was spotlessly clean. The extra room with the sofa was great for relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The only small negative is that the bathroom is very small although it has an excellent shower. The hotel is in a great location on the corner of Dizengoff with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The buses are very cheap and frequent. We loved the personal touch of being in a boutique hotel. It felt like home for a week. I highly recommend the A23.

I really wanted to like it, since the score is high, however, during my entire stay. There’s no one thing made me feel safe and caring. First of all. They messed up my identity with my parents, room charge went wrong and couldn’t be more off . Secondly, they refused to correct their mistake that caused by their poor training on their employees. My room was wrong charged for unnecessary “upgrade” . Which I had no way to change it since I was there with my partner. The staff are rude and careless.

I understand it’s a family_run small hotel . That doesn’t make their mistakes and wrong attitude reasonable. especially for the price they charge. Sorry I have to tell the true story.

If you prioritize the service quality and cleanliness. Do your homework.

It was an incredible stay at the A23. The staff was excellent always there for anything we needed. Tali made for us the best cappuccinos I’ve ever tried. Tomer was always smiling and being very nice. The room was extremely clean, a beautiful bathroom filled with all the amenities and the bed was extremely comfortable! The location couldn’t be better. Filled with restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops all around. The beach is 7 minutes walking distance and the hotel has for you beach towels. I really recommend this hotel very much. I loved my stay at A23. Easy check-in, warm friendly reception. Just walking into the Hotel made me feel very comfortable - tables and chairs inside and outside, and especially the secret rear garden. The decor of the rooms was pleasing on the eye; fully renovated rooms and bathrooms; very comfortable bed and pillows; double-glazed windows; individual air conditioning. Best of all is the staff - Tali at welcome desk and everyone else. Felt like we were all family. Loved the position. Will definitely return.

We loved our stay at the hotel! It was extremely clean, comfortable quiet and the location was terrific - right in the center of Tel Aviv. But what made this hotel exceptional was the amazing service. Tali the manager was extremely warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we need to make our stay comfortable. We were greeted with a personal welcome note and a basket of fruit in out room. They have a cute backyard where you can enjoy a meal outside. We did not purchase the hotel breakfast but it looked delicious. I will definitely be back and highly recommend the hotel to others looking to stay in Tel Aviv

Far from a boutique hotel

I ordered the executive room.Late check-in at 15:00 and checkout is at 12:00. When I asked to leave at 15:00 they asked for 300 shekels! I ordered via hotels.com and but they wanted to charge me 500 shekels more. After arguing and letting them know I will complain to hotels.com they agreed not to charge me extra. Room was clean but beds are not comfortable at all! Breakfast is very basic. Overall the service was nice and welcoming.

In my travel, I ran across the faceless People.They were looking down at their phone. Not saying hello and rude. I assumed I had to become a faceless person and a button pusher.SWISH to A 23 Boutique Hotel Tel Aviv, Israel. SWISH to the host Maya with a Bright Smiles.Swish to connection and politeness.
Swish to hearing my name being called instead of hearing click,click,click\" Swish away from the Cold Facesless People who can not relate. I would rather Swish to the Caveman times,at least they could relate. No technology then. I will always remember the change from the Faceless People and Button Pushers. To the Swish to the Blessed People of Israel. I had to return to the cold faceless reality I had only known until I went to Israel and met the People with a Face.

MY 1st visit to Israel ....Travel to the airport,arriving on Shabbat My plane louched down at 10:10a.m. It took 3 hours to get through passport and customs. Definitely would stay again!

Amazing stay and superb service.
We stayed as a couple at the end of the business day and were positively surprised by the service, overall experience and location.
The only not-so browny point is the elevator - painfully slow. But that is part of the deal, I guess - and helps one to wind down...

Great beautiful hotel.

This hotel was a truly wonderful surprise. It is very well located, near many attractions in Tel Aviv. The rooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds and lots of little details that make your stay a great experience. At the lobby there are complementary pastries, juices and wine all day long. In the back there's a little outdoor space with sofas, where you can expend an evening chatting and having a drink. They also have bikes that you can take for free and go explore the city. The most important thing is the staff, they all are warm beautiful people, always willing to help, and make you feel at home with friends. They always welcome you with a smile. Definitely recommend this place and look forward to go back sometime.

Wonderful Hotel

We came in from a redeye and a connection, and they couldn't have been nicer. Check-in was relaxed, and we happened to catch the end of their nightly happy hour (which goes from 6 to 11 or so!).

Would absolutely stay there again.

We liked the room and the location. The shower leaked all over the room and we were told it is like this in Israel. This is not true because we stayed in several hotels and none leaked. The girl at the reception had no clue about local restaurants and there was no one else to ask. Otherwise the place is decorated nicely and I like the bath products.
