The room was extremely dirty and hasnt been painted probably over 20 years.
No one is in the front desk until 8:00 am, so i had to stay in my car for hour and half in my car after a 22 hours trip. and

The hotel has the perfect location, along a beautiful beach. It borders Tel Aviv, and other central cities in Israel, which means you can get to various locations easily. The hotel CEO, Orly, gives personal attention to all details and guests like nothing I’ve experienced before. Staff greats you every time they see you. Dining in the hotel is in the coffee shop, which serves excellent breakfast, and Mediterranean menu throughout the day. Rooms are clean, and have a little kitchen that serves us perfectly. Will definitely use this hotel again in future travel.

Don’t ever stay there if Orly is the manager!! She comes to work everyday with a mission to make guests miserable. After 12 years staying here every summer we decided that until this witch is fired we will not stay there again. She turned our vacation to a nightmare!

Liked the size and layout of the room and the easy check-in and the breakfast.

Everything else was disappointing:
the mean hotel manager (Orly) who blocked our exit and screamed at us when we tried to bring our kids to the pool (which was only open until 6 pm),
the lack of direct access to the beach (you have to walk a half mile in the sun on a dangerous road around a construction site to get there),
the dirtiness of the elevators and hallways and breakfast tables,
the ugly stains on the room furniture and walls…

Enjoyed our suite and the refrigerator, stove top, microwave and work area. Small but functional. Staff was helpful as needed, and facility pool was beautiful and enjoyable, along with snack bar on site.

Breakfast was a plus, and delicious with nice salads, fruit and omelette to your choosing.
Staff at breakfast were kind and attentive.

Paying for parking was an extra expense that I would have liked to be included at a hotel, but was worthwhile and accessible.

Very noisy, we came to get some rest and sleep well, we weren’t able to get this simple request from luxury hotel.
After few times we asked to get our neighbors quiet, they hotel offered us to change room, and we got a new room (in the middle of the night) which was more quiet but very simple and without sea view which I paid extra for this

We love staying here, this is our 3rd visit The suite gives of you plenty of room and the hotel is quiet. The pool is large and often empty. The downside of staying here is that it is off the beaten track so you have to be prepared to walk to use public transport or use taxis or have a car. Also no on site food but you do have a great beach bar in 5 mins walk and coffee / tea are provided together with simple cooking facilities.

Amazing stay

We received a warm welcome with Reception Manager Ammon and his team Hadar so helpful in dealing with any issues concerning trips and pèlerinage and Daniel. The breakfast team were amazing, the food was delicious and all arrangements were made to make our stay pleasant and relaxing , we will like thanks Manager Anat and Shaher for all the efforts and extra miles. An isolated, but still good hotel

I generally enjoyed this hotel. The room was spacious considering its charge. The breakfast there was terrific, and the swimming pool was also nice. But its location is a bit inconvenient: it is located in northern Tel Aviv, but almost Herzliya. You need a taxi to go to anywhere. But not too bad.

Traveled with my family to Israel for passover. We go to Israel 1-2 times a year for the past 20 years. We always stay with family especially on the holidays, so i was a bit hesitant to book a hotel after so many years... needless to say my experience was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms are exceptionally clean, the amenities were great and the breakfast was the most incredible way to start off the day! We spoke to a supervisor once we arrived because we had a few requests. Her name was Anat and she was out of this world. It didnt matter what time we called or what we needed, it got done within a few minutes. 5 star staff 5 star experience 5 star hotel. 10/10 would recommend and i will definitely be back with my family!

Hotels are exoenaive in Tel Aviv and this is a good standard hotel on that basis. Our room with \"sea view balcony\" was anything but. A bit of space if yiu stuck your neck out of, maybe yiu see the sea. The hotel smelt damp and there were a lot of flies everywhere which felt horrid. Staff are lovely. The beach is srunning just a few minutes away. The pool is really wondeeful, but too.cold qhen we went. So not terrible for the price, but i would rather have paid more for a nicer place.

Right on the beach - quieter than Tel Aviv proper

We really liked the shower head and water pressure. The mattress was comfortable as were the pillows. At first the room seems really really small but the u get used to it and it’s fine. The bedroom has room to walk around the bed and that’s it. It’s small. Balcony though nice is also super small. Our room had no view- we faced another building and were on the first floor. But maybe if we paid more we could get a view. hmm. There was a refrig and microwave and coffee maker - none were used but nice to know it was there. There is no safe - we had to bring our $ with us to the beach - hmmm. Two large TVs in the Wall - we didn’t use but good to see they were there. The pool is wonderful - chaise lounges are really nice. Gym is outstanding. Hallways are a bit musty, dark, dank, and unairconsitioned - but you get used to it and it’s fine. Breakfast is amazing- so is the coffee. Don’t forget to ask Ali to make u an omelette - he will and it’s included!! You are really really close to the beach which we did each morning / perfection! Parking was easy as was getting here from the airport. We liked the short drive to Tel Aviv proper and the 15 shekel Parking lots there. It was a good idea to stay here and we would definitely rebook.

Cleanliness of the rooms is decent, but could be even better (a common issue in Israeli hotels).
An important thing to know if you like working out late like I do: the main entrance to the gym locks at 11 PM, but you can enter the gym through the outdoor pool 24/7.

The room was not clean and it smelled bad. The staff was not responsive (it took two days for them to change a sheet that had a hole and toilet paper rolls were not regularly replenished in the room). The hotel used to be beautiful but it is not well maintained. On the plus side - the pool is very nice.

Very good, if you come prepared

This is a new-ish hotel right next to the beach, with a great pool area, wonderful fitness room, and very good breakfasts. It's a shame that the hotel does not see itself has a full-service resort, which it could be if it had a restaurant or room service. There are no supermarkets nearby. If you come prepared to either make your own food or go out every day/night then you are fine, but I imagine that this would be difficult for someone without a car (and, if you are planning to go into Tel Aviv proper, then parking isn't so fun). Otherwise, a great place with lovely service.

The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved the location. My children enjoyed the pool and the set up of the suites.

Very upset that the hotel was not kosher...there is no teuda....we could not eat the food and we paid for it.

Also, the hotel wanted me to pay more money and said that there was mistakes I. My reservation.

I never experienced such an issue. That really put a damper on our vacation.

Very nice hotel, the staff is very attentive and pleasant. The rooms are clean and quite big. The beach is just by and it is very well located if you need to be close to the north of Tel-Aviv. The only problem is the internet connection should be better.

Nice quiet location by the beach - out of the way for some peace & quiet.
Spacious rooms - suits. Sumptuous breakfast. walk to the beach - enjoy the outdoor pool weather permitting. drive to anywhere else.
Nice restaurants within 10 minute drives north in Herzelia, or south in Ramat Aviv.
Easy drive into Tel Aviv itself.
Easy access to the major highways although during morning and afternoon rush hours may not be the best idea.

We Keep Coming Back

Very Pleasant off the beaten path, just book a re-visit in 3 months from now.
Suite hotel, spacious, modern, well maintain, excellent service with new improved restaurant - that will now serve light meals through out the day. This is in addition to the sumptuous breakfast.

Nice hotel with average location.

A lovely hotel which is close to the beach and has spacious and comfortable suites. The location is probably the biggest issue with this hotel if you intend to do many things in \"downtown\" Tel-Aviv/Jerusalem. Most trips will likely require a 60 shekel (~15 dollar) taxi ride each way, which while that might not be a big deal, once you include the transit/wait times, it can begin to be a bit of an annoyance. There also isn't much nearby (food, shopping, etc.) So you'll need to go into town to get much of anything done.

However, that part aside, it really was a delight to stay there. Oh and the restaurant is a bit disappointing.

Not really a hotel, more like apartments.

I arrived expecting a five star hotel experience with the amenities you would expect from such. However, although our superior suite was nice, a good size and fair view, the hotel itself did not measure up. The restaurant was very small, I assumed it was the lobby cafe. There was a small gym and a fair sized pool but that was it. No other amenities at all, which considering it is in the middle of nowhere, was very disappointing. There was no shop you could even walk to. There was a nice cafe on the beach where we tended to eat out lunch. The cleanliness was also not up to standard and on two occasions our room was not cleaned. The breakfast was limited and when busy on the weekends we were neglected. We ended up getting a hire car for our entire stay and driving into hertlzliya or tel aviv each day.

cant understand how the hotel got good reviews

Anywhere you turn this hotel is poor.
Check in is slow, and the poor clerk has no ability to help, as their hands are tied by management, that cares only on cutting costs.

Room is dirty and furnishings are old and have no place in a hotel room that costs between $200-$350 per night.

Sheets and blankets are not of the quality of a hotel that charges these prices.

Internet connection is very slow, and intermittent.

Breakfast is of low quality ingredients, again consistent with cost savings by hotel management.

Several times there are irate customers that were literally shouting in the lobby, and hallways.

I was there for 9 days, and all the above, was not isolated to one day, it repeated every day.

Hotel looks nice, however - the service & cleanliness was super horrible. We had to come back to an untouched by housekeeper room for 4 days and had to bagg for a soap & clean towel... 5 star experience ??? I wouldn't give even 2 stars for the basic service wasn't provided and made our stay super frustrated as the expectations of a clean hotel should be a MUST in a 5 stars rating... I wouldn't recommend it at all unless you want to spend you vacation by cleaning your own room.

The hotel is located a walking distance to a great beach; enjoy a beautiful walk at the beach
The rooms just OK, the furniture is not in great condition (i.e. scuffs, cabinets doors are not closing etc.)

Hotel site claims free internet. Internet is NOT free and quite expensive! When discussing it with front desk people they said WIFI internet is free in hotel lobby in rude fashion as if the customer was an inconvenience! This is insulting 1950s style of squeezing the unsuspecting customer. Everyone today knows that the cost of WIFI is nil. Hotel accommodation reality is that less costly hotels around the world don't play this offensive bait and switch game anymore.

Avoid the weekend

Hotel is very pleasant, staff is very accommodating, convenient to major highways.
Comes Friday or Thursday night the hotel is overrun by locals
Noisy parties in the room on Thursday evening , and an overwhelmed kitchen and staff for Friday morning breakfast.
Breakfast is a delight and is worth the wait and the sub par service on Fridays
Come and enjoy all other days

Nice enough hotel in an awkward location

You should stay at the West if you are visiting people who live nearby. Even then, it's almost impossible to walk anywhere, as the hotel is rather isolated and you have to move by taxi every single time. It's a long stretch to downtown Tel Aviv, its museums and its cafes.

Great Hotel for non-tourists

West boutique hotel is a wonderful new property located next to the beach, in a quiet location far from the hustle and bustle of the Tel Aviv downtown. Ideal place to relax if you have a rental car or do not mind taking a taxi into town (everything is close there). The service is authentic (which means it is not polished at all), but people are genuine and generally care about your needs.

It is the second time for our stay
as far as we are concerned it is in an excellent location between the very north of Tel Aviv & Herzeliya very quick access to the hustle & Bustle of Tel Aviv either via the Highway or via the shore road as well as access to highways road heading North, East, or South - heading west is the fabulous beach
Modern clean professional all suite hotel - all that you want including peace & quiet

My first second and third choice on follow-up visits - which I do 3-4 times a year

Clean hotel with \"standard\" Israeli service

Hotel was modern and clean. Breakfast was *excellent*. Rooms were well apportioned with a reasonable view. When i stayed there the pool was empty (or under construction), so if that's part of your interest (it was mine) call to see if they've opened it since then. The staff was definitely not something to write home about, but something that seemed like a common occurance in Israel in general. Overall the hotel is located in a bit of a deadspot so expect to have a rental car or cab pretty much everywhere you go.
