The first few nights in the 12 bed dormentry room were okay, but the last three nights have been very noisy and people entering the room at 2am and leaving their cell phone on, which woke me up ! Also last night a guy entered the room at 3am went on a top bunkbed by the toilet and then moved to the bunkbed above me making a lot of noise and when he finally got to sleep, started snoring very uncomfortable and kept me awake, I would recommend this Hostel !

Upon arriving at the hostel, I was informed that you had to rent a towel and if you wanted a clean towel everyday then you would have to pay 15 shekels, which is equivalent to £3.50 a day, which is disappointing !

Also there's no breakfast option and the bar drinks are expensive, they had a problem with the WiFi router and it's very slow speed ! But there is unlimited free water ! They have a laundry room but only one washer and one dryer, totally unacceptable considering they have quite a lot of rooms including private rooms at the premises !

Also there's no windows in any of the rooms ! But they do have air-conditioners and curtains on all of the bunk beds for privacy ! And lockers I have the rooms !

It's overpriced for a hostel and the location is convenient to Tel Aviv Port and beaches and local amenities and local transit station and transit routes in and around Israel !

It’s an absolute bargain stay here. Ok, the rooms are small but for the money, you can’t do better.
Staff are friendly and helpful, nice communal area, well stocked bar.

I stayed in a private bedroom and bathroom at The Spot Hostel, and I was really impressed. The place feels new and well-designed — clean, modern, and with a cool aesthetic that seems to incorporate shipping containers into the structure in a creative way. The vibe is social but relaxed, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.

There’s a good little restaurant on-site and great coffee in the mornings. The bar feels more like a local hangout than a typical hostel bar, which was a nice surprise. It’s in a fantastic location — just steps from the Mediterranean Sea and surrounded by walkable streets, beaches, and everything you’d want in a coastal city. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stylish, well-located stay with a chill atmosphere.

Air conditioning inside the room was terrible. Was not cold at all. Was like a sauna inside the room. We told the front desk reception. They refused to change our room and refused to even come and check the AC or to resolve the issue. Terrible service.

Basic Hostel in Good Location

The location was good for us; next to a large park, the river, 5 minutes from the beach and half hour walk from the University train station. The hostel has breakfast, a bar which serves food, a shared kitchen, laundry and facilities like a pool table. We had an issue when we arrived as there had been confusion over the room we booked. This was sorted out straight away. The rooms are comfortable but basic. There's no hairdryer and pillows are thin. We stayed in three rooms and all were configured slightly differently. One thing to be aware of which isn't clear on here is that most rooms don't have windows. If you are visually impaired or claustrophobic like me, bear this in mind when booking as it is dark! Staff are friendly on the whole, but one in particular was just plain rude and I'd done nothing to warrant it. Conversely, the cleaner from our section was very friendly and helpful and was always on hand when I needed anything.

Great value for the price. I got a \"pod room\", which is very small but exactly what I expected and all I needed for my one night in Tel Aviv. The place is really cool - good bar, good food, good sitting areas for work or relaxing. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location in easy walking distance to the waterfront area. Would definitely stay here again under similar circumstances.

Didn’t get the bank for your buck .

Location was great ! The reservation was for 3 people. The pull out couch was broken and only a sheet was left to make it ( no blanket or pillow). Front desk was helpful.
I’m the middle of the night when one of us went to the bathroom the commode would not stop running ( we were to tired and in PJ so we didn’t go front desk ) .

The room was quite spacious and clean. I love the music being played at the common place. Unfortunately the blanket provided was too small not enough to cover our feet comfortably. Check in was slower with only 1 personnel working.Not much variety or choices with the breakfast meal,also someone came in the room and replaced our towels without being told while we were out.

Pros: a hip hostel with a choice of room types, located a short walk to the old port waterfront, dining, shopping and concert venue. Friendly service and an on-site bar. Cons: small rooms, not everything worked (faulty bathroom door lock and USB charger sockets), expensive parking. Overall a nice experience and a good value for the area, would stay again.

Great hostel, wish i booked the single pod type room, as with shared dorms you are at the mercy of others (noise, lights turned on, etc). Very clean, staff was great. A little over an hr walk to jaffa. Always a plus when there is hot water and air conditioning. Would stay again!

We came for 1 night. The location is perfect: in the old port of Tel Aviv and just 2 minutes walk from the Riding parking and bus terminal.
The room was Ok. Very very clean and comfortable bed. The only problem was that the walls are very thin and you can hear anything that happends in the hall or the close rooms.
The lobby is vary nice. Before the Corona there were nice activities and a cool bar but now its closed.
The breakfast was in the next Abufafia branch. It was ok but much less than the original breakfast in the hotel's bar & restaurant.

I had a pleasant stay at the Spot Hostel. I booked a reasonably sized cabin room, with access to a clean shared bathroom. The staff on reception were helpful and approachable for whenever I needed assistance, such as booking an airport taxi for a fixed price in the early hours of the morning. I enjoyed waking up to their Israeli breakfast at the bar. It was delicious! However, I would recommend the reception staff to inprove their speed at check in. I waited 10 minutes to be checked in on arrival. I also recommend the reception staff to communicate better with the in-house cleaners, as they did not clean my room and replace my towel once during my 4 night stay. This was very disappointing. For this reason, I'm not sure if I would stay at the Spot Hostel again.

Wonderful hostel! I’ve been to a couple so far and this is so far the best one. Super friendly and helpful staff. Every bed has curtains, so even though you are sharing a room, you have some privacy and are not waken up by lights. They also have usb sockets, individual lockers, kitchen, loads of activities happening every day at the hostel... Everything from the breakfast, staff friendliness to how clean this hotel was perfect. Thanks a lot!

Capsule room small but adequate with one drawback

Close to busy area. Very modern hostel. No frills, but style. I stayed in a capsule room and found it offered jist what i needed. No more. No less. The capsule room is very small but sufficient for a solo traver who is a light packer. Breakfast offered too late if you have a day trip planned with an early start. The one real complaint i have is that in an effort to be conscious of electric use they have created a very inconvenient and frustrating situation. If you have the light on because you are reading in bed or if you are trying to charge a device, you have to keep opening and closing the door since the electric keeps shutting off. Any plans to charge a device overnight are doomed.

Great, brand-new hostel that is more like a pod hotel. Even shared bathrooms are sparkling clean. Single rooms are tiny, but that’s why they are budget friendly. Amazing breakfast! The mini-shakshukas were a hit on Instagram. Location is convenient by the port and not far from beaches, but challenging for taxis to find, since it’s located in the parking lot of a shopping center. Make sure you have the telephone number handy, so the driver can call for directions. Recommended!

Incredible common area, wildly impressive breakfast, and astounding atmosphere both inside and on the patio. Easily accessible from the airport -- one bus will take you directly to the Spot. My criticisms are thus: upon early arrival (around 6:30am), I was informed that I could leave my baggage on the property before my 3pm checkin, but could not have breakfast because I was not yet a customer. This is horrible. The person who informed me of this left, and the next receptionist allowed me to have a breakfast, which was wonderfully appreciated. After a sleepless flight, the last thing one needs is to have to arrive at their place of lodging and then be told to go run around to find breakfast nearby when other guests are helping themselves to a buffet of shared plates. The other thing -- rooms need better ventilation. Best to book a room without a bathroom, as they are quite damp and musty. For the price, however, this is a minor inconvenience if one considers the quality of the common area and the breakfast. The attitude of the first receptionist, even if he was just \"following the rules,\" prevented me from booking the full week and I only stayed one night.

I was in a private room and it was HOT, with no ability to adjust temperature – I was awake sweating all night. In addition, reception gave another person a key to my private room, and I was awoken at 3:30am by someone walking into my space where they shouldn’t have had access. Unacceptable. When I told reception about it in the morning, she didn’t even apologize – just stated their booking system showed the room was open.

Good price, but rooms for improvement

It is a new hostel with chic vibe. Located at the very north of Tel Aviv, it’s close to the port and shopping area. The shared area is big and open. However, being new, there are rooms for improvement to make it more user friendly. I stayed in the single room (which is smaller than I expected) with only a small window that opens up to the hallway. The light in the hallway is shining on me throughout the night and definitely couldn’t escape from some noises. It’s not favorable with ventilation as well. The room and bathroom could use some hooks too.

The hostel is newly open, less than 1 month. Not everything is perfect just yet. The place has a lot of potential. The staff was welcoming and nice.
Please know the directions on google maps is a bit off by 1 block. Also, they're not easily visible from the street.

The hostel as building site. AVOID until built.

Allegedly they were open all night so not worried when flight delayed. The taxi driver couldnt find it, (google had it in the middle of a junction), and forced me out. A young man (I am 70) helped me and we checked the area for over 1hr he phoned them 3 times but no answer. We asked at another hotel NO idea. Eventually by 3am he was forced to leave and I checked into the hotel which cost me 800NIS with no breakfast. Tried phoning in the morning no reply. Eventually found it in a parking place.No signs to it No name on it. Obviously a building site and still being built. Person in charge said their phone was inoperative. Put in what I can only assume would become the disabled room from the toilet and shower construct. Just abed and 3 (?)small bedside cabinets. No mirror no bin no safe. Shower spread all over the floor even into the sleeping area leaving me to paddle around. The room was not soudproofed and near the reception and corridor to the rooms which were usuable. It was very noisy. No window to outside. I walked round and place was under constructon furniture all in bubble wrap, kitchen just a shell (Breakfast obviously brought in ) Dust and gravel everywhere, naked wires trailing down from ceiling. A place not even half built situated in a car park . The young staff were apologetic and obviously realised it shouldnt have been open yet. I took photos of the works but promised them I wouldnt post on my review as they were so upset by manning a dump.
