The shower wouldn’t drain. For 7 days of my stay, every morning I’m asking to fix it, they promise they will and at night it doesn’t. For 7 days I couldn’t take one good shower.

The perfect stay

From booking to check in the service was friendly and efficient. The hotel has a massive parking garage it costs extra but is within reson.
The breakfast is what you would expect at any good hotel with plenty of verity and great service.
The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable.
The shower was amazing like standing under a water fall.

Would recommend and will 100% stay there again.

Great hotel, great price, and great location

This is a very nice and convenient hotel in Tel Aviv, but outside the super busy center. Lots of great food options, convenient to buses, and also to the airport. The only thing is that there is only one place for services if you're looking for a synagogue and it's in the medical center.

Let's start with the one and only con thing. Israelis need to pay vat unlike tourists from other place, mentioning that, the rest is positive, care for the small details as shoe brush, knitting kit, in the room, huge tv channel list, very comfy bed, nice view, gym, meeting room with refreshments, office facilities, , tv, couches. Location is suburb of Tel aviv. Parking is 80 for the duration of stay. Overall very recommended. Great value for the money

After many years of travel to Israel and staying at excellent hotels, I have been staying exclusively at Leonardo Boutique in the heart of quaint Ramat Hahayal, Tel Aviv for my past dozen trips to Tel Aviv.
Surrounded by excellent, family oriented restaurants the staff treat me like family, the food is fresh, exemplary Israeli complete with custom breakfasts, and a spacious business lounge with all day gourmet coffee.
From the moment i walk through the door, I don't need to wait on line. The Class-Act reception desk greets me by name with my keys ready, room upgrade when available: whether the friendly Michal, Or, Tommy, Shai, Ron or Amit - impeccable English, all under the management of Berta, they will quickly adopt you as a family member and honored guest.
In the morning, Pablo, a pro barrista fixes you a cappuccino, while Ayala and Igor find you a nice table. Personal fresh Omlet chef Nafar and Brandon know your favorite dish, while Arika, Thomas, Elijah and Federico are at your service with a buffet spread that makde Israeli breakfast famous. Elias runs a worpd class dining experience as manager.
I cannot peave out the excellent housekeeping amd generap staff members, who all introduce themselves and remind me they want my stay to be comfortable and relaxing: There's Salomon, Matem, Mohamad, Ramzi, of course Yulia and Vitali, Chandani, Rhodug, and Johny, Mark, Oleg, Kobi, David, Benny & Nazim. This hotel is located on a small street that is shared with a hospital. It took around 15 minutes to travel 500 meters to get to the hotel, and then you need to find nearby paid parking.

The floors in the rooms are gross. They are a weird textured black and there are no doors separating the restrooms from the living spaces, so your bed faces the sink and toilet.

At night the traffic eases up (after 7 pm) but there is nearby noise from bars and when there’s a game on at night the noise can be very disturbing. Stayed at many Tel Aviv locations, chose this as needed one night and wanted something more affordable but would not go here again.

My stay at this hotel was plagued with issues. When I arrived late at night to find there is no on-site parking, I was directed to park at the hospital across the street. Trying to exit their parking lot I somehow found myself strolling through a hospital unit with my luggage around midnight. Creepy and weird.

Eventually made my way to the hotel. Check in was slow and annoying, where you were forced to use some finicky tablet that didn't quite work.

Room was fine, shower had good water pressure. A/C didn't work for me first two nights, but was later fixed. This was a big issue for me that cost me a night's sleep. On Thursday there is a nearby night cliub that blasts music till at least 3am, costing me another sleepless night.

Breakfast is decent, though not as good as it looks at first sight. Coffee is pretty terrible.

Forgot some clothes in my room at check out, called hotel and asked about it, they said they would call back but never did.

Only good thing is they let me exit my room a few days early, but even that was after many attempts and them changing their position several times.

Nice hotel, amazing breakfast buffet (best ever??) and friendly and accommodating staff. Liked the business lounge. Only issues around sound proofing of room (lots of noise from corridor and street), and better blackout blinds would be appreciated.

Hotel room and location is good. Breakfast variety is limited for my 9 days stay. Was yelled by the chef that Sat breakfast is 8am and witness a mother with her 2 young kids in their tracksuit being refused to pack breakfast for them. The Chef was going out of control, yelling and shouting. Poor kids to go through this and empty stomach. Shouldn't a chef duty to feed his guests? The food are mostly ready but it is just not 8am sorry no food for them. I understand there are rules but this is the first time it was handled in such a harsh manner. Worse experience ever as an international traveller I would say.

Good hotel in north Tel aviv, in a high tech industrial area. Lots of restaurants around. Close to the northern part of Tel-Aviv.
Hotel is modern and nice. Clean, great for short stay. Breakfast is good, with a nice verity of hot and cold options.
We stayed in a standard room. Not very big but definitely sufficient for a 1 night stay. Shower is spacious and has great water pressure.
Free wifi in excellent and so is the business center of the 9th floor. Many options for dinner, right outside the hotel, or in a very short walking distance.

Hotel doesn't care if you live in dirty clothes...

Tried to organise laundry however no one came to collect it. They have 3 different documents with 3 different times to collect laundry. Receptionist didn't seem to care at all and suggested to wait until tomorrow...in dirty underwear and to read the correct time, which I did on the laundry sheet in my room.

Totally overpriced and service is garbage. Don't believe the hype. I won't be staying at any leonardo hotel ever again and won't be recommending to friends or clients.

Great city break

We stayed at the Leonardo for a quick city break. The hotel is quite and clean but with small rooms.
The business lounge has a very nice buffet (free for guests) and a very reasonably priced bar.
The breakfast is more than you can handle, lots of dishes and salads.
It seems the hotel needs a little renovation in and around the rooms, but nothing major.
The check in and check out were fast and efficient.
Lots of great restaurants around the hotel.

When I booked, I requested and non-smoking, quiet room. I received a room in the smoking floor at the hotel, across from the elevators. The room smelled like cigarettes so I requested a room change. Unfortunately, The only room available head to shared door with the adjacent room. So I spent the first night hearing the person next-door snore. The next day, I requested a room change once again. This time I was given a quiet and private room, but I’m not sure why I needed to move twice. Check in took a long time, partly because there was a trainee. I’m all for giving trainees all the time they need, however, after a while, I mentioned I was in a hurry. Still, non of the available staff made a point to help with check in. The next day, there were a few staff people that were good but as a whole, the hotel doesn’t get high service score in my mind. The best thing about this place is breakfast, but for the price, I expected the rest of the experience to be better. Not likely to stay here again, even though the hotel has a convenient location for me.

Staf was good and polite. Room good size but only one chair. No extra electrical outlets to charge phnes etc. Only one in the bathroom. Big bathroom and clean but with glass doors. To switch on bathroom lights at night the whole room lit up and woke up my spouse.

Great pre-marathon hotel

This hotel is one of the closest to the marathon start. Area has lots of restaurants and it wasn't hard to find a good pasta meal. This neighborhood is an up-and-coming area but for now the Leonardo Boutique has it all to itself.

A delightful night away

I was very impressed with the hotel. The room was rather on the small side, but very comfortable, and beautifully furnished and well appointed. The only minor problems were (1) that the window wouldn't open (although they did send someone to open it, but when it got cold at night I had to close it, and it couldn't be re-opened), (2) the room got very hot, and the air-conditioning thermostat took a very long time to reduce the temperature, and (3) that the new style of mini bar (all enclosed and electronic) doesn't give any spare room to put anything into the fridge - e.g. fresh milk for tea or coffee.
The business lounge (open most of the day and evening) with complimentary tea, coffee, drinks and snacks is a very pleasant addition.
Although I didn't have time to use it, the fitness centre looked state-of-the-art.
The breakfast was excellent with a large variety and Chef station for eggs.
The lobby is attractive, and Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
There is no view (due to location), but HaBarzel street is chock-a-block with excellent restaurants and reasonably close to the central city of Tel Aviv.
The price is quite reasonable in view of high standard received.
Would definitely recommend.

Stayed 3 nights. Hotel handy for company I was visiting and was obviously a popular hotel because of its location. Clean, comfortable, and a number of \"afterwork\" restaurants and bars around the area. If there for a weekend or longer stay somewhere in the centre or beech may be better...but ideal for a few nights.

stayed at the hotel since it was close to the Yarkon Park, to see the Rolling Stones concert. Great restaurants all around. the room faced an side ally, but was comfortable and very clean. Good breakfast. The parking is a bit tricky, as you have to leave it by 0700 and move to a city parking lot. I can never get over the fact that they dare to charge for internet in Israeli hotels, a real shame and sham.

I've stayed at this hotel once before and enjoyed it. The hotel itself and the staff are great. BUT the building site next door and the extremely noisy neighbours ruin it. I was kept awake through the first night, a delivery lorry unloaded at 02:00 the second night and I was woken at 05:30 each morning by the building works next door. All of this not helped by my single glazed bedroom windows.... a shame as everything else ticked the box.

Surprised by buffet

Lovely hotel in excellent location for marathon running the next day. Biggest surprise was an afternoon/evening buffet in the business lounge. Not a total meal, but was a delightful surprise and made our stay much easier and convenient. In addition, they set out a pre-run bananas, rolls, etc, for the runners the next morning at 4:30AM. Good staff and hotel, overall, attentive to its guests.

This is a reasonably priced hotel, but if you want anything more than the basics they will charge a fortune for them ($20 per person for breakfast, $20 per day for internet access). The room appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. There were a few basic amenities missing -- no tissues, no drain stopper in the sink, and for two people there were two bath towels but only one hand towel and no washcloths. The first night we thought it was just an oversight, but this was consistent through the 5 nights of our stay. On our departure they enrolled us in their loyalty program, but then told us that we couldn't get credit for our stay because we had booked through Expedia rather than directly through their website.

from 12-2 am building next door was making noise that could be heard in room...had to call down and get new room in middle of the night...the new room they gave wasnt any better..they ended up finding a suite available on top floor and finally i was able to get to sleep around 3am

be sure to ask for quiet side of building and high floors

when i asked for compensation, they offered a discount on next stay...i guess things in usa are different...

A great hotel. More than expected.

The hotel is very modern and clean. It has all the standard amenities plus an amazingly helpful and friendly staff. They looked for ways to exceed expectations and this deserves to be rewarded with future business. I convinced my local distributor to have all their guests stay at this property. The rooms were a bit small but big enough. Internet speed was great. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable.There are many excellent food choices within a one block walk. The top floor business lounge was a nice way to relax and socialize with visitors. The only downsides were: traffic in the area (may be a Tel Aviv thing), 24 hour construction projects nearby got a bit noisy and, there is a pulbic ironing room rather than irons in your room (this seems typical of this country). I look forward to staying here again.

The finishes, use of materials, fixtures, all very contemporary and well designed. All the chrome bathroom fixtures were dirty, shower curtain soiled, white baseboard soiled & a cockroach in the bathroom. The elevator's glass filthy and the entrance needs to be steam cleaned. Location great if you are going to visit someone in Hospital across the street. They need to train housekeeping on how to clean hotel rooms and the common areas. Staff at front desk very nice but hope I don't need to stay there again.

No hot water in room. They say that they have this problem sometimes. (But did not check) At midnight, on the second day got a key to another room to take a shower). Got a can of CocaCola as a compensation. Parking costs 70 shekels for a night; a bit pricey, especially that parking was said to be free on site.

Love it. But...

It's a great hotel.
The hotel is well designed, very clean, nice room, great shower!!!
But:
1. I can't stand the deodorant smell at the loby!!! To much deodorant!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. The service was OK and not a WOW service

A good and well designd hotel. very clean and good breakfast. we didn't like the deodorant smell in the lobi, it was awful to stand in and near the lobby.

Very costly for what we get!!!

I stayed at this hotel for two days for my visit to Jerusalem and dead sea. While the hotel cleanliness was good and the staff was friendly there are few things which you would expect for free for the rent we are paying. For example bottled water was not complimentary and I had to pay for it. There was no free internet even in the lobby. There was only buffet availble on friday and I had to pay full price for it. Otherwise the stay was pleasant. The hotel is in a location where there are shopping places around. Hope this information is helpful.
