A nice hotel when it is not overcrowded

A nice hotel with a nice setting but in the last week of August it is overcrowded. This is noticeable a breakfast and poolside. Some families with little ones don't clean up the messes they leave on the floor!!! As table cleaners are not responsible for cleaning floor this was a hazard waiting to happen. Spaces around the pool were very difficult to find but if it were not crowded it would be great.
The terrace provided an oasis of peace. When the beaches are finished it will become a nice area

Terrible Service, Long Lines everywhere, over sold, over 2 hours to check in then another 2 hours to get the room. Door on my room was broken and nobody fixed it the entire stay. Bugs all over the room and not cleaned adequately. They kept putting 2 towels even though the room was booked for 4. Breakfast room was a disaster with overcrowding and long lines just to get in. Subpar food.

It started ok and got worse. We were not allowed in the pool without floaties although the kid can swim. We asked for towels 4 times at got them only at 7pm. The service is bad and we had to wait in line so long. The elevators were broken and took hours to move around. And the pool is very crowded and only in the sun so it was not pleasent to be there. And in the kids pool there is grown kids playing which makes it hard for the younger ones to enjoy. Was disappointed

It was a beautiful hotel and I attended a beautiful event there as well. The bakery just outside the hotel had salads and of course bakery goods, and was scrumptious! The views from the hotel were outstanding and I felt very safe there. I had a in room safe, and a do not disturb light on my door. The bed was comfy. The balcony in my room was sturdy and I got to sit outside and watch the waves and traffic go by. Netanya is a darling town and I loved the area of the hotel. There are biking trails along the water and a few shady shelter spots. It’s very hot there and you must stay hydrated.

had a little trouble checking in because Expedia somehow had me booked in 2 rooms. However, I need to work that out with them. The door to my room was messed up and I had to slam it to close it, also the inner lock didn’t work. The house phone in my room worked sporadically and to get anything from house keeping I had to dial the operator, as housekeeping never picked up. My room was not the cleanest when I checked in. There was dust and my bathroom facet looked like it hadn’t been wiped, but I travel with Clorox wipes, so it was all good. They didn’t provide bottled water in my premium upgrade.

Our go to spot when we come to visit the fam.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Vert Lagoon Netanya. This is our second time staying when visiting Israel and it will surely not be our last. Easily one of the best hotels in Netanya. It's clean, accommodating, and always a wonderful experience.

I must say that Ilana at the front desk, really went above and beyond for us. From finding a replacement mattress for the pull-out when the hotel was fully full to moving us to a quiet room for those of us who are challenged to sleep next to more vivacious Israeli family volumes. Ilana, thank you thank you, thank you.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Since our visit 2 years ago, we can tell that some of the hotel has been a little abused by the families fleeing from the North. It only makes me fonder of the hotel for supporting their people in need during a trying time. Nonetheless, it is the cleanest and best hotel I have been to in Israel (out of quite a few). I hope as repairs continue, they are done with the meticulous eye of the original architecture/ construction. I know sometimes repairs in Israel are sloppy compared to the original and newness is blamed. Our favourite moments this trip were eating catered watermelon with the kids by the pool.

I’m sure this hotel used to be great , the overall design and quality of furniture etc is good. But right now it definitely requires renovation, a lot of surfaces are chipped , cracked or molded. The common areas need cleaning. The view on the sea is spectacular, but the windows are dirty.

I don’t know how exactly is this hotel rated 5 stars …
First of all , the staff is absolutely NOT friendly.
Not trying to help you , making you feel like they’re doing you a favor for even hosting you.

We had two rooms , one of them is the higher category suite .

Was there for a wedding (my sister was the bride)

We asked for hot water with honey , they charged us money for it !
We asked to have a late check out , they wouldn’t even try to do it , 11:00 they already at your door to get you out (claiming the room is reserved)
I then called and tried to reserve the same suite for that night and they said it was available , so they lied .

No hairdrier in the room. Had to ask (5stars??)
No concierge service. (5 stars?)
No bell boy and luggage assistant ( 5 stars??)
No laundry service or ironing in the hotel ( 5 stars ????)
No glasses in the room, no bottled water in the room , snacks , nothing !
What kind of a 5 stars hotel is it ?!?

Not worth the price , not worth your time .

Will def not going to be back there . Ever.

This was obviously a big impressive hotel at some point but it is well past that now. The elevators, carpets, doors, showers, and towels are all old and banged up and falling apart. The Cleo tel is not taking it easy on the facilities - you can see the abuse all’s round you. Thread bare towels, crumbling doors and fixtures, dirty common areas - are all around.

The stuff is lovely, the breakfast buffet (I did not have it but walked by it three morning in a row) and the location are all great to give credit where credit is due.

On the morning I checked out two cockroaches made an appearance in my washroom and one more visited the bedroom as if to make sure I never come back.

Time for a full renovation.

Staff could be better in service and in speaking to guests we requested tissues and after calling 3 times and waiting 1 full day we finally received them. Staff did not know answers to general questions nor did they take the time to ask others. When asked to speak to a mgr when our telephone was not fixed after complaint I was told he is busy and couldn’t talk to me. In the Dinning room for breakfast Most of the items were emptied and speaking to a mgr , he agreed with me only after he checked it out. Why wasn’t he on top of it by himself, The hotel needs someone to work on making it a maybe 4 star hotel.

The stay was very pleasant. The buffet breakfast which is included, was very elaborate and far exceeded our expectations. The outdoor pool is absolutely magnificent. It is a very very large pool (perhaps larger than Olympic size pool) and it is an infinity pool overlooking the sea!!! Absolutely stunning!!!

The food and staff are excellent but the hotel bedrooms are very tired and need an overhaul.

I have stayed quite a few times in the past and no work had been done on the bedrooms at all.

I upgraded to a premium room but it was bad. See pictures. I would put the bedrooms as a 2 star unfortunately.

The pictures say it all.

A real pity as the staff are great and the food is unbelievable.

For example there were 2 x usb sockets in the bedroom. None worked. I asked for maintenance to look at them, two maintenance workers came, could not speak a word of English but managed to say \"no work\" I find this very odd as ALL hotels nowadays have USB sockets.

The wooden sideboard in the bedroom was terribly chipped in lots of places. The door below the coffee machine was dirty with dripped coffee from previous guest!

The bathroom walls, just extremely dirty and very tired.

See pictures of toilet brush, the toilet flusher. Disgusting.

Simply not for a 5 star hotel. Sadly a 2 star for the bedrooms.

Great Hotel and amazing service!

We celebrated our son's wedding at 'Jonah', the beautiful venue in the hotel, and booked several rooms for 2 nights for the family and close friends. It was the best decision ever! we had a great time, the service was amazing in all departments, and everything made possible starting with Fabrice Izzak & Iliya from the Check-in, who made us feel like we are the only guests in the hotel, and even canceled one room with no charge when we realized we book one too many. Everyone works with a smile and a very high standard of service. the rooms are great, with a beautiful sea view for beautiful sunsets, and the breakfast buffet is very rich and very good. We had dinner at Bar Italia, just downstairs (not part of the hotel, but in the same building ) and it was amazing, there are 2 more excellent restaurants right there. The wedding was phenomenal and we had a great experience. Thank you!!

They should have informed the clients about serving passover food days before the holiday actually begins.

It’s overrated and overpriced for what it is offered.
Minimal amenities in the room, cheaper hotels are offering water in the room.
Furthermore, the forgot to clean my room.
If you have a red indiicator at the time the cleaning staff cleans the floor, they will not come back and see if it changed, even if it was red for a minute.

The place lacks any soul staff on there phones never a Smile or a greeting just a bark if they need to tell you some thing rooms are not cleaned professionally Friday night was a disaster 0 organisation after charging 280shekel per adult the line in was chaos people pushing was dangerous for my kids I lost my cool and instead of the manager Tony taking control and realising every one is just pushing in some even pretending to be part of the Kadosh fam just to be allowed she started screaming at me to leave and my kids will not eat in end security came saw that the manager is nuts he let me in the security guard the building is beautiful and quiet new but it’s terribly run by unhappy looking staff its expensive and no service over charge and under deliver I would avoid at all cost we work hard all year to come on holiday and relax this place only stresses you out

The hotel itself is beautiful but is really not clean. I checked into my room and found a bandaid on the wall of my bathroom and a cup with a drink and cigarate butts in it on my balcony. Staff was rude and no one answers the phone. I tried calling a few days prior to arriving but to no avail.Then after checking out, i tried calling to see if i had left my earpods in the safe , but there was no one to talk to.

This is a nice hotel in a good location about 30 minutes walk along the seafront promenade to the centre of Netanya.

The room was a good size with a balcony providing a proper coastal and sea view.

The good sized pool was refreshing. There was plenty of seating available. There is a poolside outdoor restaurant serving drinks, snacks and large-portion sized burgers, chips etc.

Excellent breakfast with a huge variety of very tasty options.

Only criticism was that the reception staff weren't particularly helpful and more focussed on their mobile phones than guests.

That said, would definitely stay there again.

The internet experience was beyond disappointing. The signal strength in the room was very low. The bandwidth was very poor and the connection kept dropping and had to be refreshed regularly. That was extremely frustrating.

I was very surprised that there were no international/US plug points in the room and there were no adapters available at the front desk.

Plus side: Very comfortable room, with a beautiful view!!
Minuses: shockingly long check in wait, then another really shocking wait to enter the dinner. The hotel was simply hosting more people than they can handle! The wait was due to no free tables available, despite arriving at the hour we were told was the quietest one.
The staff were not helpful... they were clearly overwhelmed with work.

An important note: many stairs from the street level to beach access.

Good, but not perfect.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel when we got married a couple of years back, and now that my wife is pregnant we wanted to have a little staycation before our 'new life' begins.
The hotel did not disappoint and the facilities were just as good as the last time we stayed there. The only two things I would wish to improve were the speed of the staff during check-in. It took way too long and was very disorganized. Guests were beginning to argue and that's not a great start to a vacation.
The second thing is the reception's availability during the night. The guests in one of the rooms near ours probably got back from a party at around 5am and started their own afterparty with loud music and smoking. I tried calling the reception but nobody picked up for almost half an hour. When they finally did pick up they dealt with the noise immediately, but it was not a good experience at all.
Otherwise - the breakfast is amazing and everything was perfect!

Vert Lagoon exceeded our expectations

Vert Lagoon exceeded our expectations, amazing view from bedroom and from wide balcony, infinity pool is 30 metres long, we enjoyed early morning swims, hotel is right on the new beachfront. Breakfasts are plentiful, required space between tables (for Covid rules) only things missing were homemade jams, more cake selection. There are 2 restaurants connected to the hotel plus a very nice coffee house. Staff well trained.

We booked for Saturday night. We got there at 4.30pm and were told that our room was not ready and would not be ready until after 8.30pm but that we could check in and use the pool. I asked what time the pool closes and was informed that it closes as 6pm. I asked what we could do for the 2.5 hrs while we were wet and our room was not ready and was given a shrug and a disinterested look. Considering how much we were paying I found this unacceptable and asked to cancel our booking, which they did without issue.

This hotel was horrible the bathroom had hairs all over the bath tub! I caught my one year old with a popcorn seed in her mouth… and if your afraid of corona virus deffinetly don’t stay here because no one here Inforces the mask mandate!

It was a great and comfortable stay, love the view, breakfast was delicious, and the pool was lots of fun. Great time to relax in the sun and beautiful ocean view.
The sushi place next door was fantastic a must go to place while in the area.

I’m sorry but it’s not clean and specially know with this COVID. Every I complain about cleaning the room . I’m putting in in face book that it’s not cl an answer all . People are nice .
