This property where I stay: Shower head crashes. Swich for turning ON/OFF light outside toilet which cover come out. There's no face towels. Not a good location. There's no dinning shops nearby. Customer's Service is not good enough. Hotel's restaurant always full-housed for breakfast due to There's no other shops or restaurants to eat.

Aston Batam has an amazing array of staff who attended promptly to all our requests. We stayed in a 3-bedroom residence apartment. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. There was an air conditioner in each room, and they provided a large 20L water cooler. The swimming pool was large enough to swim laps, which we did every morning. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. All Grab drivers were familiar with the hotel's location. We had a fantastic time in Batam, and Aston contributed to our enjoyable stay.
There were two minor issues with our apartment; the room and bathroom door locks did not lock seamlessly and the certain had a tear. As stated, these were minor.

The stay was okay, acceptable. Book a junior one bedroom apartment. The apartment was run down, dull and not that clean. What i suggest to the hotel, is that do a repaint to the wall. Change the sofa, as its all so old, prepare a garbage bag for customer to use.put more deco to the apartment so that it wont be dull anymore

Room is alright. There is an international electrical outlet for your plugs. No usb outlet. Buffet's good. I love the herbal bar. Gym's good, big, though rowing machine spoilt.

I came for their tub. Though they fixed it the hot water came out like piss at first. Made me not wanna use the tub anymore.

We stayed in this hotel a few times but this is the first time for junior suite which happened to be in the apartment side. The cleanliness and maintenance of room is not up to standard. The plates and cutleries are dirty and no dishwashing liquid provided. The fridge doesn't get cold. There is no hand towel and bathrobes. I had to call 2x to get it. The design of the bathroom is bad. There is no division between the lavatory and the shower. I'm always worried the water will get to the hairdryer. The drain is very slow when you shower so there's water everywhere. The wifi password indicated in the room card they provide you during check-in is not correct.
Staff in the reception area are friendly, no issues there. The check-in/out is fast.

Greeted with a smile from the frontliners. From security to reception very welcoming. Well done. During checking in process, i was told that their system was having some issues and im told to wait. 45 minutes later my wife check with the reception staff and finally we are able to check in and straight to our room. Cleanliness was good. Im impressed with the wifi connection. Breakfast was not bad but was not good either. Was at the dining hall around 6.10am but some of the live food station was not in operation. Food choices is okay but there are still many room for improvement. This is my first time here and i hope it can be better next time . Overall its a pleasant stay. I hope i can see some improvements if i return for another stay. Keep it up.

Management must seriously look at the front office behaviour, my bed sheets were dirty and I request for a change of bed sheets the next day, it was through my shock that the front office staff said that I had to pay RP50,000?

why would you charge clients for washing of the bed sheets when it is not the clients issue?

I stayed many times and cannot believe that this is how aston treats their long term customers, becareful of front office staff trying to scam hotel guest

I recently stayed at Aston Pelita Batam for one night, from 25th to 26th May 2024. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, especially due to an unsettling incident and the unhelpful attitude of the night front desk staff.

On the night of 25th May, we experienced a bizarre episode in our room, number 804. Around 11 PM, the kettle in our room inexplicably boiled by itself three times. This eerie occurrence made us feel extremely uneasy, prompting us to leave the room immediately.

Seeking assistance, we approached the night front desk staff, hoping for a swift resolution to our predicament. Despite my crying for help and requesting to change rooms, the staff insisted that all rooms were fully booked and offered no solution or remedy. Due to the lack of support, we ended up bunking with our friends in room 830 for the remainder of the night.

To add to the frustration, when I called the front desk in a panic to request extra towels to be sent to our friends' room (since we left abruptly without even taking a shower), the staff hung up on me. This lack of empathy and support was incredibly disappointing.

This incident significantly marred our stay. While the hotel may have other redeeming qualities, the unsettling experience in room 804 and the unhelpful response from the night staff

Wet floor in the bathroom which is very dangerous slippery to use the toilet as it is no partion to seperate. Using hair dryer stick on the wall with wet slippery floor in the bathroom it is very dangerous. Staff at the house keeping Using malay language to scold us stuip to come here for whay. How rude it is and they think we dont understand malay? Unsafe and dangerous with this hotel which i will never ever stay.

My family and I booked the 3BR apartment for a 3D2N stay at this hotel. The apartment was huge and overall comfortable but there was a few points to bring up for this stay:

1. Due to booking from Expedia, we weren't notified that we could communicate with the hotel using whatsapp. Hotel did not respond to message on expedia with regards to possible arrangements for pick up at ferry terminal.

2. Wanted to dine in at Gravity 10 for dinner on 22 Mar but was informed by Gym staff that bar would only open at 8pm. The bar was supposed to open from 6pm and we were left with no options but to dine out for my brother's birthday.

3. Checked on pool options with the front desk but was informed that the pool was for residents only. Would be good to clearly indicate this on all your 3rd party booking apps to avoid disappointment for your guests.

4. We went for massage on the last day of stay to find staffs busy on their phones. While the counter staff did attend to us, she did not mention that there was a waiting time as there were no staff available yet.(it was 11am) my mum and i waited close to 10mins with our clothes off to find out that they were waiting for 1 other masseuse to come in to start. No disposable underwear was offered to us until we requested for it. The massage service ended with no tea/hot towel. While leaving, we saw multiple masseuses lying down on the floor of their staff room on using their phones.

5. TV options were limited and some channels had no signal.

The apartment-hotel was generally clean with very good service. Relatively accessible to the main shopping area. Breakfast was good. Staff was responsive - even asked if I wanted to make up my room in the afternoon when I left the DND sign.

However, do note that the hotel is right next to the road so the road noise is quite loud, even later at night.

Impressive hotel at adorable rates

Loved the place the moment I stepped into my room. The room was huge and the bath tub was a plus. Everything was just so clean and proper, like many of the 5 stars hotels that I’ve stayed in.

The gym was gorgeous too, equipped with all the state of the arts equipment. The only disappointment I had was that the spa is only massage rooms. Would have won even more brownies points if there’s jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

I’ll definitely stay here again in my future visits.

Had an enjoyable stay in ASTON. I requested for a cake for my hubby birthday and it was right in the room once we checked in. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Bathtub also clean and big. Location was beside the road so sometimes can hear a bit of the traffic but it was acceptable for us. About 10mins drive away from Grand Batam Mall so very convenient. Hotel breakfast was superb also, rarely see such a spread for hotel breakfast. Taste was good as well. Overall, highly recommended this hotel and we will go back stay the next time :)

Rooms are very clean and the atmosphere in the hotel compound is peaceful. Very suitable for people who are not into crowded areas with loud music nearby.

Morning breakfast also has a wide range of selection and the restaurant is well maintained.

The staff in the hotel are helpful and provides great services even after we checked out and made some additional requests to utilize the hotel amenities.

Apartment looked decent enough but the details reveal a place that’s not terribly well-designed and not that comfortable, especially for longer stays. Sockets were in weird locations, finishing and fixtures were flimsy, bathroom layout was not ideal (toilet was IN the shower), and there was a really foul sewage smell that permeated the common bathroom for a few hours a day. The smallest bedroom was very bare and could have done with at least a small table or hooks behind the door. Ordered room service and it was pretty bad. Service was good though. Given the price, would not book it again should I return to Batam.

I love the room, it's superb spacious, clean, comfy.. but not much TV programme available. Toilet and bathtub spacious enough for a big size body. On top of that their special arrangements to welcome me for my bday vacation was fabulous., Decorated the room well and lots of roses petals. I'm in love with it. My concern was the swimming pool should be more private, wasn't able to swim though as the pool was near restaurant and lobby.

For breakfast spread, it's too much of local cuisine. Try to make it an Asian cuisine or international cuisine for the guests there.

This is our 4th stay in Aston. We love the cleanliness of the room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The only set back for us is the the hotel is a little to far to walk and too short a trip for a cab to Nagoya Hill Mall. Although the hotel do provide free shuttle, the timing are limited. It will be good to increase the number of trip for the free shuttles. Oh and the new shuttle service to the ferry terminal at an affordable price is brilliant!

Staff were friendly, and the pictures of the rooms that the hotel posts are true. The gym facilities are well-maintained, the breakfast buffet had a good spread. The only downside is that the swimming pool is a little small. I'll definitely return to this hotel the next time I visit Batam!

The chiller in the room is not cold at all. I was asked to sign an agreement to not have strong smelling food / smoking smell in the non-smoking room or will be fined SGD200 which I think it's too much. You do provide in-room dining services so strong smelling food is not within our control. Breakfast has a very good spread of choices. Room is really clean with plenty of TV channels.

Our first stay at Aston hotel Batam and we really enjoyed our stay. The service is excellent! From reception to valet. There is a staff even recommend us great home made Kueh Lapis which tasted so delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely order from him again! Another thing we love is the bed that is so comfortable! The hotel offer shutter bus to Nagoya hill mall, BCS and grand batam too at selected timings. Perhaps one of the down side is far walking distance to shopping malls, their nearest shopping mall is nagoya hill but at least 15 mins walk, have to take taxi. Overall great stay :)

My only complaint is the chiller in the room was not cold and fill with Aston own snacks.
Breakfast has alot of choice and the menu changes. Room is really clean and spacious(family room). Plenty of TV channels.
You will be asked to sign an agreement to not have strong smelling food in the room or else fine roughly sgd200, I believe for a non-smoking room. And to scan all the occupants' passport during check in.

Only a slight hiccup during checking in, as we were made more than an hour for our rooms, and found out that the staff has forgotten about our another room.

Fabulous room, but lousy breakfast

Everything is good in the hotel - spacious, clean, comfortable. The only problem is the breakfast, really very very very bad / tasteless for savoury food; and lousy desserts
