I was request for non smoking room. But when i check in i was given by the staff smoking room. Even i was informed cant be changes. The room was smell terrible and in the future i dont think ill choose ibis. Im solo traveller doesnt meant i can be treated like that.

The hotel staff were attentive and friendly. However, the room was only average, there are stains/ residues left on the toilet wall (where the hair dryer was), and also on the mirror partition facing the room. The towels are very worn, the bed creaks, and you can hear almost everything that's happening outside your room and even above you - people talking loudly, closing of doors, dragging, stomping sounds from the room above.

We are given connecting room but both have queen bed despite booking 1 room with queen bed and 1 room with twin bed.
Almost all power socket unable to use as cannot plug in properly. I called and they send adaptor.
Bfast is not so good, too salty and very few choices. But considered ok for the price.
No convenient store nearby.
Overall, still consider ok for the price I paid

There is no fridge only a chiller which is not cold or freezing enough so have to buy ice from the restaurant. The remote control of the TV is not working need to manually change the channel.The room is spacious but showering area & toilet is separate and an open concept design with the pantry area. There is shuttle service to nearby shopping malls like batam grand center & nagoya hill. Overall the staffs are friendly but the hotel might need some upgrading. The hotel ambiance is nice & pleaseant too.

1. The refrigerator in the room remained non-functional even after it was reported.

2. Only one access card was provided, which was inconvenient when I needed to leave the room alone. Without an access card, it's impossible to access the floor unless someone else assists.

3. The breakfast spread was average. Some main dishes were overly salty, and the drinks were excessively sweet.

4. On Sunday, was the most crowded during breakfast. Despite the lack of available seating, hotel guests were not allowed to sit in the exterior areas of the restaurant. Several people, including us, had to wait for seats to become available.

That said, the hotel staff were friendly and did their best to make our stay enjoyable, which we truly appreciated.

The room was comfortable. Staff was polite and friendly as well. The hotel even provides shuttle service to Mall Nagoya Hill and Grand Mall Batam 3 times daily.

Overall reasonable stay for the value paid

The staffs are not flexible in some areas of service and not check the status of the Accor member and offer benefits for ALL members.
Also they do not have strong command of English so can have miscommunications quite often.
Service staffs were also not eagerly rushing and took about 20min to pour orange juice into takeaway cups.

The property and facilities are good value for money and well maintained. During this stay there was an incident, where someone used the room while I was away and left the room with toilets messed up and the bed used. On reporting this the staff changed out the sheets and mentioned that a supervisor will get in touch in the morning. But there was no attempt from the management to try and understand what happened. On checking out the staff wasn’t aware that this happened and asked for all the details all over again. Still waiting for a formal response from the management.

Checking only 2 sets customer in front us 3-4 pm but take about 30mins+ , when went “ first room “ was ppl checked in the room already ( feel very bad ) , then gave us another room , room is big ( coz we booked suit ) but towel is smelly and asking for extra towel not available , bed sheet have stamp on it and fridge have coke left from last guest.

Very inflexible with late check out unless we pay 100k Rph.

Check out time reminder from housekeeping and reception half an hour before time.

I stayed here for 3 days 2 night. Staffs are super friendly and helpful.
I am abit disappointed by the swimming pool and also the cleanliness of the room. Towel, bedsheets which can see the dirt on it. Drinking Glass need to change as most of it have stains on it include breakfast place n room.
On our 1st morning we planned to swim in the pool and relax but unfortunately the swimming pool are so dirty and when we asked the receptionist they said that it is normal but other day we saw the swimming pool was clean at the same time.

The Pros.

Staffs is friendly and helpful
Breakfast buffet is good
Room is clean and tidy
Checked in was swift and well explained
Gym still ok.
Sky bar is good. Good food and alcohol.

The Cons.

The shower drainage abit poor.
Swimming pool different colour looks dirty, did not manage to swim.

Other than this all is good.
Feedback to staff about some faulty, they ask staffs to went up check.
After came back is fixed.
Good environment.
Will come to stay again.

Nice and pretty room and was big (mine was a suite).

Hotel provide free shuttle bus to Nagoya Hill Mall at certain intervals.

The down side was when the dinner took an UNBELIEVABLE LONG TIME to serve where there wasn’t much dinners in the cafe. The other table dinner just ordered a drink and us taking another table ordering 2 main course.

So room was great and cafe was lousy.

The location is not very convenient, there is nothing nearby however still acceptable as taxi is available and shuttle service also provided by hotel at certian timing. The buffet brakfast that is included is also consider good for the price you paid. We spend a lot of our time at the pool, the menu at the restaurant is a bit limited, maybe can consider adding some finger foods to the menu.

The room, bed, breakfast, pool, children playground, reception staffs were great! However, the cleanliness not so tip top. The staffs at the restaurant not so prompt & took so long to prepare my food. No amenities around the hotel, but you could easily go to nagoya Hill with Grab for 15mins.

The room was pretty fancy but under maintained. Sheets didn't look like it was changed- there were stains on the bolsters and sheets and smell a little funny. The bed and pillow was comfortable though. There was a chair and foot rest at the corner of the room which looked dirty and had noticeable stains which looked disgusting! None of us dared to sit there. The room layout was nice and the furniture and fixtures look amazing. The fridge was warm. Such a shame though it could have been a better experience.

I stayed with my husband for four days in the junior suite at Ibis. The room was spacious but the air conditioning unit was completely ineffective. Three hours with a closed door was still insufficient to cool the room. On top of that, the mini fridge was faulty and not chilled at all. Breakfast buffet was pathetically limited and not enough to tide anyone staying for four days. Iron and ironing board was only available upon request. So we requested one, did our ironing, left it in the room, chose the no housekeeping option, and left for the day. When we came back to our room, we discovered they had entered our room when we were away to remove the iron and board. I would like to add that housekeeping did not tell us we needed to return the items immediately upon usage. When we confronted the front desk, the first thing the lady asked was whether anything was missing. I find this disheartening. The point was never about whether anything was missing but of the fact that they entered our room in our absence and without our permission. We wholeheartedly lack confidence in the security of this hotel and urge anyone thinking of this hotel to reconsider.
