We had a lovely stay at the Novotel Colmar. The service was amazing, even going out of their way to make dinner reservations for our large group. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and clean. The amenities were beyond what we expected (our teenager was particularly excited about the bathrobe and slippers). The breakfast was excellent and at a reasonable price. It was truly a wonderful stay.

Above all, extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Property within walking distance to the train station and the old town. Excellent breakfast with caring and attentive staff. Water station provides free water, flat or with gas, to meet the needs of active clients.
Our suite was clean and neat with a lovely shower. The bed was comfortable but best suited for those who prefer a soft, as opposed to, a firm mattress.
Nice private terrace available on sunny days and lovely ready to eat meals when you just feel like staying in.

Good location. Quiet rooms. Every day our key cards stopped working and we had to go back to the desk to have them re-initialized. We did not realize we needed to reserve parking with them in advance, and on arrival learned their garage was full. So we had to find on street parking each time we drove somewhere. That was a bit cheaper but a bit of a hassle.

I like the unique layout of the room. Wasn't able to enjoy the spa amenities because it was fully booked. I paid for breakfast for my whole stay and it was buffet style from 6-10 we went to enjoy breakfast and my daughter forgot that she wanted an apple. She went back down to grab one sense it was still breakfast hours and was told she could not. The wifi was very spotty. Outside of that. The beds were soft, they had multiple wall outlets and usb outlets. The shower pressure was amazing. For the most part the staff were friendly and kind. The hotel is in a great location just a 7-12min walk to nearby shops, and beautiful picturesque views.

Great place to stay for Christmas markets

Stayed here to visit the Christmas Markets. It wasn't our first choice but was very surprised by how nice and convenient it was and felt fortunate my first choice wasn't available.. We saw people dragging their luggage to hotels in the middle of the markets frustrated because the roads are blocked off to traffic and nearby parking was full. Parking at this hotel was extremely convenient and reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The property is new and a great option if you are in Colmar. My only negative experience was with staff ordering ‘taxis’. On 2 occasions the taxis arrived and were clearly just local people with a car. No issue with that concept - except their charges were exorbitant…. Double or more than what we paid to a labeled taxi. Uber and Bolt are extremely rare, so taxi the only viable option. My advice - order your own and don’t ask for the front desk assistance.

We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this hotel. Great location, best bakery in town right around the corner, and staff who go the extra mile. Novotel colmar was amazing. Location is 5 min walk to little venice. we stayed at the superior queen room by winter time and pleased by the Christmas decorations at the hotel. Great breakfast with many options. Comfortable clean and quiet room (even though our room was in front of the elevator) with coffee/tea, hair dryer and more. Friendly stuff. Thank you!

Ok hotel, nice location but a bit dated

The room is nice but the carpet was dirty, I'm sure they cleaned it but there were some major discoloration. In addition, the sink is very shallow, making hand washing rather difficult.

This was the best Novotel hotel
I stayed in so far. The room was large: managed to host 2 Adults, a teenager and a 11 year old in the sofa double bed that was made up for us before we came and the queen bed in the room. Came with a. Fridge and a microwave oven, a coffee maker and kettle. The WC room had its own sink. There was a another sink in the room.

Came with a separate bathe and no another standing shower.

Breakfast was great with a nice spread.

Good and near the centre

Excellent hotel, located very close to the center. We got a spacious suite with a great bathroom, separate toilet. The breakfast is rich and varied and the hotel staff is courteous and professional.
Just one comment - exiting the parking lot is very problematic, on a very steep and narrow road.

Nice big comfortable rooms, staff less than helpful, which was surprising for a Novotel and for the price.
While close to town, the area around the hotel seemed a bit sketch.
Know going in that that they don’t have a restaurant, which depending on when you go means it could be difficult to eat dinner so make sure to book reservations to avoid seeing “full” signs in restaurant windows.

Location 3 minutes from center, comfort bed, friendly staff, breakfast very good (although I would add more salad..) , great Patisserie down the hotel as alternative for breakfast, the shower sream was not strong this would be a good opportunity for improvement 🙂, but overall very satisfied.

For £100/per night for a 4 person room, I thought this was outstanding quality. The hotel is modern, clean with lots of amenities - room had a sink/tap, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, safe and a huge smart tv that we could stream the kids movies to.

Staff were great, location is excellent, secure parking on site, very happy.

Absolut top, freundlich und sauber!

Bei diesem Hotel gibt es für das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut gar nichts zu beanstanden, ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen. Unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Rezeption, Hotel und Zimmer top sauber und gepflegt. Frühstück ebenfalls sehr gut, tolle Auswahl und Qualität. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch perfekt, ganz nahe von Altstadt und Geschäften.
Klar, wer Charme und Ambiente sucht, ist bei Novotels vielleicht nicht restlos glücklich - es ist eher modern und etwas unpersönlich eingerichtet (z.B. die Bar im Eingangsbereich), aber je nach Reiseart spielt das keine Rolle. Für mich sind v.a. Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit und bequeme Betten wichtig - möchte ich einen Romantikurlaub genießen, dann buche ich auch nicht Novotel. Danke dem gesamten Team in Colmar für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Pleasant stay at Novotel Colmar

The hotel is very well located with walking distance to town, quiet area & easy to access by car. The room is quite big & comfortable. They have small gym room & sauna as well. Breakfast has many choices. Overall are good. I recommend this hotel for Colmar trip!!

Very modern and clean rooms. Shower was large and luxurious. The room had nice amenities like microwave, mini fridge, tea kettle and espresso coffee maker. The room also had a nice sitting area with a sofa that could be turned into a double bed. I will highly recommend staying here. Location is a few minutes walk from Colmar Old Town and easy to get to if you arrive by car.

On the edge of town.

Location was average. We liked to walk to the old town. Others may not. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean. Large rooms. Had a very cold refrigerator. Microwave. Great shower. We enjoyed our stay.

Family hop

Great location, a short walk from the historical centre. The rooms are spacious and clean, very functional. Would be nice to have more than one towel hook in the bathroom in a room booked for 3 people though, and a proper bedside cabinet which fits a book. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
