Only one receptionist was kind. The rest were rude and kinda hostile. They made outrageous charges to my room that weren’t even mine and they kept claiming that were mine. They later on apologized because they added someone else’s charges on my room. They still over charged me with a bunch of fees and charges that I didn’t make anyway. The cleaning staff were great, really nice. The restaurant / breakfast staff were great! They were really nice! The hotel doesn’t really have anything to do in there. The water charges were double of the what they were in the vending machine. They charge you $8 a day just for staying there, as an extra charge. The food was pretty bland, and not a big variety. The website says that they have a store inside and a guest laundry room area, that’s a complete lie. They don’t have anything. The hotel does look really nice on the outside and inside. The rooms were okay. The beds were kinda small, my toddler ended up falling off the bed twice.

Terrible stay in Italy

THe Hotel is in a Remote area near motorway and description on booking site confirms that they provide Shuttle service to Train station. However, When we inquired about that, we were adivsed they charge 5 euro per person. We were group of nine.They said they can't do shuttle service for nine people and suggested to take the bus & Train. We try to find the bus stop and it's by Motor way with narrow lane to stay. We went and checked and realised that with the children, we couldn't take risk as the vehicle were travelling at high speed passing and horning on us. We then inquired about using taxi. They said each trip will cost us £120. In addition we had to pay the train fare. Each day, we had to pay 400euro on transport. Also there are not many food places.We were very unhappy with stay and vacated next morning. Requested for refund and no response fromHotels.com yet. Had an email from SHG hotel advising to contact Hotels.com. Still wating for an update.

The property was very old. The air-conditioning is controlled by the front desk, it’s a scam, it looks luxurious at first with the fountain and all and nice AC in the reception area but once you get settled in your room, I’d say about 6 PM. They turned the AC to 26 to 28°C, which is extremely hot and uncomfortable and it stays that way until check in time for the next day. The purpose of it is to fool the person who are checking into think they score at a great hotel when it’s actually trash. The person at the reception might swell up being honest and just tell me that the AC is controlled at a certain temperature and it’s not allowed to be controlled by the customers. Highly not recommended!!!!!!!!

Great Staff, Cleaning could be better

The hotel is good. It is close to Rome. The cleaning could be a little better. When we arrived, our bathroom had a lot of hair in both the sink and the bathtub. The staff are great. The restaurant manager at breakfast, Ricardo, was incredible! He was extremely attentive and even gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant in Rome that I can say was one of the best.

I would never stay this hotel again. The room had no air conditioning and my family was sweating the entire night The hotel staff was very rude and did nothing to help. We had a two night reservation and left after the first night. I am still waiting on my refund. I will soon dispute my credit card. This hotel is also not clean. Avoid there are many other options.

They said it was hot outside so just wait. The lobby was way cooler than our room. Our room never got real cool, ling hot night, not much sleep.

Overall this stay was pleasant. I will say that I am still trying to get the hold removed from my credit card as they put a temp hold to cover extra's, which is fine as most hotels do that. My problem started when I checked out and they tried to charge me for the whole stay (had already paid for the hotel room through Orbitz as part of a package deal). They then insisted I pay the $296.50 for the restaurant and local taxes instead of taking it out of the $500 hold they had already put on my card. Not very helpful. We used the shuttle back and forth to the train station for three days and I will say the driving was less than desirable and instead of picking us up at the time we gave them, we found ourselves waiting an hour everyday to be picked up, so I would not recommend using the shuttle. The staff however was very nice and attentive and the rooms were clean. Next time however I will be staying in downtown rome as the distance made travel time consuming.

Not for Americans who want to see Rome

There is nothing wrong with the SHG Hotel Antonella itself. But if you are an American who wants to see Rome this is not the place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms up to standards and the restaurant food was fine. But the hotel is a long way from Rome in an industrial area - there aren't even any sidewalks to take a walk. Getting to Rome involves a hotel shuttle, a train, and then another train or bus - 90 minutes each way or more. If you are an American tourist wanting to see Rome, this is not the place stay - book a centrally located hotel in the city.

Can get uber from airport but not the other way since this is in a village but a taxi can be arranged for. Amsterdam sight seeing places are another 30 minutes from the airport so its an hr journey daily each way.

Well it was ok, but there were some annoying issues for me e.g. Shower did not work well, Mini bar poorly stocked and did not work so drinks were warm, air-con did not work and not a great menu for evening dinner. Breakfast on the contrary was excellent as was the service.

The hotel was nice and clean. Some of the staff was helpful. I was disappointed with the location of the hotel. In the preview it claimed to be located within 15 miles from the airport, which was not so. In the hotel's advertisement, it stated complimentary shuttle service was provided by the hotel. My family and I had to spend extra cash to get from the airport to the hotel and again from the hotel to the airport because there was no shuttle services provided by the hotel.

There must be better hotels in the area...

First, they didn't have the reservation correct at check in which only made the woman at the desk angry at us! The hotel is fairly primitive in that they take bookings electronically but then convert everything to a paper system which obviously is prone to errors. The hotel is still using a dot matrix printer to print out your bill!! I thought those were all in land fills. Not a very good experience. Look elsewhere.

We chose Hotel Antonella based on other reviews and its proximity to Fiumicino Airport as we were flying back home the next day. It took about 35-40 minutes to reach the airport with no traffic.
It’s a nice hotel with a large, luxurious lobby. The room was fine, although we found the bed a little small compared to other double beds at other hotels. We had a large modern bathroom which was nice.
Breakfast was subpar as the scrambled eggs had a very strange taste (didn’t seem like they were made with real eggs,) and they served hotdogs as sausage which was bizarre and very disappointing as Italian sausages would have been a far better choice. The rest of the breakfast was fine with the usual breakfast cereals and Italian sweets. The service throughout our stay was very good from the reception at check-in to the servers at breakfast. The hotel grounds were very nice to walk around and parking was free. The hotel is in an industrial area so there's not much to see or do in the vicinity.

After over a decade of using hotels.com, I had 2 disappointments in a row. I searched for hotel near FCO with airport transfers. The \"special\" at the top was this hotel. Turned out to be an $80 taxi ride from train, $110 back to airport. Not even in Rome. Front desk said ad was misrepresentation, they never had transfers. Hotel has nothing around it. Odd menu. Room was nice though.

Perfect for Pomezia

Stayed at this hotel for a two day businesses trip in Pomezia. Only 20 minutes from the airport and just off the main road.

The trees and bushes hide the fact that you're in quite an industrial area.

The staff were great, very attentive at mealtime. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was a good size and very clean.

Very difficult to find, but once you get there...

Driving in towns in Italy is stressful in any event, but after 16 hours travel time, stressful. We decided to stay in Pomezia as it was reasonably close to the airport in Rome, but not in Rome. The drive to Pomezia was uneventful, but once we got to the town we had a terrible time finding the hotel. However, after we found the hotel, we were quite pleased - it is clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. We had a light dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was very good as was breakfast the next morning.

Not a Good Choice for a Young Family

We chose this hotel because it was convenient to the airport and we were leaving the following day.

When we arrived they had changed us to a room with one king bed and a single bed, instead of two doubles and charged us extra for the small bed. I asked to see the room with two doubles and the beds were smaller than what a double is by North American standards so we grudgingly chose the king room.

The hotel staff was very nice and the breakfast was lovely and the waitresses doted on the kids. The only dark spot there was an extremeley rude bartender who opened my wine for me and handed me collins glasses.

If we had chosen this hotel for more than one day we would have been far more disappointed because it really isn't a child friendly hotel. Perfect for business or solo traveler and perfect for access to the airport but I wouldn't have wanted more than the one night there.

Great clean hotel - superb staff

This was a very nice hotel - the rooms were extremely clean and the staff were all very polite.

Having a car is essential though - it is near the main road (although when you are in the hotel you do not notice) so is easy to drive north 15 minutes to get to Rome. We drove to an outer subway station and got the metro into Rome city centre.

The only negative I would say is that the Expedia listing boasts of 4 restaurants when infact there is just 1 along with a bar.

Wir waren als Familien in der Nebensaison dort. Es war sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Badezimmer ebenso. Ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wirkt dadurch aber nicht runtergekommen. Wunderschöne Lobby mit Brunnen und sehr gepflegte und saubere Anlage.
Frühstück passend für Italien überwiegend Süßes zum Frühstück, Kaffee war OK, Wurst und Käse sehr überschaubar. Brot war Mangelware.
Alles in allem jedoch für einen Kurzurlaub (so wie bei uns) empfehlenswert.

Tutto molto bene a parte l'aria condizionata al primo piano che era un po' deboluccia, per avere 25 gradi in camera occorreva spegnere l' AC nei corridoi. Per il resto letti comodi, bagno grande e spazioso, colazione piacevole con personale molto premuroso in sala.

C'era anche il camioncino dei gelati nella Hall ma non era ancora stato attivato, davvero molto carino.

La palestra ha buoni attrezzi, la reception metteva a disposizione acqua in bottiglietta fredda per gli ospiti, cosa gradita dato le temperature bollenti di Roma.

Note di merito ad Andrea della reception che ha trovato un ventilatore per la notte, è stato davvero utlie e gradito.

Essendo un 4 stelle mi aspettavo una maggiore cura, ma in camera abbiamo trovato il bidet rotto e il quadro elettrico privo di coperchio di protezione. Inoltre la colazione veramente deludente, non c'era quasi nulla se non dei cornetti qualche cereale e qualcosa di salato. Nessuna alternativa di dolce ne la presenza biscotti per bambini. Non si può servire un cappuccino in un bicchiere di carta in un albergo 4 stelle!

딱 4성급 호텔이네요. 가성비가 매우 좋아요. 주차장도 넓으니 호텔에서 잠자고 아침만 먹고 나오실 분들에게 추천드립니다. 로마시내 호텔 주차하기 힘들고 ztl신경쓰이는데 여기가 이리 좋은 줄 알았으면 여기로 쭉 다 잡았을 것 같아요. 우리 4인 가족은 나폴리갔다 피렌체 가는길에 잠만 자려고 저렴한데 알아본 것이었습니다. 직원들도 매우 친철하고 프로페셔널합니다.

Bon hôtel, seul bémol l'accès difficil à des heure

L'hôtel ne se trouve pas au centre-ville donc l'accès a l'hôtel devient très compliqué à une certaine heure.. prévoir une location de véhicule ou un budget consistant pour le transport.
Point fort de cet hôtel c'est leur restaurant. Les plats qualité prix 😘😘😘
