An unfortunate misunderstanding by the very excitable owners shortly after check-in with our paperwork and passport documents seems almost comical now. Such a beautiful property with a cool area a 5 min walk to nice restaurants! The owners got up early to give us a quick breakfast before our taxi arrived to head to the airport! The homemade ricotta strawberry jam tart was absolutely delicious!!

Our stay was very nice! The breakfast was delicious specially the pistachio croissant. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, even got us a taxi to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. If you ask they’ll even show you the routes and give you directions and maps to help navigate Rome. Overall the place was beautiful and we had a great stay.

Absolutely beautiful!! This place amazed us! We stopped in Rome from Florence for our final night before our flight back to the states and didn’t want to go into Rome’s city center. Our room was enormous with a separate living room. It was an easy walk to some fantastic restaurants too. It was the perfect place to enjoy our last day. I wish we could have stayed here another day just to relax by their pool.

The so called luxury suite didn't have a shower and the ceiling over tub was just 4'. You cant stand and take shower with hand shower. The whole suite was squeezed in an attic area with very low ceiling.
Sheets and bed quite ordinary and not looking fresh and clean.
Some of the lights didn't work and was not kept in good condition.
Nearest transit was a bus and not metro and that was good 15 min walk but hotel staff said just 5 mins walk. It was good 1 hour and 40 mins to get to city center and attractions from the hotel.

What a great place. Family owned and operated. We only stayed one night but would happily stay for several days. The grounds are beautiful and private and there are several areas to walk or just chill on the grounds. The patio for breakfast was beautiful especially if you like flowers. The food was terrific and cappuccino was as good as any barista.
We didn’t use the pool but it was inviting and well maintained. The walk to the square was about 4 minutes. Lots of dining choices and cafes. They also offer e-bikes which was a great touch. We would return.

Wow what an estate. It takes you back to a time in the 30s. The art the library the furniture and estate grounds were wonderful. We found an amazing restaurant and had a wonderful evening on out last night in Italy. Close enough to the airport and yet near the ocean.

It was an overnight stay as part of a larger Tuscany vacation. We arrived at night and Google took us to some questionable streets. Luckily we were greeted with beautiful mansion and warm host. The next day we were equally surprised by the beauty of the property when we had an amazing breakfast out on the garden by the pool. The house and property are absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting outside in the wonderful garden and on the balcony terrace. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed.We enjoyed a nice evening walk to a nearby Italian restaurant. The breakfast was excellent and it was served to our table outside in the garden. If you can’t walk upstairs this isn’t the place for you, but if stairs aren’t a problem it’s perfect and we highly recommended!

We just stayed one night before an early flight out of FCO. The property and owners were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The suite was large, clean, and beautiful. Small refrigeratory, tub/shower, sitting area, and separate bedroom. The grounds were beautiful as well. Very nice balcony for watching the sunset. Pool looked lovely, but was, unfortunately, was closed for our stay.

very nice people that own the house along with their staff.. couldn’t say anything bad about them… i do have some complaints though. first of all there are 3 flights of stairs that progressively get more narrow so if you’re handicap and or have very heavy suitcases don’t bother with this one. second of all there was absolutely no shower only a bathtub with a extendable shower head on it, we had to sit down to shower. next we booked 2 beds and when we walked in there was only one bed, when we asked if we could have an extra blanket and pillow the guy asked us if we were going to grab dinner after we had just got off a 12 hour flight and we’re extremely tired… we were very confused but the very nice staff put the bed together when we got home after the next day. The next thing is that the mosquitoes are very bad i don’t think it has something to do with this house in particular but italy in general nevertheless we got very bit up and had to make sure we were sprayed down at all times with mosquito spray. other than that are stay was good.

I truly felt like this is how the other half live! When our taxi driver dropped us off, he said that the neighborhood was the Beverly Hills of Rome! The house was beautiful and very well kept. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast in the garden was absolutely perfect! All of the amenities that you expect in a good hotel, with much more privacy. There is a shopping plaza and restaurants within walking distance, but it’s not handy to the train or downtown. Ideal if you have a car, or don’t mind taxis. I hope that I will get to stay there again!
