I booked this hotel in Rome because I believed it was close to the Fiera De Roma where a convention was taking place. Its not. And it is literally in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is very dated. The room smelled damp and mildewy and even though it was 25 degrees out, the a/c had been turned off for the winter and my room as 27 degrees. I ended up leaving a couple hours after check in and forfeited my 5 nights with no refund.
I ended up staying in a cute boutique hotel in downtown Rome and had the best time!

The best thing about this Hotel was how clean the room was and how the staff were.

The Hotel is extremley dated, the rooms were old and realistically did not match what was shown on the site as well as only informing that the Spa was not availble the day before I was due to arrive.

unfortunately I would not use this Hotel again, Value for money is not there at all.

The staff members were all very friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was clean and mattress was comfortable.
Be warned - There is no fitness room. And you can hear *everything going on in neighboring rooms.
There is not much to do near the hotel. But it was pretty easy to use the bus/train system to get around. I walked from Ostia Antica every day too. You can safely walk if you turn down the alley behind the hotel to avoid the stretch of main road that has no sidewalk. I was there for a whole week for a sports event. I recommend the Ostia Antica archeological site! I went into the Rome city center to see all the sites on 3 different days and used the metro. This was a clean, friendly, reasonably priced place to stay. I would stay here again. Quiet and away from the hubbub.

The hotel shows very well in the Hotels.com pictures although is not nearly as posh as shown. The website fails to mention that the entire spa and all services are not available after Sept. 30th. The bathroom in my standard room was tiny and poorly designed, very inconvenient. The room did have a lovely balcony which was great for drying clothes although noisy because the hotel is adjacent to a busy street.

The best thing about this hotel was the front desk staff and the shuttle driver. They were so helpful and do credit to their job. The hotel is in pretty poor shape and clearly different than advertised and even the pictures!! Very run down, in a strange and difficult to get to location. As a solo female traveller I felt very unsafe trying to use transport to get here after the train. In fact I stood for an hour at a bus stop and when I contacted the hotel I was told the shuttle bus they advertised was busy and unable to get me. Pre booked apparently. In the end I managed to get a bus, right as it was turning to dusk.
The shuttle was great to get to the airport but expensive at €35.
My room was clean and a great mattress, but would NEVER book this place again, especially as solo traveller

Room and hotel was nothing like photos, or at least there was a great deal of photoshop used in the photos to make it look as it appears online.

Rooms smelt like cheap disinfectant, toilet didn’t work, power would not turn on.

Asked for a refund as the place was worse than a motel, but cost over $350 for a night.

They refused, despite not fixing the room, and so we left and stayed at the Hilton at the airport..

Put it this way, I preferred to throw that money in the bin, pay another $600 to stay at the airport, then spend a night at this place.

Should be removed from hotels offerings.

Don’t stay unless it’s basically free!!

Great Hotel and very close to the LdV Airport!

This hotel was awesome! I arrived much later than expected and I was warmly greeted by the front desk! The gentleman at the front desk offered to take my bags to my room for me! So very thoughtful! The Lobby was very clean, as was my room. I was so hot because of the temperature in Rome. I wished that the Pool was open upon my arrival. When I entered my room, it was so very cool, that I no longer needed the pool! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone!

only stayed a night waiting from my fly out of Fiumicino; choose the hotel b/c the very reasonable cost (add to it the taxi from and back to the airport ~ 45 euros each way). The staff was extremely helpful and nice, that is what I liked the hotel most. Be aware : few options to eat near by but drinks/snacks at the hotel cafeteria were inexpensive

Pool was great front lobby and breakfast restaurant looked visually nice. The pictures of this property are very miss-leading. There’s really no Air Conditioning the first room they gave us was 30C/95F and no A/C the second room was on ground level and the best it got was 27C/88F but rest assured they gave us a fan, this was the actual A/C. The ventilation system had black all around the ceiling and walls of the vent, either they’ve never cleaned ed the air filter or it’s full of mold. I’m guessing both. I would not recommend this property.

This property is very tired. The pool is great and the front entrance is remodelled as is the dining area. The hallways are very dim light many light not working making it dingy. The room we were given was 31 degrees when we entered. After 3 hours it at 30. We asked to switch rooms and they accommodated to a cooler room that got to 27 degrees at the lowest point. So basically there’s no air conditioning or very little cooling. Other than that it’s a typical European hotel nothing luxurious by any means but good enough for a night or two. They were friendly staff and accommodating.

Lovely Apartment enough for 1 person like me but can accommodate 3 as this was a triple beds no view but not a problem as everything is on your doorstep bus train all easy to reach .lovely breakfast could do with milk in room for tea and coffee .Staff all very pleasent and very helpfull

The hotel is a bit dated which was ok for me. The room is basic. No coffee maker. No cups of any kind. I asked the bartender for one and he provided it. I need it for brushing my teeth. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Restaurant next door is amazing!! Staff was very nice and accommodating.

There's only one restaurant behind the hotel. That it's really good to eat but not many choices. You may have to take the bus in town because there's no sidewalks to walk. Bus is about a $1.50.
Euros, beautiful little town with a castle in the middle to visit. BUS is approximately about 10 minutes? On a bus, if you walk, there's no sidewalks, it will take you half hour. THE HOTEL WAS REALLY NICE. NICE POOL, FRIENDLY. PEOPLE GOT A BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING. NOTHING BAD ABOUT THE HOTEL

Ostia Antica Park Hotel is our favorite place to stay when we come to Rome, we usually stay here at least two times a year. This Hotel is comfortable, clean and close to the airport, it is perfect for us because it’s few steps away from my parent’s home. I stayed for 3 nights. On the second morning, I woke up to a dozen ants in my bed. I told front desk. When the cleaner came, she left the sheets on and just made the bed. I had to pull sheets back and show her the stains from the dead ants
Impossible to control the thermostat. When the temperature in the room reached 28C, I called front desk. Maintenance arrived shortly after, did something to the thermostat and then left. Bottom line, the AC did not work. The fan was running and making noise, but that was it.

I don’t know if this is just a European thing or not, but you’re just not really given any information about the facility when you check in. They just give you your key card, tell you what room you’re in and that’s it. You just have to figure out the rest, which is fine, but I also find the staff feel inconvenienced when you do ask questions. I am speaking specifically about the front desk staff. The cleaning staff were so pleasant and the one staff member interacted with at the breakfast area was very pleasant. Again, it could just be a culture difference that I’m not used to and am making an unjust judgement.

This is a nice hotel yet out of the shopping area. It was a 9 minute walk through alley ways or the busy highway so not the nicest. The grocery market was nice once I found it. The spa at the hotel was not in operation so that was very disappointing. Since I booked through Expedia, you don’t get to know these things. The staff was very accommodating and spoke English so I appreciated that.

Property did not have many immediate dining options in the vicinity. However, there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel and within a five minute ride, you can have access to multiple shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well-maintained. Air conditioning was not working well but the temperature were nearly 100degrees during my visit. The spa wasn’t open any of days we were there so if that’s important to you, I wouldn’t book this place. Over the hotel is nice & I will stay there again.

Expedia photos and descriptions aren't accurate. And although the staff was great the hotel itself was a letdown. The hottub, sauna and spa was under renovations. The outside pool wasn't the cleanest and there were no lounge chairs our umbrellas to enjoy the sun. Also the cabanas shown in the pictures were missing tarps and again to furniture. The restaurant had a decent breakfast but no other service was available and the nearest restaurant was a 10 minute walk away.

It’s a 2 km walk along a busy road (for a short distance on the road) to the Ostia Antica train station. Bus no. 4 runs on the road, but only 3 times an hour. Makes it very time consuming to travel into Rome. — the breakfast buffet was sad, consisting mostly of sweets, some days old. The staff were very friendly.

Very close to the airport which is great for getting out in the morning and they do offer a shuttle service for a fee. The hotel is definitely a neighborhood hotel, quite simple and a bit dated. The hotel, breakfast, pool, friendly shuttle driver and helpful front desk staff were amazing. The only challenge was taxis to Rome or the airport or Rome city are very pricey. There is a convenient bus that goes to Ostia Antica and there is a shuttle to the airport but the cost is higher than you’d expect. This Hotel is great for a day visit to Ostia Antica Park which is very worth spending the day but not for a day trip to Rome city.

The masseuse is super kind and it was very relaxing. The spa was also nice. My room was super clean and had good AC, not sure why many said there was no AC. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions I had. Breakfast was also good. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The staff wasn't the most welcoming or hospitable. We booked 2 rooms and we had issues with one of them. This particular hotel supposedly had air conditioning. After many attempts with getting the air conditioning to work, with raised the issue with the front desk. They said that it wouldn't get any better than that. We asked if we could move to a different room but they said no and gave us a fan. Also, the gym was supposed to be open during core hours and it wasn't. Each time, we had to get assistance from the front desk. The front desk was not approachable. I had to wait several minutes for one of the front desk staff to acknowledge me and get the gym door open for us. We also witnessed, nearly every day, someone complaining about the service or the rooms. Customers are definitely not a priority at this hotel. It would've been a pleasant stay if the staff was better and accommodating.

Worst hotel I ever stayed.. when I ask for the jacuzzi first the guy say I have to make a reservation the. I ask the lady and she said it was under construction no iron in the rooms. Also they tried to charged me twice for the taxes.. the guy said I can ask for anything in the bar which was included no laundry roo

Ostia Hotel was a great experience to us, nice service people, nice rooms, beautiful property, pool with clear wáter and kids enjoying and playing around was just a plus and fun. Ostia hotel thank you for making a pleasant experience of our visit.
Taxis won't to take you from the Airport, the Hotel is too close to the airport and they can't charge you higher so they rather to not drive you to the hotel, we had hard time looking for taxi and we arrived at midnight due to flight delay.

This is a large hotel and was able to take our booking at very short notice. The room was comfortable and had a good shower room but they did not supply a tea/coffee tray.
The night porter was extremely helpful when our taxi to the airport didn't arrive and kept phoning the taxi driver and other taxi companies to attempt to find another company to drive us.

I specifically booked this hotel to be near the airport and to use the airport shuttle. Their airport shuttle is extremely over priced. I paid $50 euro to get to the hotel the night before my flight (which is the cost to get me to the airport from rome anyway). Then the morning of the shuttle cost me an additional $35 euro for a less than 10 minute drive to the airport in a shuttle with 5 other people. They also charged me for breakfast when I told it was included when I called to ask. It’s not a great space the man that checked me in when I arrived was lovely but otherwise disappointed with the staff, hotel and over all experience

Don’t stay here. Too far from the Archeological park. They advertise that they have a “Turkish Bath”, when we ask to see the spa area staff didn’t know anything about it. The rooms are tiny with camping style showers. The amount you save by staying here cost you more in transportation fees!

This is a non smoking hotel but, throughout my stay, the second floor hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke . I let the front desk know but nothing changed.
The bathroom had a visible and significant patch of mold on the wall.
Pool is nice but small. I don't recommend this hotel for families.

There must be some miscommunication between the hotel and Expedia. On the Expedia listing it says there is a shuttle pick up from the airport but when we arrived and called them to pick us up they said they don’t do that. We ended up lining up for a taxi which not all cab drivers like to drive there for some reason. Another miscommunication between Expedia and the hotel is how Expedia categorize “children”. On the website it says up to 17 yrs. But in reality it’s up to 6 yrs only. We had to pay extra for my two teen daughters (15 and 16 yrs old). On the bright side, The staff was nice and accommodating. Our room was clean. This hotel is close to the airport but far from the city of Rome.

Comfortable bed… Plenty of hot water, however the water pressure was not that great...perhaps because we were on the second floor?. I was disappointed that many of the services mentioned on the website were not available. For example, there was no restaurant on site, no room service, or no airport shuttle for 15 euro. The hotel wasn't within walking distance of anything to support an extended stay. There was basically one restaurant nearby but it had limited hours that it was open. The staff at the desk were very pleasant and helpful though and the rooms were clean and quiet.

Not a Good Experience

We had four main issues: (i) ants were everywhere in our room; (ii) the air conditioning didn't work (we told the desk several times); (iii) the mini-fridge didn't work (we lost a lot of food in it); and (iv) the cleaning staff were loud early in the morning every morning, waking us up.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and the property is very nice. The air conditioning was a bit less than adequate in the hot days we spent there, and while there is an excellent restaurant close by, others were a 15 minute walk (or short bus ride) away. Overall, an interesting town and nice hotel.

Good stay for a clos place to airport.

Staff are very kind and attentive, everything was great. The restaurant next door is also fantastic!!!
They have a great spa section with a hot tub jacuzzi, humid and dry saunas. Wonderful place. Rooms are very basic

We walked in and walked right back out. It is nothing, NOTHING like the photos on the website. It was rundown and dirty. The room smelled like cigarettes, the lights in the bathroom didn't work and we felt unsafe there. We did not stay overnight. I would really like my money back.

Simple clean hotel a few minutes to the airport

I chose this place because it was near the airport and there is nothing much else around for dinner. It took me about 15 minutes to drive to the airport in the morning. Friendly staff and you can have a coffee and croissant in the morning.

Location excellent. However, when we arrived at the property late at night, there was no hotel signage, and the street was poorly lit. I got the location from a nearby businessafter I searched for 20 min. in vain. He knew the hotel manager and contacted him for us. The had left to. Stay the night Somewhere two hours away. We were stranded and had to find another hotel late that night. VERY frustrating.
