the rooms are dated I believe and the color scheme is a bit weird, but very clean and quiet, no airport traffic heard when we went to bed early so that was nice. Plenty of towels and they provided all the shower and sink amenities from a name brand vendor so that was nice.

Ate in the bar and food we had was was good and delivered quickly. The menu in the bar is a shorter version of what's served in the dining room we were told.

Also very easy to get to the airport for an early morning flight. Shuttle bus runs 24/7 and we needed to catch it at 4:30AM to make the first flight out. Shuttle is supposed to run every 15 minutes. Let's just say it's every 15 minutes +/- 10 minutes and you should plan on the late side. The shuttle was late for both our pickup and drop-off at the airport. However, it was easy to find the pick-up point at the airport so that was a plus.

I liked the restaurant - best food I ever had a Hilton gardens! Homemade pasta, pizza and delicious soup. The rooms were quiet, with good WiFi and plenty of electronic charging outlets. And best of all was the shuttle that runs 24/7 to the airport. We made it on time and without any stress.

Breakfast was fantastic - room was ok, staff when I checked in seemed very nice, was told they would waive parking fee, but checkout staff said no & charged €25. Would not have minded so much if hadn’t been told it would be free. FYI, only 6 vehicles in a 40+ lot…
Was close ( next door ) to customs / cargo so that worked out great.
I have some issues with Hilton and this property, but a different story.

Had an early international flight so hotel was convenient for an early start and they ran a shuttle bus to the terminal which was perfect. There was a dining area for dinner and a bar for drinks in the afternoon. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would stay again if the need arose due to location to airport save yourself the pain of trying to get to the airport in peak hour traffic.

They overcharged me -- used an excessive exchange rate -- a unfriendly surprise to come home to. When I tried to connect, they did not reply. Not did they send a receipt (which they said they would as it's a airport hotel and check out is busy, so they said they would simply send an email). I used Expedia, they are trying to help. Also, the food is very pricey! The room itself was clean and fine. The shuttle worked well. It is just is too costly for what it is and not worth the price.

Convenient location next to the airport. You can see the airport but you don't really hear the noise. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but nothing else around in case you wanted to eat something else. The shuttle to the airport runs every 15min, 24/7. Perfect, if you have an early morning flight.

The hotel was quieter than I expected. Since it was at the airport, I was worried about noise, but I never heard anything. The shuttle to the airport was the primary reason we stayed here, and it was easy to use and convenient. Staff were helpful. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and supper, and it wasn't the best meal we had, but it was good. Luca was our waiter the first night, and we liked him and felt he gave us good service. The only two negatives were about the room doors. We had 2 rooms, and both rooms had door issues. One room had to slam the door to get it to close and the other had a door handle that was very loose. We could close the doors, and they did lock so it wasn't a safety issue, but they were a nuisance to deal with. The other issue was that we stayed for 2 nights, but our key card expired after one night. I went down to the desk the 2nd morning, and they gave us new cards and apologized for the mistake. Not a big deal and wouldn't stop me from staying here again. Best thing was the large and well-equipped bathrooms. Overall, a good hotel and pleasant experience.

This place was a bit of a dump. I wish I had booked the Hilton that is actually at the airport.
This hotel is on airport grounds but takes a 15 min shuttle ride to get to the terminal. The property is dated in not in great shape. Our shower poured water all over the floor and had some broken pieces.
The restaurant had a waitlist of 30 min for dinner (and you had to wait nearby for 30 min for your table). The food was gross which is pretty notable in Italy when even mediocre food is amazing.

More difficult to get to than appears on the map. The shuttle is a free bus that runs often, but does fill up. Can be caught outside arrivals in bus area (more detail from hotel would of been nice). About a 10-15 min ride. Also be aware there are 2 Hiltons, the walkable one is not this one. The property itself is rather dated, no rug or carpet in room, so can be noisy and cold on the feet. Service was good, restaurant food, meh.

Its okay, very mediocre. The hotel is not at the airport it is 20 minutes away - there is a free shuttle that no one tells you about.
My biggest complaint is that we get there and they charge an addition $50 for \"insurance\" that is to be credited back, but has not been. We we returned home there are ADDITIONAL CHARGES ON OUR CREDIT CARD with no explanation.

The room and facilities were good and as expected. The issue was the delayed check in when my reservation was confusing to the staff. I had a confirmed reservation for a family room on and had a photo and the email showing the confirmation. The hotel had another reservation for me that was not adequate and it took three supervisors and 20 minutes to figure out the confusion. This was a very short overnight stay as it was between planes at the Rome airport and we just wanted to get to our room.

The receptionist was not friendly at all and our key didn't work. She was almost rude. We had to go back again and ask them to fix it. They didn't tell us the hotel amenities. The restaurant overcharged us. Bread was supposed to be free but they charged us anyways.

The hotel was very dirty, the halls, carpet, etc. Once we got to our room, again dirty floors, shower had hair all over in it, and the toilet was filthy with dried urine seat and hair in the bowl. Not a great experience.

We enjoyed our one night stay before we flew out of Rome airport. We did not use any of the facilities other than the restaurant for dinner and then for breakfast. Everything was perfect. Staff were wonderful. I just wish people would stop slamming their doors at 5:30 in the morning. It’s always one reason I hate staying in a hotel ….. so many inconsiderate people. Otherwise it’s a great stay and so close to the airport. The shuttle bus was free and efficient.

There are two Hilton Hotels at the airport. One is contiguous within the airport and you walk to it. The Hilton Garden requires you to take a bus that stops frequently to other hotels but comes every 15 minutes and it is usually almost full. The hotel is very busy and I waited at least one hour to just check in for a pre-paid stay because they only had 2 people handling so many new customers. The breakfast, while included and buffet, it is not of great quality. They drop you off and pick you up at Arrivals on Terminal 3. It was not easy to identify the pick up point and we wasted one hour looking for it. You are better staying in Rome at a hotel like IQ Hotel which is more refined and with better amenities, close to the train station and take the Leonardo Train for $22 EU per person which drops you off inside the airport and the ride takes 20-30 min.

We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn from 20-21 May 2026 and we were satisfied with the experience. Hotel and room were in good condition, the room had the typical airport hotel space and amenities, and the Hotel included a free shuttle bus service between Terminal 3 to the Hotel. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, and is available as a decent North American styled buffet at a reasonable fee.

However, take note that there are two Hiltons at the airport, Hilton Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn. We arrived to Terminal 3 via the Leonardo Express train from Rome Termini train station and we walked the 10 minutes following the signs for \"Hilton\" which took us to the (wrong) Hilton Hotel...which then required us to take a taxi to the Hilton Garden Inn at a cost of 35 Euro. The Hilton Garden Inn hotel is outside the airport, so one must first walk to the arrivals area of Terminal 3, look for Exit Door 3, and then go outside to meet the shuttle bus at a marked bus stop. We used this shuttle bus to get back from Hilton Garden Inn to Terminal 3 the next morning, and then did the short 5 minutes walk to Terminal 1.

It's a convenient (if a bit expensive) way to overnight to rest and relax, to get ready for a long flight the next day.

I had an issue with a temporarily lost passport and the staff would not check me in despite having paid for my stay through Expedia and having a picture of my passport.
When my passport was found and turned in to the front desk, my wife, who stayed in the lobby, was not informed.
Finally, we were given the farthest away room on the 3rd floor (347). I’m 71 and have knee problems. Pulling bags over the carpet to the far end was not easy.

Dinner staff was friendly, but occasionally seemed a bit disorganized. It took forever to please asked for my dessert selection and even longer to receive it,. That did not appear to be happening around me.

Shuttle bus is airport transit but lacks a place to secure luggage. Since most bags these days are 4 wheeled rolls, you can guess what happens.

We were staying at this property overnight waiting for flight’s home and its location and restaurant worked perfectly for us. Staff was extremely helpful during our stay. Restaurant offered generous portions at reasonable cost. Property was very clean and well maintained although a bit dated it was so convenient and reasonably priced it was great for a one night stay. Beware, the free shuttle is operated by the airport and if you have a lot’s of luggage be prepared to handle all of it on your own. For us, we would have considered using a cab to avoid dealing with our heavy luggage and getting it on and off a bus with no storage areas onboard to secure our bags,

Just before you book a room make sure you check all details, we used this hotel twice in our trip, the first time we booked a room with 2 beds everything was great except the room was small and we barely have room for our belongings because it had few space for it. The second time we used this hotel we got a bigger room, basically 2 rooms, each one with a kind size bed and plenty space for storage our belongings. Everything was great, it is comfortable, the staff are very helpful and polite, they serve breakfast and restaurant is available too. Very clean and safe, it is close to the airport and they have free shuttle. We had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend, it is family friendly.

We recently stayed in a family room at this hotel and unfortunately found it very underwhelming, especially for the price and what you would expect from a Hilton property.
The room setup was odd for a family. The “family room” consisted of one king bed and a pullout sofa bed that was extremely uncomfortable — honestly hard as a rock and not suitable for a good night’s sleep.
The bathroom layout was also quite inconvenient. There was only a two-piece bathroom in the main area, while the full bathroom with the shower/tub was located off the primary bedroom. This meant anyone needing to shower or bathe had to walk through the bedroom, which was awkward and impractical for families .
While the bathroom itself appeared generally clean, the shower stall had noticeable orange mould buildup and did not feel properly maintained.
The only real positives were the proximity to the airport and the convenience of the shuttle service. However, there is essentially nothing else around the hotel in terms of restaurants, shops, or amenities.

Rooms are really nice, well-appointed, comfy beds and all amenities. The other Hilton is walking from within the airport but much more expensive. The Hilton Garden location is extremely isolated, and it seems necessary to go around by shuttle by completely random roads covering some parking lots, making it impossible to find ANYTHING nearby within walking distance. Even taxi had to follow the same route which seemed like a one-way around half the airport. Staff is friendly, but a bit hard to find as multiple people communicate and man the desks, and questions and follow-through are a bit tedious. We chose this hotel because we were to arrive at 12.15am (our delayed flight arrived at 1.15am) and it had a free shuttle to airport, which would help in visiting Rome during our two-night stay before a cruise. The employees did not know their website gives incorrect information about the hours of the shuttle. Their website incorrectly stated their shuttle runs only until 10.30pm and there were also no clear instructions as to where & how to find it. Expedia confirmed they ran the shuttle 24 hours, and an employee emailed us to tell where to find it. We ended up taking a taxi for Eu35.00 because the instructions arrived too late. It should have been on the website. To visit Rome, or the Civitavecchia port, you must take their shuttle to the airport & then take the train, bus etc. to Termini. We ended up taking a taxi direct to the port for Eu150.00 which seems to be the flat rate.

Better clarification that there are 2 Hilton Hotels on the property. After a long walk, following signage, we were told we needed to go to Hilton Garden Inn on other side of airport. We weren’t alone, another couple was there also. No hotel courtesy shuttle available. Had to take a cab.Also, description for Hilton Garden Inn says hotel shuttle. There isn’t one, it is a common airport shuttle that make stops along the way to pick up airport employees.
